Let's Go On a Fossil Hunt!

Soooo... imagine your an archaeologist, and you've discovered something underground. Turn it over... and you find that it's a fossil! In fact, its your favourite type of fossil, that is the spirit of your favourite fossil pokemon!

* What fossil Pokemon is it? (remember it's your favorite one)
* A few hours before you found your fossil you were told about a scientist who recently discovered how to revive fossils. Would you seek that person out to revive your Pokemon fossil or not?

This a list of all of the fossils:

Helix Fossil - Omanyte → Omastar
Dome Fossil - Kabuto → Kabutops
Old Amber - Aerodactyl
Root Fossil - Lileep → Cradily
Claw Fossil - Anorith → Armaldo
Skull Fossil - Cranidos → Rampardos
Armor Fossil - Shieldon → Bastiodon
Cover Fossil - Tirtouga → Carracosta
Plume Fossil - Archen → Archeops
Jaw Fossil - Tyrunt → Tyrantrum
Sail Fossil - Amaura → Aurorus

It'd definitely be Sail, as I'm just a huge fan of Aurorus line. My second choice, though, would probably be either Jaw or Old Amber. If I were given the chance to revive it, I'd snatch up on the offer as soon as I possibly can. I mean, who wouldn't? xD" If it were real life, you would be one of the first people to ever discover Pokémon.

I also like the Sail Fossil. Amaura and Aurorus just stand out compared to their other fossil counterparts. I'm also starting to like Archen and Archeops, but would probably still go with the former. And I would go revive it, it'd be nice to own a dinosaur Pokemon.

THE HOLY HELIX OF COURSE

no, I'd want it to be Cover fossil or Old Amber, because even though I often have a hard time choosing my favorites out of all these cool fossil pokémon, I always loved Aerodactyl in the PokéSpe manga and wouldn't hesitate to revive one and have it for myself. And Carracosta is like a cooler Blastoise - win. I'd also be pretty happy if it was the Plume fossil though, as I liked both of Unova's fossils. Archeops is a cool, ancient contrast to Aerodactyl.

almighty helix

The Sail fossil. I adore Aurorus more than any other fossil pokemon, though I do like a few others. But Sail fossil is definitely my favorite. ^.^

Oh and of course I'd revive it! I'd love training up an Amaura and eventually riding on the back of an elegant and beautiful Aurorus.

Skull fossil all the way. Rampardos and cranidos are some of my favorite pokemon, though I have never had one. They look super cool also. I had a pokemkn card of Rampardos when I was a kid, and I lost it. I think that is why it is one of my favorite pokemon.

THE HELIX FOSSIL OF COURSE. PRAISE LORD HELIX.

In all seriousness though, Twitch Plays Pokemon (if you don't already, you won't be disappointed. It need more people in there right now anyways. ) has made me appreciate Omanyte and Omastar much more. Omanyte's actually really cute lol. (No really. It is. Look. ) So I'd like go with a Helix Fossil tbh. That or a Jaw Fossil because Tyrantrum is honestly the most beast of the fossil Pokemon. (next to the Helix Fossil duh, I'm not betraying Lord Helix.) I mean how isn't a T-Rex Pokemon not cool?

You know, I love most of the newer fossils designs, but I never got to try them out! So for the sake of battling and stuff, I gotta go with the Dome Fossil. I love Kabutops.

Definitely would want to discover a Sail Fossil. I extensively used Amaura/Aurorus as one of my main Pokemons in X and it proved to be quite the tank against the majority of enemies. Also helps that it's one of most adorable ones ever~

This is so hard, I love all of the fossil pokemon. I think though, that I'd probably go for the Old Amber. There's just something about Aerodactyl, even though it hasn't got the highest BST (when not mega-evolved) any more it's still the most majestic and fierce, definitely the king of the fossils.

Mine would be the dome fossil. I've always really loved Kabutops, it's so cool. :D However, I don't think I would actually want one myself because they are also kind of scary. I'd probably get it revived, if I knew it was guaranteed, and then donate it to a zoo.

Why is everyone so obsessed with the Helix fossil?

I don't get the appeal either haha. I like the Root Fossil and the Sail Fossil. And I'd totally go to that scientist and get them revived ASAP xD Cradily is my favorite fossil Pokemon, and Aurorus is a very close second.

I didn't play until gen 4, maybe there is something I missed? Omanyte does look pretty awesome, though. I like the old amber too, if that counts. All fossil pokemon look really amazing, now that I think about it.

Oh Lord Helix, please forgive these poor, misguided souls for their ignorance. They will soon understand the error of their ways an-

...I mean, I take it you guys didn't follow along with Twitch Plays Pokemon? This page might explain things a little bit to catch you up to speed.

As for myself, I'd hope to run in to a Sail or Plume Fossil only if I couldn't find a Helix Fossil, your Almighty. Both Aurorus and Archeops are two of my favorite fossil Pokemon that I've used, and if I had the opportunity, and go and get either one revived right away.

Old amber, definitely. It's the first fossil pokemon that I ever raised fully to 100 (thanks Pokemon Special for the inspiration)

Old Amber is best obviously. Besides for that, Gen 6 is the best generation for fossils. Two amazing Pokémon came out, I'm very pleased. As for making a fossil team I would want all obvious Dinosaurs, Aerodactyl, Tyrantrum, Aurorus, Rampardos.

Problem starts there. Those are the only obvious Dinosaurs. Shieldon is supposed to be a Triceratops I've heard but I just don't see it. I mean I can see the similarities but it's just not good enough for me. Maybe I can complete the fossil team next Gen.

Who wouldn't revive them?
