Every single time I come to this thread the discussion is about food. I'm impressed. I love chicken but it's expensive and hard to get hold of good quality at student pricing haha, I tend to use tuna for everything now - much cheaper and just as yummy!
Clearly you aren't around for when we turn into the local weather station.

And I used to have tuna everyday in 5th grade, heh.
he did it, not me.

Uh, food again.
Coming from a great lover of food, you guys talk about it too much. :I
It's not even generally talk about best place you've had a souffle, or the wonders of street food, or how amazing meat seared on a food cart's grittles is. (The beauty of it's dripping juices as it's lifted and turned, the mouth-watering taste that you can't seem to get anywhere else... :L) D:

Not trying to be mean, just raising a point.

There's many kinds of tuna, all of which contain heavy metals. Albacore's the lovely white one and tends to have more mercury, but the others aren't particularly better. I still limit my intake of tuna to maximum two cans a week :\ and that's for what I think is the lowest-mercury variety.

Hey, are you trying to outfoodie us?

Eeeeh, no.
I unfortunately rather recently met a large amount of people who call themselves foodies. Yeah, that put me off the word. Since I'm not a chef quite yet, I'm just a guy who likes food.

I wasn't really trying to 'Out-Foodie' you, more like ask:
"We've talked about Kool-Aid, where's the people who aren't afraid of eating Puffin?"

LOL on the topic of Kool-Aid, I can't remember the last time I had Kool-Aid. Does anybody remember Kool-Aid Jammers with the clear pouches? And then they got the opaque metallic pouches XD Oh those were the days...

I drank a Kool Aid jammers pack once or twice in my life. Capri Sun ftw yo.

My childhood growing up while in elementary school was watching Kids WB on Saturday mornings and playing games on the Game Boy Advance.

I used to have kool-aid jammers every day. I really liked those things.

My childhood was pretty much spent outside, hanging out with friends all day. Biking over to wherever we wanted to go. Then everything changed when the video game nation attacked. XD

YES. I started out on RTS and MMORPGs like maplestory, surprisingly, and only got into FPSs after playing the demo of Half Life 2 and the Lost Coast. I was /that/ impressed. And then Counterstrike came along, along with Battlefield, COD and all that jazz.

I'm not much for FPS. I've been told I have good instincts about the games and that I could probably become really good with some practice, but I just get so bored after two rounds of multiplayer.

The first video game system I got was an original xbox. We spent all day playing it, my dad got so mad at us. I used to play a few MMORPG's, my main one being Runescape, but I grew out of it eventually. Pokemon Showdown is about how multiplayer I get nowadays.

I'm not that good at FPS games myself, but I still play them anyway. I find them to be a lot of fun, and it's just a great way to kill time. :) Plus, it's always hilarious to hear people's reactions on the microphone when they're killed or when they've done something wrong.

My first home video game console was an SNES. My dad bought it for me as one of my birthday gifts, and he used to play it with me as well whenever he had free time on his hands. I still have this console down in my basement somewhere, but I'm not completely sure if it still works or not. I hope it does, though!

Man, in terms if FPS, I got so addicted to headshots that for a while, I would completely restart the game if I missed. Now I can shot the head off a running enemy unit/whatever at fifty paces. With a handgun. Or an assult rifle. Or shotgun. (Aim high.) yougetthepoint

I really love strategy, puzzle, fighting, racing. . . Pretty much any game that involves the prerequisite of actual skill, not just grinding levels. (ButIstillreallylovepokemon)

My favorite video game genre has gotta be RPG. My favorite games from this particular genre are Legend of Zelda (well, it's actually action-adventure, but I still consider it to be an RPG since you're playing the role of Link), Assassin's Creed (this is an action-adventure as well, but... y'know), Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and of course, Pokémon!

Some of my other favorite genres are racing, puzzles, open world, sandbox, platformer, and party.

I'm decent at FPS games and I really like them!
My favorite genre is the RPG one just like Perdition there. Games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, Pokemon and so much great games that aren't in the lights. I love RPGs <3

My favorite genre has to be either RPG or Puzzle. Pokemon is my favorite RPG, but Portal 2 is my favorite puzzle game. I haven't played the original Portal, but I want to so badly.

I loved Portal 2 so much! If you haven't played it, you need to. Even if it's not your type of game, it's wit and charm really put it above the other puzzle games. That game had me laughing so much.

I would go on about pokemon, but I'm pretty sure everyone already knows I'm addicted to it.

Portal 2 was okay, but the original Portal was my absolute favorite. What I really like about these games is that you're not required to have previous knowledge on them in order to enjoy them—you can jump into any version of Portal at any given moment and still end up being sucked into them. Haha. Are any of you looking forward to Portal 3?

There's going to be a Portal 3? I haven't heard of anything. If they are, you can be sure I'm going to get it. Despite I get headaches trying to figure it out, I love those test chambers.

I've played through Portal 2 but never really had the chance (or will) to even finish it. And like what was said above, I had little knowledge on the original Portal game as I had never played that and when I was playing Portal 2 I knew the controls easily and the background of the game.
