I'll explain:

When you start a pokemon game, the professor asks for your name, right? But, you are too lazy that day and decide to press OK and let him name you randomley.

This thread is about the craziest, dumbest, most awsome names you ever received!! You comment the name, if you chose it or not (and why), and if you decided to name yourselves

I'll start: In pokemon SS, professor oak called me Talon. I liked that name VERY much and decided to play my SS nuzlocke challenge and be addressed as Talon. i continued with the name up until i went to Cerebii (sorry moderators) and saw a 6th gen pokemon called Talonflame!
I immediatly thanked god almighty and prof Oak for the awsome name and went on to beat the basic nuzlocke challenge.

I never knew this was a thing until now, so when I saw this I immediately booted up LeafGreen and tried it out.

First Try: Kay. Is that a real name?
Second Try: Jonn. What? Why?
Third Try: Tosh. So I host a web show.
Fourth Try: Jak. I've only heard this in Jak and Daxter.
Fifth Try: Leaf. Wut.
Sixth Try: Ralph. A bit derpy, oh well.
Seventh Try: Green. What kind of name is that?
Eighth Try: Toru. A word used in Finland and Japan.
Ninth Try: Kaz. Sounds like a nickname.
Tenth Try: Max. So, a normal one.

It was at this point I realized that there was no rhyme or reason to these names whatsoever. Also, after a while the names started repeating, and I got normal ones like Taylor or Jon. Game Freak, what is this? Obviously they know what normal names are, so are they just trolling?
