Hello everybody! This is my first thread on here, but enough about me, let's get on to the challenge! There is something called The N challenge and something called a Solo Run. One day, I was thinking of what kind of challenge to make, and these challenges came to mind. So I thought, why not combine them and add even more challenge and suffering.

The Rules are as follows:

1. You may have exactly one Pokémon in your party at all times, except for right after you catch a Pokémon or if you need an HM slave.

1a. You may have HM slaves, but only if you absolutely need one due to your Pokémon not being able to know the HM that you need at the point and time.

2. You must catch the first Pokémon that appears in the next new route after each Gym battle.

2a. The only exceptions are your starter Pokémon and HM slaves.

3. Every time you catch your new Pokémon, you need to release your previous Pokémon. (No matter how hard it is to bring yourself to do.)

3a. If you're playing Black 2 or White 2, you must call Bianca on your Xtransceiver to see your bond with your Pokémon right before releasing it.

4. You must nickname all your Pokémon.

5. You win once you defeat the Pokémon Champion.

5a. In Gold, Silver, Heartgold, and Soulsilver, you win once you defeat Red.

Currently, I am doing this in Black 2, and I have feel really bad about releasing my Snivy (1337f0x). I am over it, though, and I will continue to be strong. If you want to join, just follow the template.

I have some space, and I've wanted to do something like an "N" Challenge. If I'm not mistake, I suggested something like this, except with perfect IVs/EVs. Glad someone took control of this.

Game: Yellow

The HM Slave situation won't be a problem as I can go grab Mew to use the four mandatory HMs.

EDIT: Finished completely with this Challenge, will post update with screenshots of *released* Pokemon.
Spoiler:

BROCK
I got lucky with a male Nidoran, which I grinded until it knew Double Kick. Henrik became the body guard for the next Pokemon on the team: Spearow

MISTY
Grinded Spearow to a Fearow, which allowed me to defeat Misty. I could finally box Henrik for his abolition in the end of the game.

LT. SURGE
I decided to use Charmander, who I evolved to Charmeleon. It knew Dig, which was all that I needed to defeat his single Raichu. Fearow gets permaboxed for release.

ERIKA
Stupidly enough, I grabbed a Geodude that I evolved to Golem to survive Erika. It escapes me how I didn't get Mega Drained or Petal Danced on once.

KOGA
This was Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff's job, and it performed excellently with its Special Attacks. I used Thunder Wave to cut down the Venonats' Speed, then eventually knocked them out with Tri Attack.

BLAINE
I went and grabbed a Slowbro from a previous game to Surf on Blaine's Fire types, but it did not obey me very well. Still won easily.

SABRINA
I brought another old friend, Bravest the Pidgeot from another Yellow Nuzlocke found on this site's Nuzlocke thread. It Wing Attacked and Swifted all over her Abra family.

GIOVANNI
Dodrio was imported to finish up Gio. Its Speed allowed me to defeat Gio's Persian and Nidos. Tri Attack burned the Rhydon, which was extremely lucky considering that is a ~3% chance, aside from Paralyzing, Freezing, or just not inflicting a status. Rhydon was a stretch but it eventually fainted.

The Elite Four was done by a single Pokemon, because five more is unneccessary and a waste of time, right? My choice was a Nidoqueen, equipped with Horn Drill and a few other important moves: TBolt, Ice Beam and Earthquake.

LORELEI
One X Accuracy, Horn drill all.

BRUNO
Same exact strategy, just used an Ether to keep Horn Drill going.

AGATHA
X Speed to keep uo with the Gengars. Earthquake was enough to one-hit the Gengars and Arbok, while Golbat died after two TBolts.

LANCE
Lance's Pokemon were far too fast for me to use the Horn Drill strategy, and Gyarados could've easily wiped my Queen with a single Hydro Pump, granted it hits. I decided to TBolt Gyarados, then Ice Beam the rest.

CHAMPION BLUE
Facing a Sandslash first made me rethink my plans. I Ice Beamed the Sandslash, then was able to Equip an X Accuracy/X Speed to knock the rest of his Pokemon out for the win. Because I had lost to Blue in the first fight of the game, Blue had a Flareon instead of a Jolteon.*

*Flareon is much slower than Jolteon as well as Nidoqueen after an X Speed. If I had to face a Jolteon, I would need to use two X Speeds, which I did not have the time to set up against his Alakazam.*

If you read that last tidbit, you'd inow that I was able to defeat the rest with Horn Drill. Stay tuned for the release images!!!
