Does anyone elses teams seem to have hot and cold days? What I mean by that is Does your team seem to win like it should one day and the next they couldnt win to save their lives? I seem to be going thru that with each team I put together

Team match-ups play a major role in competitive Pokemon. Sometimes the outcome of the battle will depend on what your team is and how well it does against the opposing team. There are numerous factors that come into team match-ups, due to the sheer unpredictability of Pokemon nowadays. Naturally, you can't prepare for everything, but the least you can do is prepare for the most common threats to prevent the likelihood of you losing.

There was one time where I skyrocketed up the ladder because of ten wins in a row. Then the next day I was back down because I lost five times in a row.

In other words, there seem to be days where everything goes right, and then there's days where nothing goes the way you want. I just don't play if it's one of the latter days. I think it's all in your head though. Like what Wolf said, it's all about team matchups and your team could be the best team in the world and it still won't win 100% of the time. The trick is to stay positive and level headed no matter how well or poorly you're doing. If you can do that, I don't those days would really exist.

Wolf and Slayr make very good points in their posts.

Whether you win or lose a match, i agree it is best to keep a level head. Furthermore, take each win and loss as a learning experience. Wins can really show you what you are doing right in a match, thus showing you what you can do in future matches to have more success competitively. On the flipside of this losses can teach you what you are doing wrong in a match so that you can avoid the same mistakes in matches in the future.
I may be bad, but i'm perfectly good at it.

Definitely. It happens all the time to me. And sometimes in the same day. I'll have one match where I'll pwn the other guy, then in the next battle, its the opposite. I'm pretty sure it happens to everyone.
