I like how the Tier 6 supporters get darker usernames than the other supporters. ;)

No school today and it didn't even snow. I'm not complaining, high school is the bane of my existence. It's a waste of seven hours a day and just makes me tired. Hopefully college will be better. I learn more in studying for an hour than I do in a 7 hour day at my school.
Trust me, it gets much better.

I enjoyed middle school more than high school. High school was just...yuck.

Heh, high school is an absolute waste of my time, especially since I'm expatriating when I'm an adult. I'm about tired on getting graded on how well I can waste my time regurgitating useless information. I'd be an A student if it were all based on tests, as I have a 90% average on my tests and I haven't studied a day in my life lol

Most of my grades would have been A's or B's if it wasn't for the most pointless thing in the world: Coursework. I'm like you, I didn't study beforehand, I just went in cold, because there is always in a test, something you have never covered.

Hate to break it to all of you not studying.. I made that mistake when I started high school. It sucks trying to get scholarships and stuff for college and you spend 11th and 12th grade year making up for the **** you screwed up earlier. If you plan on going to a University, start doing the homework or you're going to be in financial trouble.

I wish someone told me this sooner.

I've always been like "Studying, what's that? How do you do that?" And I have no clue, and no need. It baffles me to imagine the process of "studying". Does it perchance involve repeating sentences over and over to strengthen memory? I have no idea. :p

This isn't education; it's slavery. It's a facade designed to give people the false impression that they are free; they are not.

It's a mass production line for making obedient workers, and it works. I myself am in disgust and appall at such a system.

Don't even get me started on the school system :l It's a mess.

College is awesome though. The only issue I have with it is the stigma against not going, and all the "Don't you want to be successful?" talks people give you if you choose not to go.

Also how extremely expensive it is.

Oh right, sports is such an important thing in schools in the US. Seems a bit annoying (the way it's portrayed in films at least).

I remember seeing two guys in our cafeteria towards the end of the day (during 7th hour) receiving full ride scholarships because they're good at football. -__-

I also find it extremely idiotic not only in the fact that athletic scholarships exist, but that the American school system display an unfair bias towards football scholarships over other sports. :<

Athleticism isn't really important in schools per se, but a lot of high school students do certainly use athletics as a means to get a free ride into college.

Sports isn't really relevant at all over here, only if you later plan on doing something where it would be important i.e. Bundeswehr or such jobs

using red now because I suppose it works both on dark and light backgrounds whereas the avaiable shades of Green didn't, that's why

I don't like how my country finds such an insane amount of importance and value in a game, and treats it as more important than even politics for many. It only makes it clear how ass-backwards our priorities are in the U.S..

This is one of the best days I've had since I started college. Not because it's Valentine's Day, but mainly because I got to stay home without having to go out and not worry about any schoolwork.
