Do you use a back pack for school? I dont? Whats to like about backpacks? They are huge, you can carry all your books by hand. Thats what i do anyways.

I carry my backpack around at school. Considering the amount of books and things I have, it would be hard to carry them any other way. @[email protected];;

I carry my big, yellow-ish, orange-ish backpack to class... I hate it. X.o() That's why I carry my manga supplies in my Cinnamoroll handbag to anime class. =3 (My textbooks won't fit in it. ())

Man, if I had to carry all my books, papers, clarinet and assorted junk on the bus, on the train and then walk with it...I'd be dead. Seriously. And schools that don't allow backpacks need new administration. Back problems my arse. You get back problems bumping into people and dropping all your crap. So in conclusion, backpacks rule all. Maybe the ten-pound high school textbooks sway my opinion, but whatever.

an appallingly generous gift from Forest Grovyle, thank you again

Yes I use a backpack well it isn't really a backpack because I have one of those rollaround ones this year I finally had to get one of those because for the past four years I had a one you carry and it was starting to hurt my back so i had to resort to a rollaround backpack oh the humiliation of it and I'm in 8th grade.

I feel so jealous of people who are homeschooled ;_;

I carry my crap-brown backpack to school, its heavy, yes, but I prefer it than a binder.. I don't like carrying stuff, I end up dropping them, then students kick my arse.. >_<;

Nope, I am homeschooled after all. Pretty pointless.
Oh! Same here... Only I take a few classes in a private school, which is why I need the ugly backpack. ()

I use my backpack to and from school. I don't use it in school, though. I have to use one most of the time because teachers are so unaware of how heavy, big, and fat their textbooks ARE!

Well, i've got to carry a Backpack to school, because of how heavy all my school books and binders are, it's a pain.

If I ever knew it was possible to wake up one morning and find the sweetest, most beautiful woman...I would've wanted to wake up a lot sooner.... Smart, sensible, pretty, funny, kind...are words that aren't close enough to describing just how perfect she truly is. Her cute smile, her warm auburn hair and her pale ice blue eyes, add to the beauty of her terrific personality.But most of all, she cares for me too; thats why I wear my best smile every day..."

Ehhh... I don't know. =P In our Taiwan school, no. Our school doesn't allow backpacks, only bookbags with the school's seal on it... -_- and we don't have to carry textbooks around since our schoolbooks are paper-covered and light. =P And we have most of our classes in our classroom anyway. =P

To carry a bio text book, chemistry text book, LA novels/binder, science binder(s), math text book, french binder+textbook plus some other stuff for "options" up and down 20 flights of stairs a day is rather deadly without a backpack... so my answer-> backpack.

Backpack for me. I used to carry around my binder outside of my backpack, but when I got a backpack that had 2 large storage areas, I moved all of my folders into the one storage area, and my binder now rests in the other... I use it as a back support, plus it keeps my folder of drawings and extra paper from getting messed up. Other than that though, I never even touch it. It doesn't even have anything in it, really...
Also, I need a backpack, because I always bring my CD player and (BIG) headphones to school with me, and they have to be out of sight when I'm in the hallways. So, I can't carry them around with me. Plus I have little things, like spare leads, erasers, and pencils with me... and a piece of sandpaper, lol... All of that goes into my smallest pocket, which is still big enough to just fit a normal size schoolbook. I keep another CD player with me, as well as a small case of CDs... but those go into side pockets on my backpack. Oh, and I have a flap on the back where I keep my everyday pencil, fancy ballpoint, and 4-color pen... I also keep my calculator in there (since it has 3 pencil/pen size slots, and a big calculator sized one) and I keep my straightedge (basically a ruler with no markings) behind my calculator... If I can find a relatively thin pencilbox, I would also bring my felt-tip inking-quality pen and crummy Crayola colored pencils.
In the big pocket where I stuff everything, I have my Geometry book (very thick), and all of my folders, which are overstuffed from all the papers I get at school. I also have 2 note books, one of which is completely filled with Geometry notes, the other I had to start since my first one was full.
Lots of stuff, and when I get library books, it can be a total PITB (Pain In The Butt) to haul around...
Oh, and there's my coat, but I wear that between classes... Sometimes, I'll hang it over my arm. Try carrying all that without a backpack!!

I would use my locker, but its totally out of the way from all of my classes, and I don't have a lock for it anyway. Besides, I hate lockers.

I have returned!
From a rather long hiatus, might I add... *looks around*
