I kind of like Aerodactyl a lot, probably mostly from Red's Aerodactyl in the manga. It's just so cute and holds onto its trainer's shoulders to let them fly :3

I'm also a fan of Gen 5's fossils, with Carracosta and Archeops as the final evos. Carracosta is like a more sleek Blastoise and Archeops is like a more feathery Aerodactyl, haha. I thought they were cool, even though Tirtouga wasn't perhaps the most original pokémon ever after Squirtle and Turtwig and Torkoal...

Gen 6's fossils are pretty cool too, that's gotta be said :3 Cute/cool dinos.

Definitely the Armor Fossil. Bastiodon, imo is underrated for in-game teams, and I've managed to take down the entire Sinnoh Pokemon League in Pearl using nothing but it. Shieldon is really adorable, too, in a weird way XD I also really like Aerodactyl and Amaura; Aerodactyl is tough and has a cool Mega Evo. while Amaura and Aurorus are beautiful, have a nice ability (and hidden ability), and aren't too bad in-game. They also have the best shinies, in my opinion. (Tyrunt and Tyrantrum come close, though I love most blue shinies, ahaha.)

Very tough for me to pick just one, as I'd have the Helix, Claw, Sail and Jaw Fossils up near the top, but I'll go with Archen/Archeops and the Plume Fossil as my favorite.

If it weren't for its Defeatist ability, Archeops would've been one of my favorite Pokemon to play with in Unova, but I still got good use out of it anyway. I also love that we got a colorful prehistoric bird out of it, and some of the facts about Archeops' place in the Pokedex are pretty cool, too (567 is both its base stat total and Pokedex number, and 567.9 in the Dewey Decimal System is dedicated to prehistoric creatures- including feathered dinosaurs).

I like the Plume Fossil, with the Helix coming a close second. Totally not because of TPP.

The Plume fossil because Archeops is among my favourite Rock types, and its ability and stats are just unique to me. It's like an Aerodactyl that can actually hit hard. I also like Archeops' appearance, as it's just the question of what is it? Is it a bird? Is it a snake? It's a mysterious Pokemon to me.

#themoreyouknow.

That's honestly amazing, how it has the same base stat total and Pokedex number, even more interesting when you mention the Dewey Decimal System. Really shows that the fossil Pokemon deserve a bit more respect in my opinion, as I've always seen them as underrated.

Cradily because stall tactics are my thing and there's this video on Youtube that I highly enjoy.

Warning, lots of profanity though!

The name Archeops was a big indication to me that it's based on an archaeopteryx, a prehistoric feathered sky creature scientists believe to be the missing link between raptors and modern birds.

HAIL LORD HELIX!

Choosing one is hard. I submitted the Jaw Fossil as my vote because Tyrantrum is really cool (and needs Rock Head). Rock/Dragon is cool. But I also really like Amaura/Aurorus, because they're adorable, and Rampardos because those Choice Banded STAB Head Smashes are godly.

@Timbjerr: omg that video XD

I really like the Skull, Claw, Dome fossils as well as the 5th and 6th gen fossils but I'm going with the Skull fossil as my favourite because as much as I love Kabutops' design I've never had the chance to use one on my team; in terms of Armaldo I've only started liking it around the time of X/Y and didn't notice it as much in the Gen 3 games whereas my Rampardos in Diamond was the first fossil Pokémon I ever properly used so I have quite an attachment to it :)

I'm personally a pretty big fan of Armaldo. It might not look that great, nor does it have the most amazing set of stats, but it could be pretty useful while battling if utilized correctly; I've once managed to sweep my opponent with it entirely. Due to that, I'd have to say Claw. I like Tyrunt, too, because… well, who doesn't like dinosaurs? xD"

Lileep is a cutie, so I'm going with the Root Fossil. Not too fond of any of these Pokemon though, to be completely honest. I don't think I've ever actually used a fossil Pokemon in-game except for Cradily. That video made me want to go use one again, though. xD I came close to using Amaura, but decided against it in the end. I'd say she's my second favorite.

Old Amber is by far my favourite of all the fossils, thus far.
Ever since being able to finally revive Aerodactyl at Cinnabar Island, it's always been one of my favourite Pokémon.

I guess it also helped that the Dragon Master Lance had an Aerodactyl, himself.
