Additional Rule: Since SacredGold isn't completely Moemon yet (hope it will be eventually o^o) I'm only gonna use fire Moemon and not Pokemon in it.

Edit Fire Red update:
Spoiler:
- I picked the Female player and named myself Felix. Then I picked up Charmander as my starter and named her Julia. Beat up my rival Lucy (names are inside jokes ^^;;) then went and retrieved Oak's package. The annoying part of the challenge would be that I wouldn't get another fire type until after the 3rd gym :x

- I got through Viridian Forest and Julia was a Charmeleon so I Metal Clawed my way through Brock and got the Boulderbadge yay! Went through Mt. Moon (the pain! QQ) and taught Julia Mega Punch from that one guy.

- When I got to Cerulean, I went up to Bill first to get some extra training in before taking on Misty. Beat up Lucy again and the Nugget Bridge people. Went back down to challenge Misty with my sole fire type Pokemon like it was a good idea. Lucky for me Julia could ohko Misty's Staryu with Mega Punch and ended up two shotting Starmie because of a Mega Punch crit yay! Got the Cascadebadge and moved on.

- Went down to the Day Care and tried to put Julia in to see what would happen but he wouldn't accept her :x

- Cleared out S.S. Anne when I got to Vermillion and beat up Lucy again. Then I cleared out Lt. Surge's gym with Flamethrower spam eheh. Went back to Cerulean and went through Rock Tunnel without Flash (which at this point, after replaying a ton, I had half memorized the layout already if that counts as cheating ^^;).

- I got to Lavender then went to Route 8. Route 8, my savior from the solo Pokemon challenge! Picked up Growlithe which I named Yixin and then went to Celadon. Picked up Eevee which I named Oliver from Celadon Mansion and the Tea from the nice old lady. Bought two fire stones from the department store and evolved Eevee.

- I easily burned Erika's gym to the ground and opened the Rocket hideout though I haven't gone in yet. Instead I went to Saffron with the Tea and cleared out the Fighting Dojo for training. And that's where I left off.

TL;DR I got to the Elite Four

The not tl;dr:
Spoiler:
-Got through the Rocket Hideout, got the Silph Scope, and went through Lavender Town Pokemon Tower to rescue Mr. Fuji. He gave me the Poke Flute so I could wake Snorlax up.

-Went down to Fuchsia with the new Poke Flute and beat Koga. I also picked up Surf and Strength from the Safari Zone. Also caught a Chansey cause I've never met one before in the Safari Zone and she turned out to be holding a Lucky Egg too! o3o

-Surfed over to the Seafoam Islands then decided to go the shorter way to Cinnabar by flying to Pallet Town and Surfing down.

-Went through Cinnabar Mansion, then took out Blaine in his gym.

-Forced to go to One Two and Three Islands but caught a Jeff the Ponyta and Thejas the Moltres while I was at Mt. Ember. Saved Lostelle and went back to Cinnabar.

-Eventually had to go the Saffron and clear out the Silph Co. building. Beat up Giovanni and Lucy, then took down Sabrina in her gym.

-Went to Viridian and took down Giovanni and Lucy again before getting through Victory Road.

-Currently I am right in front of the Elite Four and about to fightttttt o3o

After taking the ferry to Castelia, I spent some time training in the sewer. I caught myself a Zubat, which I wasn't initially planning on using, but the first one I caught was Adamant, so I figured what the hell. Spent some time grinding, evolved Zubat, then challenged and defeated Burgh. Moving on

Hope it's okay to start posting updates already?

Forgot to mention the Battle Style is on 'Set' mode.

- Chose Bulbasaur because it was the closest and then tackled the Blue's Charmander until it submitted. In hindsight giving him Charmander may not have been wise.
- Caught Steve the Ratata (late game HM Slave maybe) and The Word the Pidgey, and relegated Bulbasaur to the Box of Despair.
- Grinded the aforementioned Pokemon Go infestations until they were respectable levels on Route 1.
- First Badge Brock naturally took a few attempts. The Word first threw sand into the Geodude's eyes until it could take no more than used Gust twenty times until it fainted. Got one Sand Attack in before Onix's Rock Tomb crippled my bird. Steve then quick attacked all it could and chugged down potions whenever Rock Tomb was used.
- Went through Mt Moon, caught myself Failry the Clefairy. The Word also got more handsome on the way.
- Forgot Blue came on the way to the Nugget bridge and nearly got demolished but the handsomeness of The Word pulled through.
- Second Badge Failry slapped Misty's Staryu and Starmie after singing to them.
- Steve got bigger and sweeped Blue's team with Hyper Fang. Never realised how strong this move actually is early on.
- Third Badge Steve much too strong. Sweeped Lt. Surge like he was nothing.
- Failry made Rock Tunnel trivial via its ability to learn Water Pulse. Becoming my best Pokemon currently. I was worried about rock Pokemon initially but not any more.
- Fourth Badge The Word had a swift word with Erika.
- Rescued the Silph Scope. The mighty Steve with samuari-like Cut sliced into the grunts and ironic Failry with Brick Break and Water Pulse dealt with Giovanni

Ultimate Fire Platinum - Update 3 - Final Update

Hey, I'm not dead! Well, Garchomp is ;). It has taken me waaayyy too long to finish this one up, and for way too many reasons. Other than life, (which is too long to summarize) I had a lot of trouble getting past the Earthquake machine that is Bertha. After grinding a lot, dropping my ds a few times, and buying the vertually infinite amount of revives, I was able to make it to Cynthia. I had to revive until Dragon Rush and Earthquake were out of pp, then it was pretty much over. 3 down, 3 (4?) to go!

Well, being a Team Rocket's member, Poison seems the right type to use.

EDIT:

Begining the game.
Beautiful intro screen. Chose Bulbasaur (it's a poison type anyway) and named it Venom.
Caught a weedle. I'm not sure if I can write the name I gave him in this forum. It begins with yao.
Got my first badge!
Yao... evolved to Kakuna.

Alright, since Mt. Moon I have beaten Cerulean City gym with my wartortle, Bite was a HUGE help. I have also traveled to Vermilion city, got HM01, and finally caught our second pokemon, Magikarp. I trained it up and beaten Lt. Surge in a very hard battle with gyarados and wartortle. His Raichu with Double Team was the absolute bane of me, but thankfully, the one revive I had in my bag came in handy. Got lucky with 3 bites and won. Currently in the process of getting Flash. Update later tonight.

- Met the Rival in the spooky tower. His Pokemon were 10 levels lower than mine so they easily defeated. Got the Poke Flute and The Word reached its maximum peak of handsomeness. Played the flute and added Yawn the Snorlax to my party.
- Went to Safari Park. Caught two Exeggcutes by accident and placed them in the Box of Despair. Retrieved the Golden Teeth and the surf TM. Went on the hunt for some normal Pokemon from the Safari, expecting to be frustrated. To my shock, got Lucky the Chansey very quickly. Unfortunately, that was offset by a cowardly Tauros that kept running away from me, so I had to change tactics.
- Fifth Badge Caught a Horsea to use as my boat since none of my Pokemon could learn it and demolished Koga's gym.
- Went back to Safari and surfed to Area 3 and stayed there until I got something other than Chansey since I don't really need a special defensive wall. Eventually got Coward the Tauros and Australia the Kangaskhan
- Went to Saffron to train my new- I mean, to defeat Team Rocket. Did so easily enough.
- Sixth Badge Showed Sabrina that is brawn is greater than brains.
- Went the quick way to Cinnabar Island. Ain't no one got time for those ice caves. Failry and I flailed around some abandoned mansion until we found a key for a completely different building.
- Seventh Badge Blaine took down five of my Pokemon. Props to him. Too bad Snorlax is too fat.
- Refused to go with Bill because it's just a waste of time. Flew straight to Viridian to defeat the SUPER SECRET GYM LEADER.
- Eighth Badge SUPER SECRET GYM LEADER took down 4 of my Pokemon but Steve is too fast and strong. Failry finally learned Meteor Mash so I stuffed a moonstone down its throat to forcibly evolve it into the mightiest of fables.
- Forgot the Rival came and this time I actually got smashed because Rhyhorn somehow got off a horn drill on my Snorlax and I didn't have Steve with me as I swapped him out for my surfer. Round Two did not go in his favour however because Charizard is too fat.
- Took a bit of a detour on the way to Victory Road to go train the underlevelled Coward and Australia on some trainers I did not battle, otherwise they would just be fodder to the Elite Foursome.

Haven't been on Pokecommunity in ages! Had a message that was six months old. Sorry about that Necrum. :P

I don't have Pokemon X anymore, so you can feel free to remove it from the challenge list. I only own Red now, so I'm going to do some challenge runs on it. The poison run I did originally was very fun. This run will give me an excuse to take Flareon AND Charizard! \O/

I'll also be playing on "Set"

Question! Once Gen 7 arrives, will this thread be changed to a new one? If so, should I just wait until the 18th when the new thread starts? Also, I'm wondering if our victories carry over to the new thread? I'd be okay with having a fresh start in the new thread since I only did a couple of runs, and I would actually enjoy doing the poison type challenge again for Red.

5. After having access to Waterfall, did a lot of backtracking to get some more key TMs.
6. Cleared the Pokemon League.
7. Cleared the E4 in this order: Wikstrom, Siebold, Drasna, and Malva. None really gave my team much difficulty. Hawlucha kept on dying but that was just me wanting to get a +6 Power-up Punch on everybody.
8. Managed to set-up on Diantha's Hawlucha with a +3 Attack Hawlucha myself. Rock Tomb helped in defeating it. Set-up on the Goodra again, bringing Hawlucha to +6 and it just destroyed Diantha.
9. AZ sucks big time. Again, Hawlucha did most of the work.

Spoiler:
I defeated Wattson easily with Marshtomp. Mocha is truely the MVP. Before Wattson I caught a Wingull, Marill and Tentacool. Coco the Wingull turned into a Pelipper. Thankfully, Ram the Marill quickly became a Azumarill so I got a fairy type! Next stop, Fallarbor Town!
