I'm a sucker for white Florges. <3 I adore white so it'd be a given that I'd prefer her and she does look really beautiful in that form. Still itching to breed and use one on my team. Definitely heard a lot about it being an amazing 'mon to use.
Shiny Florges though - any color - is just breathtaking. :)
I like all the Florges colours, but the White one ended up with the best stats, so she's the one I use mostly.
I do like the Red and Blue ones, though.
On a side note, I love her little coquettish giggle in Ami.
All the Florges colors have the same stats :o It's just that the White Florges is the rarest to come across naturally so most people want it more than others.

I meant individually.
I caught them, compared. The white one had some better IVs.

Why you like Fairies: They kick butt even though they're little bitty fairies.

Mawile is so awesome. You can send anything against it and its just like PIGTAIL JAWS NOM NOM NOM.
Did you guys know that there will be an official online competition that will only allow Fairy-types? It's planned to happen this fall, but so far the battle format hasn't been decided yet. Since it seems more like a novelty tournament, I'm hoping that people won't go crazy competitive. So, will anyone here participate? Which Fairy-type Pokemon do you think will do best against all the other Fairies?
And here's the official announcement from the PGL (link):
• Autumn: Fairy Type Cup (tentative title)
Look forward to a competition where entry will be limited to Fairy-type Pokémon. The battle format is to be determined.
Also, welcome Peaceful Giraffe! Oh my gosh, pigtail jaws, best description for Mega Mawile ever! I have a feeling your favorite will definitely be a very common face in that Fairy Cup tournament, hehe.
Which fairy-type Pokémon do you think will do best against all the other fairies?
I'm going to say Mawile and Klefki, because of the steel typing, which is hard for fairies to counter, plus they're very good on their own. (Huge Power and Prankster FTW)

Partner Pokémon: MONSIEUR SLURPUFF
Why you like Fairies: Cute, elegant, powerful, severely annoys people who don't like cute things...what's not to like? Also, my favorite SNES puzzle game is all about fairies <3
Answer a Topic!: What is your favorite Fairy type Pokemon? Why?
Slurpuff because I'm a dessert nut :P FEAR THE CUPCAKE
So there's a fairy-type cup? Hmm. Can't imagine that'll go very well - there aren't that many fairies compared to other types, and there aren't very many competitively viable fairies either. The ones that are, though...well, I wrote this recently~
Spoiler:
How to build a mono-Fairy team. Why? Because Fairies rule the doubles arena.
Pros: Great coverage, plus they're the cutest little monsters ever witnessed
Cons: They have no Ground moves and little Fire and Fighting moves. One Steel type ends them pretty fast. TL;DR summaries: Mainstays:
Xerneas - Banned in everything but Ubers so only use it there.
Azumarill - It's one of the two physical powerhouses the type has, use it or bust.
Mawile - The other physical powerhouse IF you use its Mega form.
Klefki - The only Prankster in VGC, it does its job well anyways
*Togekiss - Amazing special attacker, but only usable outside VGC. Has Aura Sphere and Flamethrower for coverage. FAIR-ly good: (I'm punny)
Gardevoir - Has a Mega form but you give up Mawile to use it, still good without it. Cannot Pixelate Hyper Voice in VGC.
Slurpuff - If you're not using Togekiss you're probably using the cupcake, as he has Flamethrower.
Florges - Special wall in singles, has an amazing HA in doubles, also has Safeguard, Aromatherapy, and Wish.
Sylveon - If you're not using Florges you're probably using Sylveon, she has Reflect and Light Screen. Not all that great:
Mr. Mime
Wigglytuff
Clefable
Granbull
Aromatisse
Whimsicott - It has Prankster, but Klefki has better typing.
Dedenne - LOL NO
Carbink - Not enough HP.
Diancie - So far it looks pretty meh but that might change, VGC'll ban it for sure though Singles Strats:
- Light Clay Sylveon. Enough said.
- Klefki. Also enough said. If allowed, it has SwagPlay. AKA RageQuit.
- Florges is your special wall if you desire. Doubles Strats:
- Florges can use Symbiosis to pass an item to its partner in doubles after the partner consumes their item. Belly Drum, usable by Slurpuff or Azumarill, can trigger a Sitrus Berry immediately. Therefore you can pass a Choice Band to Azumarill, or for Slurpuff, give him an Absorb Bulb and use Hidden Power Water to trigger it, and pass him Choice Specs. You could even pass them other items, but these are the big ones.
- Slurpuff's Unburden boosts its speed after it consumes its item. This makes Absorb Bulb a powerful tool in doubles, though sadly the only Fairies to get Surf are Azumarill (meaning a wasted slot on its set) and Slurpuff himself. As mentioned, however, Hidden Power Water can trigger it, though if Florges hasn't already passed her item then Symbiosis activates, which cancels out Unburden. I loathe Hidden Power, though. If you're not playing VGC, consider using Togekiss instead of Slurpuff.
- Klefki has Imprison, which allows you to stop the enemy from using moves you hate until Klefki gets taken out. Klefki also gets Protect, Thunder Wave, Toxic, and plenty else I'm forgetting. Pick what you think will be both useful to you and used often by your foes. Oh and I guess Swagger, if that's allowed. In VGC it will be, but everyone will hate you for using it.
So in short we're likely to see nothing but Azumarill, Mawile, Florges and Klefki.

Why you like Faires: Because I see them as traditional faerie. Cute, Mysterious and Powerful.
Answer a topic: " What is your favorite Fairy type Pokemon? Why?"
hmmm... tie between Clefable and Togekiss... Because one is a pixie and other is an angel.
" Willow is my middle name, Willows are fixable and not easly broken, I'm not giving up."
Which fairy-type Pokémon do you think will do best against all the other fairies?
I mostly agree with some of the above posts - Mawile and Klefki, because they have that Steel-type which has a big advantage over Fairy-types. Plus most Fairy-types usually have issues with countering Steel-types, and there's two notable niches with the dual Steel/Fairy's. Mawile has that insanely strong Mega Evolution with Huge Power, and there's also Klefki's amazing support movepool which it can abuse its Prankster ability with. Klefki also has pretty balanced stats all around, and it can still put up a fight for its small size.

Just mega evolve Mawile and you have yourselves a real killer. ;P Azumarill is a pretty tough force to be reckoned with too, again because of Huge Power.
Though I'm also in agreement with Togekiss when it comes to move diversity and design.
But welcome to all the new members, I will get you on our roster asap!
Let's all take a second and appreciate MEGA DIANCIE <3
Now I'm VERY torn. Mega Diancie or Mega Gardevoir? uuugh
Which fairy-type Pokémon do you think will do best against all the other fairies?
I'm still very much pro Mega Gardevoir tbh. Hypnosis, Calm Mind, Hyper Voice, Psyshock/Focus Blast. <3

Answer a Topic!: Favourite Fairy Pokemon? I love Megamawile because it turns into a serial killer. I also love Florges because her design is so gorous. All of the flabebe line is beautiful. Jigglypuff is one that I'm also really fond of as well.

Why you like Fairies:
Because they're the "Light-type" that I've been wanting to see for so long, but better!
(Because "Fairy" seems MUCH more Pokemon-like than "Light".)
What is your opinion towards the Fairy type in battle?
I feel that they bring more balance to the type chart.
Dragon & Fighting are 2 of the most fearsome pokemon types & now have an additional
weakness to make them more bearable & because Fairies are weak only to Poison & Steel
attacks, they now have a real reason to exist.
(before, Pokemon would only have Poison or Steel attacks when they have nothing
better.)
The way I build my team now is to make sure that no more than 2 of my pokemon has the
same weakness, so because of the Fairies mentioned banes, they tend to fit in ANY team I
make, so that's another reason I love them so!
oohh noooo I forgot to post here again i'm a bad fairy
Nevertheless, welcome new fairies to this club! We're a humble community, but boy to we sparkle. <3
Well, needless to say, I am extremely excited about the introduction of Mega Diancie. If that Pokemon wasn't already wonderful enough, it's now twice as strong, pink, and beautiful. Has there been any official news regarding if/when Diancie will be distributed in the US/UK?

I was wondering if this thead was going to die... Let's hope that it doesn't.
Anyways, I don't know of any Diancie events in the US or UK, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out, as I
REALLY want one!
I'm totally gonna nickname mine into Serena if possible. She's soooo cute ;A;
I'm super curious as to how the Mega form's stats are going to turn out. Diancie is rather impressive on her own, and I hope mega gets a boost in HP.

I doubt it... so far, NO mega evolution has a HP incease but there is a 1st for everything...
Something I think would be better if she got an ablilty that restores HP...

As Stoney mentioned, Megas don't have stat increases to HP, just the other stats. But still I have a feeling Diancie will get an increase to Sp. Attack and both her Defense and Sp. Defense, making her a defensive tank that hits hard. Can't wait to see what ability she gets, hope it's an interesting one.

I love Diance's base stats. Her mega is going to be amazing. I have a feeling that they will split the extra stats between all the stats apart from HP. I predict her final mega stats to be 50/120/170/120/170/70 or if they keep her speed the same 50/125/175/125/175/50. I'm getting a Pokemon centre Diance Charm and Plushie soon.
What is your opinion towards the Fairy type in battle? I think it's an amazing type. Brilliant denfensive type and the pokemon are also versatile and beautiful.
What is your favorite Fairy type team? All of them lol. I'm planning on making a fairy team at the minute; Red Florges, Mega-Mawile, Clefable, Togekiss and Slyveon.
Which Fairy type Pokemon do you find to be the best battler? It's a tie between Clefable, Slyveon, Togekiss, Mawile, Azumarill and Florges. You don't expect it, but they can be really powerful things.
With the upcoming release or Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, which Fairy type Pokemon are you hoping will make an appearance? Where would they appear, and how frequently would they do it?
