is it me.. or when i was training my vileplume in cerulean ave yesterday, i used aromatherapy alot and about 4 times (entire time i was trainnig) i saw this glitch screen for a split second during the a-therapy animation. it was like a black screen with big, white 0s and 1s.

and even once, game freezed up when i used my 8th aromatherapy. the music was playing but no controls would work. i was able to soft-reset.

any help on this glitch? thanks.

unfortunately, spp forums is down, thus i joined here.

oh...and i know that you werent commenting on my sig, you 14 year old
You should probably be a tad bit nicer to the people on here. :)

Anyway, I think that, like people said, it's just another one of those glitches that won't hurt your game, but are just there. If it affected your game, then we'd have a different story. :P

speaking of glitches, can you catch poerus in firered/leafgreen and if so does it wear off or spread to team mates and finally, when the fighting the pokemon with pokerus, will it way so or do you hv to catch it first to find oout if it has it or not?

Please, don't double post, but I think I have a solution, ok here it goes: The reason it's doing that is because you've used that move so much, you game has somehow dowloaded it into the moves coding and somehow keeps repeating the coding, chaging it everytime. The numbers you see are the coding rewriting itself to try and continue your game without doing that glitch again. But sometimes your game gets locked on that once you use that too much. Try using a different move from now on or train a different Pokemon. If it happens again, press the B and Up button. It's supossed to help in that situation. I hope that helped.

Umm... Sorry, but the games don't 'rewrite themselves.' (unless under a multiboot, like the berry glitch fix)
It sounds like your game might be corrupt, possibly from damage, or even a botched berry flash. (was this FRLG or RuSa?) Re-flashing firmware can be risky if it goes wrong. It might also be a bootleg. (emu "fixes" tend to break the game in the process)

Wierd! Wasn't expecting zeros and ones to appear on the screen, usually does that in older versions...
Not normal...
-Are your GBA and/or cartridge OK?
-Are the connectors dirty?
-Is your FR/LG original?
-Did anything else strange happen before or did you do anything special before?
-Are you using an emulator?
If not, then it's either a built-in glitch in your cart(kinda doubt it), or a programming bug triggered by a special situation, that no one else has discovered so far.
As for the Thunderbolt glitch, Ice Beam did that once to me...

-Are your GBA and/or cartridge OK?- yes
-Are the connectors dirty?- no
-Is your FR/LG original?- yes
-Did anything else strange happen before or did you do anything special before?- besides the bike glitch on route 1 in the previously done screen, no
-Are you using an emulator?- no

so i guess raising a lv 95-99 vileplume in cerulean cave is considered a glitch. also note that when i fught parasects that when they have used aromatherapy, the glitch never happened.

That what happens when nintendo don't check for bugs or errors on the game
You so silly! :P~~~ Do you know how many errors are in a game in just the first demo they send to their testers? It's hilarious to think that they *Don't* check for bugs on games. :P Trust me. Nintendo has a LOT of testers for their game software. But testers are human, and even if Nintendo used millions of 'em, a bug or two would still slip through eventually. :P Thus the nature of software development in the hands of human beings presents itself. You guys complain about these little bugs, but they're nothing. You should try the bugs I work on. I'm a developer for a government contractor that creates missile defense-related imaging software. Talk about pressure. We have tons of bugs we work on all the time, and so many of them could cause things to go horribly wrong. In your gameboy, the worst that can happen is you'll lose your game. But in my business, your one unchecked bug could cost millions of tax dollars, or worse... millions of lives. Just thought the situation could use a healthy dose of perspective. ^_~ I'll stop preaching now.

that is true, there is no perfect video game out there

And why would Nintendo check for bugs when testers can find them!
