I just got a Fletchling with its HA and also 3IV's DEF,SP.ATK and Speed through a wonder trade, anyone got any ideas on how to get a perfect Fletchling or as close as, I'm learning myself on IV so I don't want to trade it and have someone do it for me

Also I want my Kangaskhan to have a decent set of moves, at the moment ive got
Brick Break
Ice Beam
Fake Out
Thunderbolt

Ive got a freshly hatched Chespin with its HA

Not sure what my other three should be, I want to get into competitive battling.

Any help would be much appreciated

A perfect Special Attack IV is pointless on Talonflame, as it's primarily a physical attacker:
-Swords Dance
-Flare Blitz
-Brave Bird
-Roost
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Sharp Beak/Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings

or
-Flare Blitz
-Brave Bird
-U-turn
-Tailwind/Roost
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Choice Band/Sharp Beak/Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings

or
-Bulk Up
-Brave Bird
-Roost
-Taunt/Will-o-Wisp
Nature: Careful
EVs: 248 HP/8 Def/252 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings

Lack of STAB hurts on Mega Kangaskhan. Its Special Attack is horrendously low for it to take advantage of its Special move pool:
-Fake Out/Power-Up Punch
-Return
-Sucker Punch
-Earthquake/Crunch
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Item: Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy

Chesnaught should look something like this:
-Spiky Shield
-Leech Seed
-Hammer Arm
-Wood Hammer/Spikes
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof

While others would be better suited to suggesting viable Pokemon for the competitive metagame, allow me to offer you advice on Kangaskahn:

First off, remove Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. While those two are usually terrific moves, Kanga has a base Special Attack of around 40, which is lower than Charmander. Special moves should be avoided altogether.

If you're going to Mega Evolve Kanga, the moves Fake Out and Power-up-Punch are typically used with it, PowerPunch giving MegaKanga a Swords Dance boosts while hitting the opponent for decent damage.

From there, coverage moves should be put on. Anything is going to be hurt by strong attacks such as Earthquake, Sucker Punch and Outrage. Sucker Punch can be useful against Aegislash as it doesn't activate the attack drop from King's Shield.

EDIT: Damn it PlatinumDude beat me to it.

Ok, I only put Ice Beam and Thunderbolt on Kangaskan because I normally put them on normal type pokemon anyway and as for EV, im only just getting to grips with IV lol :P
