I'm in the market for a replacement laptop (this Surface will eventually not cut it when Java programming comes up), and seeing I got pretty unlucky with regard to support with my broken laptop, I wonder which laptop manufacturer have good support, warranty and coverage.

I'm actually getting very interested in Dell if only for on-site support and accidental damage coverage. Who else should I look at, too? (Don't worry about specs for now.)

I would look around at any manufacturer, to be honest (if you're looking for support on a product that is). Luckily I haven't had to go through support at all for my products, but it wouldn't hurt to look at support policies on the websites of manufacturers and look around on the internet for reviews at how good customer support is.
