Which region you would start in?
Wherever my parents raised me, probably. :P But if I can choose- Hoenn, most certainly. Lovely climate, an array of my favourite locations and Pokémon, and so much water, yay. <3
What would your trainer outfit be like?
Comfortable and practical. I would go for jeans and a cute but simple t-shirt with sturdy, weatherproof shoes. Good footwear is hecka important. I'd also keep a long but lightweight rain jacket with me. And I know I can hike pretty well with a small hiking pack so I'd be comfortable taking that so I'd be able to keep enough stuff with me. I'm overcautious with packing, haha.
What pokemon would you start out with on your journey?
Going with starters, I'd take Torchic. Even though my ideal professions in PokéWorld always somehow involve me working with boats, I'd still have to take Torchic. They've always been reliable companions to me.
If not a starter, I'd go with Azurill/Marill. I have an affinity for Water types and, like I said, a weird fascination with boating. They'd be helpful in a water-based profession and also have been reliable partners for me.
What kinds of pokemon you would catch and train?
Aside from the two mentioned, I'd definitely get a Mightyena and Breloom. I love them so much. <3
Others could potentially include Swellow, Crobat, Pelliper, Tropius, Roserade, Wailord, and Lanturn. I can't decide on a flier ack. @
[email protected] I'd like something that could carry me outside of game magic but they're all so fun.
Would you battle in pokemon gyms, or pokemon contests?
I'd probably do a bit of both. I like battling a lot, but I also like the technicality and presentation of contests. Why not do both if I have that sort of opportunity?
Would you travel to other regions? (if so, which ones?)
I might, but probably only to do a few contests or go on vacation. I'd probably settle down in Hoenn and run a ferry service.
Would continue to use the same Pokemon from your first region party for other regions? (If not, what new Pokemon you would catch?)
Yeah, I think so. They're my friends and I'd know how to bring out their potential by them. And besides, I'd probably not be very good at rotation. And I don't want anyone to feel left out.
What do you think your rival(s) would be like?
I'm sure we'd actually be friends who are competitors. Tbh the only way I'd have a rival is if we were friends beforehand or met and became friends and decided to compete. I'm not really one to attract angry people to me. xD;
Would you have any travel companions?
Sure! Would get lonely otherwise. I might not have one or two permanent companions, though- I feel like I'm more likely to meet people along the way who happen to be going in the same direction I am for a while. And then we'd part ways after a few weeks or months.
Would you run into and try to stop evil teams such as Team Rocket? (or any evil organization you would prefer)
I'd try to help if people were in trouble, but I wouldn't go seek them out.
Would you travel often?
BOATS + HOENN = YES
Would you trade any of your pokemon?
Only if they wanted to do other things and I wasn't providing them with a life they were content with.
What sort of strategies would you use in terms of battling or contests? (either or)
Battle: speed, power, and type advantages.
Contests: Precision, unique stylistic choices, and impact.
does that even make sense
What would you hope to accomplish during your journey?
Personal growth. Valuable experiences. Exercise. Qualifying for a League and a Grand Festival. Making friends. Finding something I'd be truly happy to do for the rest of my life.
