Whether you purchase video games online or in-store, how often do you tend to run into special offers? What kind offers are they, usually? Do you snatch up on them as soon as you can, or just pass? What's the most recent offer that you've gotten? What game(s) were you trying to buy?

I don't usually run into overly special offers, I basically just pick stuff up if I see it and it really interests me. Not often do I end up turning stuff in to GameStop to get special deals or anything.

Haha, Steam sales. The only time I bought games from steam was during last year's summer sale and I hoarded 12 games for ~$40. To this date, I haven't played many of them because I switched OS systems...Was really looking forward to playing Final Fantasy VII too :( Other than that, I'm not a big fan of special offers in-store, unless you consider free upgrading when people pre-order a game one...

Most of the time, it's rare that I'll buy something full price, and (often in the case of PC games and increasingly with Sony and Nintendo titles), I'll wait for offers and deals before considering it.

I rarely ever pay full price for games. It has to be something I really want to play day one for me to not wait for a sale or a price drop. I keep an eye on CheapAssGamer for sales and if I find something compelling, I'll go check it out. I've gotten a few good deals in the past couple months - BioShock Infinite from Gamefly's PC store for $7, then got the Season Pass for $5 during the Steam sale. I also picked up Pokemon X a few weeks ago from Amazon Warehouse for $23 - pretty much brand new but it was just missing the shrinkwrap.

Overall though, even though I have a pretty massive game collection, I've only paid a fraction of what the actual cost of all those games would have been over the years.

I usually wait for sales to buy games, Pretty much everything I own on steam was either bought during a sale or given to me as a gift. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm buying every single game that's on sale, I usually just wait for the games I want to drop in price.
There used to be a link to an Imageshack picture here. Lmao.

Pretty much everytime? =D
I'm not into buying games for full price or preordering games when I know that sometimes in future, there will be a sale.
I pretty much only buy games when they are in sale (either on virtual store or real store).
On the other hand, I hate them, my poor wallet won't hold if every month gets a sale =D
