Homework's purpose is to reinforce what was taught in class, so if you didn't understand most of the questions, then that's a sign you should practice a little more. Even with special needs, practice makes perfect.
Interesting.

But still, it's kinda weird how I never got homework most of the time. Guess I found it too hard.

What classes were they?
Computer Ethics (which is a reason why I'm making several topics about such in D&D), Data Structures, and Principles of Programming languages.

Is your schedule tightly-packed? Hopefully things get better later on for ya.
On tuesdays, it's only those 6 hours, but on thursdays, I have a 2 hour lab course an hour before all that starts. I'd say those two days are the most gruelling, but I have to get them out of the way.

Homework is a drag for me, because of my photogenic memory. It really angers me when teachers take notes for a grade and hand out a pile of homework, because not only are the regular folks getting over on something they'd be doing anyway, but I have to do it as if it were a regular assignment – for nothing other than a simple stamp. I don't need practice at all! I memorize everything and get amazing scores on all my tests, but homework always falls short because its a big pit for my spare time that I just don't want to invest in.
But just because you don't need practice doesn't mean the typical student doesn't. A lot of people need reinforcement after a lesson to really learn the material and practicing it on their own helps them with that. Though I do recognize your point.

High school work is ******** compared to any work given by decent university.

Doing homeworks have personally helped me understand stuff that I missed or didn't understand during lecture. More often than not in my case, stuff I did in homeworks have regularly appeared on exams. I used to hate homeworks but I love them now, oddly enough.

Really hectic day, just came to home after 6 hours of almost continuous lecture over 3 different classes. Only the start of this terrible semester.
Are you a patient person?

I'm considering packing all of my classes into maybe one or two weekdays next semester. I vastly prefer class times that only meet once a week for 2 and a half hours compared to ones that meet multiple times a week. Primarily because it saves gas.

I don't have a problem sitting through a lecture at all. In fact, when it comes to school, I prefer lectures compared to other types of classes.

But I'm still undecided because if I choose all my classes that last the entire day / two days, then I'm not sure if I'll set aside the time to focus on the work throughout the week to better understand it.

What is it about Tuesdays and Thursdays that bother you exactly?

If I took it easy, I'd have to take 5th year which is something that I don't want to do - Waste of money, time... I don't even want to imagine it. I had no choice but to cram several classes near each other. It has its ups and downs; it can get very hectic but at least I don't have to wait hours between classes.

It's just me complaining after a tired day. I had a similar schedule last semester but I'm just worried about the increasing workload and learning about more abstract and difficult theories and if I can swallow everything.

Meh, I've heard so many different opinions on if college is harder the hs or not. It probably is, but I won't know until I go there mysslf. I'm pretty sure some of the AP classes in hs are harder. For example, I'm taking AP chem. right now in college and it's supposedly sophomore level chemistry. On the other hand, when I take organic next year that should and probably will be more arduous.

Just curious, what classes are you taking?

College is much more fast-paced than AP courses because the same (or similar) material you learn in high school in 10 months, college teaches it in three and half to four months.

I'm currently taking 5 courses:

German: I've just started this week and I can now count up to 10! Horray!
Science of Water: Hopefully my joke course, though there's still some work to do.
Principle of Programming Languages: Learning about different types of programming languages and their importance to discipline of computer science.
Ethics in Computer and Technology: Just as it sounds. It's a fairly interesting topic, actually.
Data Structures: Learning about storing and organizing data. Expecting this to be my toughest course as I have to do 30-hour projects.

Luckily I'm in dual enrollment where I can get semi-decent college classes out of the way for my University while taking them on a Community College level! (which is a joke). I'm a senior in high school and I already have finished:
Enc1101
Enc1102
General Psychology
College Algebra
Calculus
American Government

I took a really intense history lecture course last semester and I'm so glad I took that. Lectures are a breeze now.

He had his entire lecture memorized (including the very specific dates and names), and didn't use any notes or guidelines, and lectured the entire length (2 and a half hours!) while also keeping class interesting by interacting with the students a little bit by telling jokes and things like that. I instinctively lose respect for any professor who lectures with a powerpoint, writes notes on the board, projects their notes already written on an overhead, or anything like that. I just think "What is this, high school?" It forced me to pay attention.

It was intense and helped me tremendously with note taking. By the end of each class, I had an additional ten pages of complex but easy to follow notes. All hand written.

Now in lectures, instead of paying attention to the professor and staring at the blackboard waiting for him or her to write something, I look down the entire time and write anything I think is important and occasionally glance up for names I don't really know how to spell. Whereas, I've noticed that almost the entire body of my lectures just watch for changes and new notes that are written up front.

Speaking of which, I highly suggest writing your notes down during class because it drills it into your mind better than typing it out.

This quarter is pretty easy, but insanely boring.

I have econ at 7:30 in the morning, so that's not so great. What's even worse is that the professor just lectures the entire time. It's not even interesting either. She writes down notes and then just says what she wrote. She struggles with answering questions that pop up, but this is her first time teaching, so I expect her to get better as time goes on, and I think she's improved a lot already.

My saving grace is my intro to education class. Now that class is fun, for me at least. Today we designed a lesson plan on how to teach the civil war to high school students. It's a lot more fun than it sounds, trust me.

My math class is a joke. I already know everything that they're going to teach because the placement test places you in the last math class you passed. I technically already got a 100% in this class and I'm bored out of my mind. On the bright side, I changed it from math, to my writing planning period. I just focus on what I want to write about rather than take notes.

I really enjoy my Chemistry professor. So glad to have her as both my lecture and my lab professor. She manages to remember who's who, and the class size is like 32.My English professor, on the other hand, is quite different. He lectures the whole time without powerpoints, and doesn't memorize names at all, and the class size is smaller. We use a sign-in sheet to show that we're present, and he calls names off of it instead of just memorizing faces.

That's what its like for me re: math. It's an easy A for me for the time being (but I'm in computer science, so I have a lot more math classes to come), though.

^ College is going to be a walk in the park for you.
Idk man, Calculus 2, Physics and Organic Chem. may be challenging. Tbh though I'd rather pull a Good Will Hunting and just go to the library. I don't even wanna go to college.

I know what you mean man, I hate homework! I try to get most of it done at school, and if I don't get it at home I hurry up and do it before class (like tomorrow).

Also idk who CC is in the server. xp
