All i really want atm is to buy a new graphic card, mainly for Minecraft when i'm bored. I have 400 GB unused space on my Local Drives which is WAY too much and i think my computer runs decently enough to not need any other upgrades. I always wanted to know how having 2 monitors fells like though.

I also finally fixed the "Attempting to boot from USB" problem my PC had while starting up with my USB inserted. It was way simpler than i thought it would be(i just had to change the booting settings).

Wish you would have posted about that sooner. I would have been helped you lol. Glad you fixed it though!

I guess my wishlist is for a new desktop. I'm tired of making do with Toasters than can emulate at best. Although there's this new phone I wanna try out...but sadly it's almost impossible to get. So I'll just shoot for the desktop.

The OnePlus One.

I saw a page for it while I was googling some stuff, and it caught my interest. When I tell you the specs and the price range are actually absurd? Calling themselves a Flagship Killer is almost not arguable in this case.

Specs:
http://oneplus.net/one#specifications

And for $299? ($349 if you go 64GB internal Storage I think?)

Someone was either high or really loves us, but I want it now.

They actually love us(kinda). They have some stupid back asswards ideas about distrobution(invite only is sadly only what they can do with a price like that for specs like that), and their recent sexist campaign is beyond stupid, but eh. They made it clear from the start, they wanted to to kill the flagships by releasing a low profit margin phone with killer specs. If they were only able to do mass production, it would have been perfect. I've been looking at one myself, but the 16 gig version from an unofficial vendor is 500 euros, and the only option. :/

The thing that caught my eye is that the phone comes with CyanogenMod installed by default. o_O

Yeah, that's another thing that got me. Any phone that comes with CyanogenMod is immediately worth looking at in my eyes.

It's mostly because people keep begging for this phone lol. Not that I blame them since the phone is amazing in retrospect. I hope to cop one of these before it becomes an arm and a leg, but only time will tell. If I do get it in time I'll be sure to review it here and let you know how it is in person compared to on paper. But when the paper is made out of fine silk, who cares right?

Kinda wish that campaign didn't happen but...eh.

I wonder what their policy on rooting is then :P at least in the USA, it's now "legal" for a consumer to unlock their phone if they choose to do so.

The technical process of rooting or unlocking the bootloader does not void the warranty of the OnePlus One. However, we strongly suggest for you to only root or unlock the bootloader of the OnePlus One if you are confident that you understand the risks involved. By accessing resources regularly unavailable to software, the process may damage your hardware during or after the procedure, which is not covered under warranty. In warranty handling, we will need to verify that any faulty behavior is unrelated to rooting/unlocking first.
Seems here that they're a bit more lenient than they are in the states, least as far as warranties. Some companies allow it but void the warranty, these guys still give you the warranty as long as you aren't doing AWOL stuff with your phone.

Japan needs to stop getting the crazy ass goods. I mean look at this!

5.5 inch screen, and almost no bezel. Ignore the color(put it in black) and you got one of the best freaking phones in the world. I WANT ONE.

That Crystal X isn't too bad. Pretty good processor and 2GB of ram is nothing to scoff at. I'd like to get my hands on one.

Kinda spoiled after seeing that Oneplus One though....

2GB on a phone does seem rather fast..and this is coming from the person whose phone only has 512 MB of RAM. :P

Yeah, 2 is pretty fast on a phone. Some have been rocking 3 as of late, like the aforementioned Oneplus and the LG G3. Not sure about the S5, but I'm pretty sure it does.

I don't remember you mentioning what phone you had. Which one are you rocking again?

I'm having a problem deciding between a Sony Xperia Z2, HTC One and LG G3. I currently have an Xperia Z1, and I'm contemplating the possibility of upgrading to a Z2. It is an excellent phone (bar the extremely poor speakers, something I hope they fixed in Z2). However, my friend recently bought a LG G3 and he says he's having a great experience using it. HTC One is far from my list having not used the brand once. I just heard very good reviews about it.

What do you guys recommend? Money isn't exactly an issue so any help is appreciated.

I just got an S5 the other day but my second choice was the HTC One. My boyfriend just got a G3 and he's addicted to it and highly recommends it.

I love my S5 so far though! I just wish it had the metal back like the HTC or that AT&T offered it in blue.

Mmm...honestly it's a tie between the Z2 and the LG G3 on my end. They're kinda the same besides the G3 having a slightly better processor, but I'm not sure if specs matter to you like that. I think this comes down to a matter of preference between these two since both are good choices.

You can use this as a rough guide if specs and whatnot matter: http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6144&idPhone2=6294

I would love the S5 so much if it didn't come with so much bloat. But I guess that doesn't matter since devs support it so hard lol.

Thanks for the link. Z2 edges the G3 in some areas, but they both look similar. The Z1 promised a 20.7 MP but it didn't seem as such. Same with the battery life.

I ordered both the Z2 and G3; I will try them each for a week or so and then choose based on what I feel most comfortable with. I will give the other to my little brother, who also wanted a phone for himself.

Well if you can afford a Z2, I would suggest waiting for the Z3. Apparently the specs are mostly the same, but it has an extra gig of ram, and the design is much more rounded apparently. Oh and the Z2 has issues, not sure if they ironed em out yet. The G3 is fine, but despite its specs the qHD screen uses a lot of battery to maintain itself, and the processing power goes to it as well.

Is there an announcement date for the Z3 or is it just speculation so far? 4 GB of RAM on a phone would be incredible tbh (since Z2 and LG G3 have 3). I guess I will stick to either the Z2 or G3 for now (since I ordered them and they should arrive today), and just trade it in when the Z3 is released. My Z1 has been lagging quite a bit for some reason. The camera and random applications crash a lot as well.

I own a Nokia Lumia 520. :) It's not exactly a good phone for apps since it's Windows Phone, but I also rarely use it for apps as well.

Ha, I never fill up my phone because I keep my music separate and I don't watch videos so I never have to worry about too much stuff from the OS on my phone. I'm a bit weird in that regard. I'm just happy that it's way faster than my S3 was and that it has a nice camera.

Well it isn't bad for the price. I suppose you could do a lot worse, like a budget boost mobile flip phone or something.

Oh yeah, most definitely. The S5 is a very powerful phone. It almost makes me angry how strong it is on the specs table.
