I just made a very defensive team, with two variations (I just switched one pokemon). First off, here is my team:

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Sassy nature (+SpD, -Spe)
- Toxic Spikes
- Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Payback

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 244 HP / 220 Spe / 32 SpA / 12 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Torment
- Protect
- Lava Plume

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP / 248 Def / 24 Spe
Impish nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
- Spore

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 184 SpD / 76 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic

-=-= After this point, the team becomes experimental support pokemon. This needs changing.=-=-

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm nature (+SpD, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic
- Flamethrower

Here comes in the variations. Basically, it's either Vaporeon or Steelix

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Scald
- Roar

Steelix @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 SpD
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Sp)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Roar

Whenever I try to use this team, it works amazingly /sometimes/. Other times, it just dies on the field. The pattern I've noticed is that whenever a team pulls a sweeper, mine cripples.

What do you guys think I should do to change it?

Right now your team has a weakness to Fighting types. Zapdos resists fighting type moves, but its defense isn't that great. A supportive Sylveon would be a good addition to your team:

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pixilate
EV's: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
-Wish
-Protect
-Moonblast
-Aromatherapy
Paired with Dragon and Koakuma

You might need a sweeper of your own.

Forretress just doesn't seem to cut it this gen because of how it's easy setup bait. Use Ferrothorn instead:
-Leech Seed
-Protect
-Power Whip/Gyro Ball
-Stealth Rock/Thunder Wave/Gyro Ball
Nature: Relaxed/Impish
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SDef
Item: Leftovers/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs

or
-Stealth Rock/Spikes
-Leech Seed
-Gyro Ball/Thunder Wave
-Power Whip/Protect
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/48 Def/208 SDef
Item: Leftovers/Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs

Zapdos should use Defog to clear away opposing hazards (including yours, sadly):
-Thunderbolt
-Roost
-Defog
-Heat Wave/Toxic/U-turn
Nature: Bold
EVs: 248 HP/172 Def/68 SAtk/16 Spe
Item: Leftovers

Don't bother with Steelix at all. Mega Aggron does what it can do better thanks to Filter:
-Stealth Rock
-Heavy Slam/Iron Head
-Thunder Wave/Ice Punch
-Earthquake/Rock Slide
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/16 Def/240 SDef
Item: Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy

or
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Heavy Slam/Iron Head
-Earthquake/Ice Punch
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/16 Def/240 SDef
Item: Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy

Offensive Pokemon to consider include Azumarill and Goodra:
-Waterfall
-Aqua Jet
-Play Rough
-Superpower/Knock Off
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 164 HP/252 Atk/92 Spe
Item: Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power

or
-Belly Drum
-Aqua Jet
-Play Rough
-Waterfall/Superpower
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Item: Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power

or
-Aqua Jet
-Play Rough
-Power-Up Punch
-Waterfall/Knock Off
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 16 HP/252 Atk/240 SDef
Item: Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power

Goodra:
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Thunderbolt/Earthquake
-Dragon Tail/Earthquake
Nature: Quiet/Sassy
EVs: 248 HP/252 SAtk/8 SDef
Item: Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper

or
-Draco Meteor
-Fire Blast
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Blast
Nature: Modest
EVs: 248 HP/252 SAtk/8 SDef
Item: Choice Specs
Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper

Ok, so I decided to scrap Heatran and Forretres, and replace them with a good old SkarmBliss. I also replaced Steelix with Sylveon and added Azumarill.
What stayed the same: Blissey (Change of moves), Brelloom, Zapdos (Change of moves)

What changed: Skarmory (In replacement of Steelix/Vaporeon), Sylveon (In replacement of Heatran), Azumarill (In replacement of Forretres)

This is the new team (I copy and pasted the moves from other places because I'm lazy)

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Impish nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 236 HP / 248 Def / 24 Spe
Impish nature (+Def, -SpA)
- Substitute
- Leech Seed
- Focus Punch
- Spore

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 184 SpD / 76 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
-Thunderbolt
-Roost
-Defog
-Heat Wave/U-turn (I can't decide, but I'm leaning towards U-Turn)

Azumarill @ Leftovers
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA) (Moves may need changing)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Ice Punch
- Aqua Jet

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pixilate
EV's: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Yawn (Sylveon doesn't learn Aromatherapy, so I don't know what to put here)

Note: I'd like to get you guys's input before I use this team, so what do you think?

SubPunch Azumarill isn't worth it because it takes prediction to use. And I hope you realize that Azumarill gained the Fairy type in Gen Vi, making it easier to deal with Dragon Pokemon by being immune to their STAB attacks and smacking them supereffectively with its own STAB move, Play Rough. Therefore, there's little reason to use Ice Punch. Refer to the above Azumarill sets I posted for much better alternatives.

If Sylveon has Pixilate, it has to use Hyper Voice, as moves that are already Fairy type are unaffected. Pixilate only affects Normal moves, changing them to Fairy type and powering them up. However, Sylveon does learn Heal Bell, which does the same thing Aromatherapy does:
-Wish
-Protect
-Hyper Voice
-Heal Bell/Calm Mind
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/244 Def/12 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate

Ok. I haven't gotten the Gen VI games yet, so no I didn't realise that Azumarill gained the fairy type. Also, I took your advice, and this is my new moveset for Sylveon:

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Pixilate
EV's: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
- Wish
- Protect
- Hyper Voice <-Does pixilate give this move STAB?
- Heal Bell

Also, I decided to change to your third set for Azumarill. I'm not familiar with Choice Band battling, and I may try belly drum later but it seems like it would require a lot of setup.

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 SpD
-Aqua Jet
-Play Rough
-Power-Up Punch
-Waterfall

What do you think? If anyone else has input, fire away.

Pixilate does indeed give Hyper Voice STAB for Sylveon.
