Hi to all who see. I would like some advice on a UU team I would like to put together a group of pokemon I want on my team.

Dusclops
Xatu
Meinshao
Bronzong
Roserade
Sableye

I have an idea for Dusclops, putting a Eviolite on it or something, but other than that I have no other idea. Sure, there is Smogon, but I want to try and stag away from it, unless I have to look something up that's on there.

Well, isn't it good to get some opinions from others too?
I think Smogon is great for beginners. I used Smogon until I got a feel for what the meta-game was and how everything worked. Once I got my feet under me, I started experimenting. Some worked and some really didn't. In other words, if you're just beginning, Smogon is your friend. You might not want to use the most popular sets, but they are popular sets for a reason. Once you gain an understanding of the meta-game, that's when I started to stray away from the standard sets. Everyone starts somewhere, so it might be good to go with what's popular to understand why it's popular.

Although, only going by Smogon is a bad idea. Like you said, a variety of opinions is a great way to go.

I guess you are right about that. Though, I have been looking at Smogon from time to time. Thanks for the advice.
