Game Freak is literally a company of less than 75 people. Their website only lists one location. Where are you getting that they have locations in "many places around the world"? The localization team for Pokemon is not Game Freak, but Nintendo, in all languages and areas, and thus they are not employees of Game Freak and do not need to communicate with Game Freak - only Nintendo of Japan.
I think people on PC think far too highly of it if they think that it's so important that one of the less than 75 Game Freak employees (that are so Japan-centric that they only just started releasing news in places other than Japanese TV shows and magazines) ever visits this English-speaking, relatively unconnected site. And they're nuts if they think that Game Freak actually takes ideas from here - guys, PC is not that important. It's not even the biggest English-speaking Pokemon forum if you look at posts or threads made. Game Freak is not secretly reading your posts, Google translating them to English, and bringing them up in board meetings.
Oh that's just bad wording on my part. I did mean Nintendo, not GF.
I also didn't mean to imply that PC in specific is the place Nintendo and/or game freak go to check on fan input. To pass through PC and read up on some of the boards and threads, then consult anything they find significant is not a far-fetched idea at all. Of course, we wouldn't be the primary board for this sort of thing, no. By getting ideas from fans, I'm implying ideas that are not belonging to an individual or a specific party - but rather, popular ideas. For example, the follow feature that was implemented in HGSS after being mass speculated to be a cool feature to have ever since Yellow.
Because it'd be silly to take a very fan-based concept and use it, as that's bait for legal issues.
Ain't nobody got time for dat.
