You are stranded on a desert island

Ok for this thread you are going to pretend that you are being shipped off to a desert island to spend the rest of your life. The reason? Well...there really isn't one, but it is happening! However, things aren't all bad. You are given the option to take 3 things with you to this island. These can be anything from a friend or family member, a certain food, an electronic of your choice, etc. What 3 things do you take with you and why do you choose to take them?

People count as items...? Eek. I'd take my boyfriend because if I'm stranded then I'm damn well making him suffer too, my laptop (I'd full charge it because I'm resourceful!!!) to look up survival guides etc and to try to contact for help, and a speedboat because why wouldn't you! If a boat's not allowed then I'd take some kind construction tools kit so I'd be able to make a boat myself from what's on the island. :D

1. - a log of chew
2. - my AR-15
3. - A pre-gased stolen Coastie boat, that way even if I do get lost on my way back and/or ran out of fuel, the Coast Guard would be bound to go out looking for their vessel at some point.
People count as items...? Eek.

Well..I really wasn't sure how else to word it haha. Maybe I should have said people or things. Anyways I'd want to take one person with me, and while I am not sure who, it would definitely be a family member. I love my friends, but family is always first. Secondly, I'd take a lifetime supply of chocolate. If I am going to be stranded I am going to have earth's little wonder known as chocolate! Lastly, I'd take my bed. Sleeping on the ground would get really uncomfortable after a while, so I'd love to have my warm bed to sleep in at night. n_n

My phone, a cell phone tower, and a pizza. I can call for help, and everyone will know what island I'm trapped on because there'll be a giant cell phone tower on it.

If it's a nice island, then I actually wouldn't mind staying here for a while. I would eventually miss my friends and family, though, so I'd definitely need to have some kind of a recreational vehicle to get back to New York. I would have my laptop with me, but since islands don't have Wi-Fi, what's the point? Instead, I'm going to have my phone. I would also have a portable solar power generator, so that I could always recharge my phone whenever it's out of power. :)

People count?! Then a helicopter (somehow I'd manage to bring it), a competent pilot, and my laptop. That should be enough to get me through things~

...in all seriousness, I'd probably take my laptop, boyfriend, and a knife.

I probably wouldn't mind staying on this island for a while. I'd miss civilization after a few weeks probably.
So yeah, thing's I'd bring... um..
1. A friend - what's the point of being on a desert island if you're alone? That's boring.
2. An axe would be pretty useful. Cutting down trees + potential for use as a weapon (if I get very hungry I can kill my friend with it >:) )
3. My wilderness survival guide.

Also maybe food would be a bit of a necessity but it's a bit late for that now. I guess I can find some.

My friend, a solar powered boat, a solar powered mobile phone. Someone to keep me company, a long-term mode of transportation and a communication device that never runs out of battery. (Y)

I would bring my laptop so that I could at least connectivity to the internet and communication with others, a stove for cooking food to live off of, and a refrigerator to keep foods that require being cold kept cold.

Assuming the island is going to have the necessary items for survival (trees, rocks near the beach, certain fruits and vegetables that grow on the island, wild animals for food and clothing) and that there is no electricity either, its an island, I'm assuming uninhibited by civilization, a lonely island in the middle of the ocean, so escape is possible, but too far away from any nearby civilization (escaping would be a risk unpredictable ocean storms, lack of food or water on the run in the ocean..... and so on) - that's how I imagine it.

I would take with me - even if they aren't too exciting.....
01 - my Watchog plush, my sole non-living companion

02 - my albino ferret, I'm sure if it can find food to survive, I should be able too as well

03 - a book on surviving to live in the wild (how to make water drinkable, how to b**graphic**r animals for food and clothing, how to make a fire - even if I know how, first aid without a first aid kit).

After a few days I would miss civilization and technology, I would miss a lot posting here on PokeCommunity.

I'll go under the assumption PersianTrainer made that the island has the necessary survival items, but there's no way of getting off the island itself. I guess the three items I'd bring with me would be:

An axe, which would useful as both a hunting weapon and a tool for building shelter and whatnot. A survival kit (first aid supplies, small tools, survival guide, etc.). And finally, I'd bring a small piano. I have no idea how to play, but no better time to learn than if I'm stuck on an island, and have a little entertainment while doing so. Plus, I'd like to think that the noises would scare off any possible animals that are around.

I don't know how long I'd last out there, but I'd like to think that the first two items at least would give me a fighting chance.

oh my god some of you guys. it's a deserted island. what makes you think there's internet?

i'd bring a friend. haven't decided which one yet.
i'd bring a survival guide book that lists plants you can and can't eat because poisonous.
i'd bring a weapon like a spear or something to help me kill things.
