So, the party has begun. The entire city seemed to be glittering with lights and Christmas spirit as the black luxury car cruised through the bustling roads on the way to the radio tower. It seemed to be a never ending stream of people scurrying through stores, finding the perfect gifts for loved ones and enjoying the festive season. It was quite the warming sight, if you cared for those sorts of things at least.
Saturn, however, wasn't particularly fond of such scenes. It was his first time out of Sinnoh, ever, and he wasn't entirely comfortable with being in these new surroundings. It was completely different from the industrial paradise of Veilstone city, but it had the same energy and life. So, maybe there was not much difference? The sapphire haired youth simply tried his best to just ignore it all whilst his canine companion seemed to be soaking in all the surroundings. The Mightyena seemed to be looking forward to the party more than it's trainer.
When the car approached the red carpet Saturn did not linger long, he did not wish to remain in the public eye as attention was the last thing he craved. He merely clicked his tongue to urge the bite pokémon onward, and the Mightyena complied. He would not disobey his trainer, at least not too much.
"Well, isn't this something."
He mumbled under his breath as he looked up at the enhancements that had been made; the architectural improvements and all the pretty decorations making the place seem so majestic and bright. The young boss admired it for a moment, but it seemed his companion had other intentions for this place. With a few quick barks, Mightyena made his way to the stairs, calling his trainer to him so they could get to the real prize. The food. Mightyena could smell it from the lobby and he was not wasting any time, and sadly enough for Saturn he had to comply with his pokémons demands.
The dark pokémon raced up the stairs, with Saturn trailing behind, trying to run and be dignified (however, that plan fell apart rather quickly and he just ran for it to keep up). Alas, they reached the third floor, a little out of breath but thankfully no injuries to themselves or the other guests. So, Saturn took a deep breath, fixed his hair and looked down at his excitable pup, speaking sternly so the little tyke knew he was being serious.
"Behave yourself now. We're in a higher class of company."
