Oh, I've never done a surprise party. That's bound to be a blast, though. I'm actually doing a road trip this weekend with my boyfriend. We're going to visit some of his friends. :<
Why is that :< worthy?! It sounds amazing. Today my boyfriend and I were feeling up to it so we skipped classes to take a road trip 1.5 hours away just to visit a hobby shop and get some rare paint. Road trips are great!

I actually use :< out of habit. I'm not actually making a sad expression, it's just kind of a habit I developed from chatting with people in the LIVE! Chat. :

That sounds incredible! I'm actually really jealous of that. It's really cool how you two share a hobby like that and will go to great lengths just to reach it. It says something about the relationship between you two.

That sounds superb! I love skipping classes but skipping to go on road trips would make it all the better.

While I think it's a pretty good bonding moment, I'd never do it personally :/

Skipping class for a road trip isn't me. D8 I don't think i've ever purposely missed a class before, ever. Earlier in the month, my reading class was going on a trip to the Holocaust museum to learn some things because the focus there is on the Holocaust, but I didn't go because I had Spanish and another class to juggle with. Skipping classes, probably my biggest vice :x
Any particular reason why? I love doing it whenever I get the chance. Although it more often than not just happens because I don't want to get out of my comfy bed...the winters in Boston are brutal, what can I say /:

Oh for some impression I was thinking you didn't like to skip classes xD Oh well. How is your school year set up? Just asking because a lot of schools in America are in finals stride right now, and will probably be finished up in the next month or so.

damn you and your smarticals

The other day I realized I hadn't written a paper for a class of mine and the due date had passed, because the teacher emailed me assuming a technical glitch asking me to resend my paper. So I drunkenly wrote a 6 page paper in a few hours...A-. I am clearly the best student ever.

That sounds incredible! I'm actually really jealous of that. It's really cool how you two share a hobby like that and will go to great lengths just to reach it. It says something about the relationship between you two.
It's actually an imported hobby on my part, he liked model-building first and I'm gaining an interest in it through his enthusiasm. I'm pretty excited to get a badass looking Ball though.

I just remembered that yesterday was Armenian genocide memorial day...
(If anybody doesn't know what that one was, in World War 1 almost 1.5 million Armenians died because of massacres or death marches under the control of the Ottoman Empire, however, Turkey itself thinks that there has never been a genocide and they all just died because of bad circumstances, so even nowadays it's something the people over there argue about)

Got a surprise birthday party planned for my ex and it's quite possibly the most stressful thing ever. Not managing another surprise party ever. Ugh.
Dipu, if you keep being this good an ex boyfriend, people are just gonna keep breaking up with you to get the same treatment.

To be honest, I'd only skip a class if it was on something we already covered or something I already knew, which hasn't happened at all for me :s but also because I'd have nothing to do at the same time if I skipped class.

I rarely skipped class in high school. Sure, I might've finished work early and left it, but skip? Nah.

College was a different story after my life got complicated. Suddenly skipping was a relief :B

Sigh, y'all, I don't wanna get out of bed n_n

I'd rather not skip considering the consequences of doing so (losing my computer), especially considering I don't have a working phone and my only music source is my DS. :P

Yesterday I wrote a big paper out of nothing comparing and contrasting Ay-Dolph Hitlurr and Burrito Mousseolini, with zero prior knowledge and only a grabber + thesis written beforehand. I think I did rather well, although I went to the teacher two times for info (what Mousseolini did to take charge, and the background for his rise to power), since I was totally like skipping on the days they covered him and only got info on the latter dictator.

I never skipped a single class so far for multiple reasons:
-I can't afford it, I'd probably miss important things
-skipping one single individual class is redundant as there is nowhere else where I could go (as my school is not in the town I live in)
-being relevant to the second thing, skipping would only make sense if I'd skip the entire day and stay home or whatever

What sucks for me is that I have the ability to simply walk out of my school because we have outdoor sidewalks (and not a soul is there to stop you), not to mention I live less than two miles from my school and can simply walk home at any time. My mother thinks otherwise, though. :<

The reason being is because they phone home if you were marked absent so you'd get caught eventually and my parents are pretty strict about school and would kill me if they found me skipping.
That's how I am right now. If I left school grounds during school, they'd phone my house, my mum stays at home all the time, so she'd get it nearly immediately...my family's extremely strict when it comes to my education, if they found out I ditched it for even a minute, I'd probably get shot in the knees and forced to crawl everywhere.

I didn't like school last year, due to my class being filled with idiots. I wanted to leave, but knowing the consequences for ditching...I chose to endure a year of hell.

I couldn't wait to get out of high school, xD For mine, the grade nines and tens were pretty dumb and were all like "smoke weed everyday! We're so cool! YEAH!"

Grade eleven it got a little better and then grade twelve was the best year, even though all of us wanted out. xD Four years went by pretty fast but I wouldn't have wanted it any longer.

There is never a reason to leave bed.

Skipping is just too easy for most of my classes. There is one where I get 2% off my final grade every time I miss, but that's because it's a 3 hour long studio design course.

In my courses, I really don't miss much if I skip one class. Our teacher practically reads aloud from the course literature O.o
