Sure. From a materialistic point of view, I'd make millions on gambling (not really gambling anymore if I know the outcome). I don't think I would try to alter the future. Assuming the future is concrete in this situation, if I saw something bad, I wouldn't try to change it but would pay attention to it in some form, kinda hard to explain. I.e. if someone I was close to was about to pass away, assuming I could do nothing about it, I'd be able to spend more time by their side.

I'd like to believe that I wouldn't. Sure, it sounds enticing to know what lies ahead of you and everyone else in the world, but the future can't be all sunshine and rainbows. There are bound to be a few incidents in the future that would terrify and/or sadden me, events which I'd rather didn't happen. To live with the knowledge that some things, like death of people, etc, would happen long before they actually do would probably drive me insane. It'd be a double edge sword.

But hey. Pandora's box.
he did it, not me.

I think I would, I'm just too curious not to look. I would want to see what the world would be like and where I would be, whether I was successful or not. I would probably be tempted to try changing things I didn't like about it too, that would be stressful.
I am glad that others would choose not to as well because I thought that I would be the only one. It would be awesome to know your future, but eventually things would get boring. There would be no surprises in life and you would spend all of the time trying to avoid the tragedies that you know are coming. I'd rather live my life out by surprise and whatever happens...happens.
if I had the power to see the future. would I use it? Not on myself nope. I would use it to help save other people.
Hmmm, I suppose that I would be ok with seeing the future of others as well. When I made my post I didn't consider this, but it would be nice knowing that you could see and change the future for the better for those that you love. The only flaw that I see with this is, if you are seeing the future of your family you are most likely going to also see some of your future because of the obvious relations.

Noo I wouldn't use that ability, I'd rather wait for my life to unfold and see what lies ahead for me.

I'm the kind of person that likes to think more of the present than the future. Frankly, I'm a bit scared of the future if I think of it too much. I tend to worry a lot about it, like what my life will be like or how the world will be like years from now. I would just rather wait and see because I like to have something to look forward to, if that makes sense. If I had this ability to know what the future will be like, I would have nothing to look forward to or be excited about because I would already know the outcome and it would just not be fun. The only time I would probably ever want to look into the future were if something bad were to happen to people in my life and I could do something to prevent it with this ability.

What's the point of living then?
If I was, say, in a life or death situation and I could know whether to step left or right, I would like to know. But even with stuff such as "how long do I live?," "what do I get on this test?," anything that doesn't kill me, I wouldn't want to know. Takes away the fun of life.
I like Sandshrews. A lot. I am Sandshrews number 1 fan. And don't you deny it.
