Hey guys, So uh... I'm sorta new to competitive battling and I've won a few battles online but I've kinda lost a lot ahah... Can anyone help me cover up holes in my team?

So I'm running with:

Tryanitar - Adamant 5 IV - (Recommend me a spread, the guy I got it from gave it max speed and atk. I think he was running D-dance)

- Crunch
- Stonedge
- Earthquake
- Aerial ace

Goodra - Modest 6 IV - Maxed SP.Def and Def + some points in HP -

- Infestation
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Fire Blast

Gengar @ Gengarite - 5IV Maxed Speed and SP.ATK - Timid

- Dazzling Gleam
- Sludgebomb
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball

Zoroark - 5 IV Max Speed and SP.Atk - Modest

- Extra sensory
- Night Daze
- Flame Thrower
- Nasty Plot

I have 2 other pokes but they were mostly used just to finish the story, Suggestions of Pokemons to complete my team would be greatly appreciated!

You can re-EV train Pokemon, btw.

It's better to put all of a Modest Goodra's EVs in to Sp.Attack and HP. This maximizes its ability to sponge special hits (forget about it tanking physical attacks). Give it an Assault Vest and replace Infestation with Sludge Bomb or Focus Blast.

Gengar's moveset isn't bad, but these would be more effective:
-Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Focus Blast, Destiny Bond
-Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb/Focus Blast, Substitute, Disable

Tyranitar's a Pokemon that has several different viable sets. If you don't wanna re-EV train it, it MIGHT be possible for it to re-learn Dragon Dance. But I'm not sure about that, I have yet to confirm it. And since I'm too lazy to type out all of Tyranitar's sets (since almost any one of them could work for your team), here's the links to the pages with the sets:
http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/tyranitar
http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/tyranitar.3490010/

Zoroark's not the best Dark type, but you can use it if you want. If you wanna use a Nasty Plot set, it needs a Focus Sash. Zoroark is a very frail Pokemon.

As for your remaining 2 slots, something that can take physical attacks, particularly Fighting type ones, would be good, and something to deal with Fairies, who threaten 3 of your Pokemon (Gengar can't handle everything). Steels handle the latter well. Try Ferrothorn or Scizor:

-Ferrothorn w/Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed/Sassy
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP, 40 Defense, 218 Sp.Defense OR 252 HP, 126 Defense, 126 Sp.Defense
Moves: Leech Seed, Stealth Rock, Gyro Ball/Thunder Wave, Power Whip/Protect
Do not use Gyro Ball and Thunder Wave together.

-Scizor w/Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP, 252 Attack, 8 Sp.Defense
Moves: Bullet Punch, U-Turn, Pursuit, Superpower/Brick Break

or

-Scizor w/Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves: Bullet Punch, Swords Dance, Brick Break, Bug Bite/X-Scissor

or

-Scizor w/Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Tech
EVs: 252 HP, 40 Attack, 216 Sp.Defense
Moves: Swords Dance, Bullet Punch, Roost, Bug Bite/U-Turn/X-Scissor

As for a Fighting type/physical wall, Gliscor and Gourgeist do the job well:

-Gliscor w/Toxic Orb
Nature: Impish
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP, 244 Defense, 12 Speed
Moves: Eathquake, Knock Off, Roost, Toxic

or

Gliscor w/Toxic Orb
Nature: Impish
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP, 40 Defense, 224 Speed
Moves: Substitute, Toxic, Earthquake, Protect/Roost

-Gourgeist (Super Size) w/Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 4 Sp.Defense
Moves: Leech Seed, Seed Bomb, Shadow Sneak, Will-o-Wisp

Gengarite is banned so you arent able to use MegaGar outside of ubers.
Indoor_Shades, is this team for Battle Spot battles or Showdown battles? If its for Battle Spot, Mega Gengar is usable. If its for Showdown, you can't use Gengarite.

Oh yes I know about the reset EV thing but I can't seem to find a reset bag (not sure why I've been hitting the black bag randomly) or I'm not sure I'll be bothered (I think I will be though)

Yes I do realize Gengarite is banned, I can take it off (this is mostly for casual play with friends but nyeh) if needed.

Oh and my Goodra, I was evaluating it's stats and I noticed it still can throw in Sp.Attacks without the need of me EV training it and still being effective :D So yeah I'll stick to the current EV's for the Goodra.

Also I havent been bothered to go to the Battle Maison to get those useful power items... I also plan to get a Gourgeist soon but I'm having trouble breeding and my simple minded brain can't understand some of the videos being made on youtube.

Pokemon can relearn egg moves, such as Tyranitar's Dragon Dance. Dragon Dance is only good with Mega Tyranitar because its Speed is more suitable for that role than regular Tyranitar. Until then, here are better sets for you to use:
-Stone Edge/Rock Slide
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Fire Blast/Stealth Rock
Nature: Sassy/Careful
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 SDef
Item: Leftovers/Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream

or
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
-Pursuit
-Earthquake/Ice Punch
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe (Jolly) or 180 HP/252 Atk/76 Spe (Adamant)
Item: Choice Scarf (Jolly)/Choice Band (Adamant)
Ability: Sand Stream

I don't like Goodra's set at all. What are you trying to accomplish with Infestation? You might trap a Goodra counter. Your EV spread is also inefficient:
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Thunderbolt/Sludge Bomb
-Focus Blast/Dragon Tail
Nature: Modest/Quiet/Sassy
EVs: 248 HP/252 SAtk/8 SDef
Item: Choice Specs/Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper

Zoroark isn't good this time around because of all those Fairies running around. Even though Greninja is weak to Fairies as well, it's still the preferred option because of the offensive pressure it applies with Protean:
-Hydro Pump/Surf
-Dark Pulse/U-turn
-Ice Beam/U-turn
-Hidden Power (Fire)/Grass Knot/Extrasensory
Nature: Timid/Hasty
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt
Ability: Protean

or
-Spikes
-Hydro Pump/Surf
-Ice Beam/Extrasensory/Dark Pulse
-U-turn/Taunt/Hidden Power (Fire)
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Focus Sash

As I said I'm not a hard core competitive battler um, I do play a few moba games though so I understand why you guys are saying, What you're suppose to be doing > What you like doing.

I also previously mentioned the reason of my EV spread, I'll think definitely keep in mind about what you said. Is there a way a way to get a Sub stealth rock T-tar going? Sounds pretty good with Adamant.

Oh yeah I was also wondering guys.... How would you beat a tanky Driftblim with substitute, Phantom force and left overs? 2 other skills unknown,

No. I don't agree with Substitute + Stealth Rock on Tyranitar. All Tyranitar should do is sponge incoming special hits, then set up Stealth Rock on the switch. Choice sets should hit hard or fast, then get out.

Infiltrator users like Noivern and multi-hit move abusers like Cloyster have their own ways of bypassing Substitutes (Infiltrator lets Noivern ignore Substitutes, Reflect and Light Screen while attacking, while Cloyster uses Skill Link to ensure that its multi-hit moves hit 5 times to bypass Substitutes). Sound moves also bypass Substitutes. Most of them are Normal, but Exploud can use Scrappy Boomburst to ensure that not even Substitute users and Ghost Pokemon are safe:

Cloyster:
-Shell Smash
-Icicle Spear
-Rock Blast
-Ice Shard/Razor Shell/Hydro Pump
Nature: Jolly/Naive
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: White Herb/Lum Berry
Ability: Skill Link

Noivern:
-Draco Meteor
-Flamethrower
-Focus Blast
-Hurricane/U-turn/Switcheroo
Nature: Timid/Naive
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator/Frisk

or
-Draco Meteor
-Flamethrower
-Focus Blast
-U-turn/Roost/Dragon Pulse
Nature: Naive/Timid
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Infiltrator/Frisk

Exploud:
-Boomburst
-Overheat
-Focus Blast
-Flamethrower
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 SAtk/108 SDef/148 Spe
Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Scrappy

What about pokes to fill in the party?
I gave you 4 Pokemon you could add to your party in my first post. Those ones not appealing, or did you forget?

Oh, ok. Here's a couple of other options for ya then:

-Vaporeon w/Leftovers or Lum Berry
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP, 248 Defense, 8 Sp.Defense
Moves: Scald, Wish, Protect, Toxic/Ice Beam

-Skarmory w/Leftovers

I've added a Mamoswine which I got yesterday (Adamant, 6 IV)

It has Maxed Speed and Attack with some points in HP

- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Icicle crash
- Ice share

Stone Edge is better than Stealth Rocks on Mamoswine. Yeah, 110/80/60 bulk isn't that bad, but when you have a poor defensive typing like Ground/Ice, its better not to eat up a turn dropping rocks on the field (IDK why Smogon recommends sets with SR for Mamoswine). Leave entry hazards to someone else.

Actually, Mamoswine has a niche as a Stealth Rock user: setting up the hazard can't be blocked by Taunt thanks to Oblivious:
-Stealth Rock
-Earthquake
-Ice Shard
-Endeavor
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Oblivious

Still don't see the point when there's plenty of other good hazard setters and Thick Fat helps Mamo deal with its weaknesses.

But hey, if you wanna use it, Indoor Shades, go ahead.

Where can I go about teaching my mamoswine endeavor? I can't seem to find a move tutor that does.
I think I'll change Goodra's moveset to what you suggested me. Is it okay to have Gooey and Assault vest?

X and Y are sorely lacking in move tutors. Endeavor is a Black2/White2 move tutor move for Mamoswine.

Is there a substitute move for it? I'm not really bothered to breed it because the IVs passed down are random and it's also shiny haha x3
Going with your current Mamoswine set is okay because Mamoswine can force switches with its good STAB coverage, giving it enough time to set up Stealth Rock.

Hey, I was recently able to obtain a Chandelure and a Ponyta with Good IV'S

I was wondering what a good spread and moveset would be for them :P?
Sorry for the newb questions D:

Nah, its ok. We're happy to help people. :)

-Chandelure w/Choice Specs or Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid (Specs)/Modest(Scarf)
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves: Fire Blast/Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, Hidden Power Fighting/Ground

-Rapidash w/Life Orb or Choice Band
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
Moves: Flare Blitz, Megahorn, Wild Charge, Low Kick

You could use a Life Orb on Chandy if you want it to be able to switch moves. If you have Black2/White2, Drill Run is an option for Rapidash.

While I can vouch for Chandelure, the same can't be said for Rapidash. While its move pool has certainly improved over the generations, it's still outclassed by a lot of Fire Pokemon (even Arcanine, which no one uses in Gen VI OU).

Hmm okay then I'll go with chandelure I guess but will probably use Rapidash from time to time. Should I keep Both gengar and chandelure on or should I have them on one at a time?

I'll consider your moveset zekrom.

Oh I also was able to obtain a Vulpix recently, it's level 63 now EV trained and evolved. I have Nastyplot, Solar beam, Flame thrower and hypnosis at the moment with Drought and left overs on. Is that good?
