General Rules (all subject to change/update depending on various factors)
- Battles will be conducted
on the PC Battle Server, via Wifi and will consequently follow PC's
General Battle Rules. (Essentially standard OU singles 6v6)
- Gym Leaders and E4 will report all outcomes of battles. In case of any discrepancies, save Battle Logs.
- Elite Four are only accessible to those who have beaten all of the Gym Leaders, and can be challenged in any order. A champion will be declared to the
first challenger to defeat all four Elite Four
in a row. All subsequent challengers who defeat the Elite Four in a row will be able to face the Champion. If a Champion is defeated, he/she will be replaced.
Challengers
- Challengers may challenge Gym Leaders in any order.
- The number of challenges per day is not limited by the General Rules, but any Gym Leader/E4 may refuse a challenge, whether it be due to frequency or any other reason. They may limit the number of times you can challenge them per day, etc.
- This will not be enforced, but try not to change up your team just to cover a Gym Leaders weaknesses. Start off with a balanced team to begin with, and if you find yourself struggling, make accommodations as necessary.
- Upon facing the E4, you may not change your team, as these battles are consecutive.
Gym Leaders (+E4)
- Gym Leader applicants will undergo a testing process. All applicants will engage in battles with each other (number of battles to be determined by # of applicants), and based on a point system, 8 Gym Leaders will be chosen and 4 Elite Four members out of the pool of applicants (number of applicants chosen may be reduced if twelve applications are not received).
- Each Gym Leader must select a type upon application and should adhere to that type as best as they can. Upon Gym Leader and E4 selection, only one of each type will be selected, so before applying, check to see which types have been chosen, or if you decide to double up, just don't lose. Since each applicant will have a specific type and you do not know what type you will matched up against, try to diversify your team as best as possible. I cannot make it any fairer than random matchups.
- You have the right to limit the number of times a challenger challenges you in one day, and also have the right to deny/postpone a challenge due to time constraints, etc.
- You can change your team, but I don't advise you to scrap an entire team, especially one that just got you through the application process.
