Not necessarily. Publishers and Developers often trademark names that have no bearing on whether they'll actually release a game. Sometimes they do it for protection from third parties swiping it, other times they do it for safe keeping, and so on and so forth. Many times you'll see names trademarked and the games in question are never released or, if they are, they're games with different names released/announced years later. Pretty sure GF has various other titles Trademarked for one of the aforementioned reasons.
But eh, I dunno what I'll pick. Barring the accumulative time I have hacking Ruby, I originally only played Emerald. I've never beaten Ruby, either; don't really know the symantec differences other than the major ones you can find on Bulba. So, in this case, I'll probably go where the boobs are. Pokemon never did have many major female characters.
Or Inazuma Eleven, but that's unrelated. Anyway, I probs won't be getting it at launch, so I'll have time to think.
Also, on another note, started rewatching Kill la Kill. Really enjoying myself, this time.
