How often do you get sick? How often do you have to go to the doctors, or if serious, the hospital? Is it easy for you to get ill, or are you resistant to illness?

Just decided to make this because I'm sick right now :x just stuffing my face with pills...

Man I wish I was stuffing myself with pills...maybe then id be happy

I hardly ever get sick. The only time I really go to the doctor is to either get my shots or to get something looked at that's wrong with me.

I get really sick once a year and that's usually in December/January. It's one of those really bad fevers that's borderline flu symptoms, but it goes away in a couple days. Normally my sicknesses are limited to sinus drainage and maybe a headache that lasts a few hours (ear pain too?) but it's gone in 24 hours or less so I don't fret. Those are far more frequent than once a year but no more than once every few months thankfully.

I hate being sick.

stomach illness is the worst thing in the world and for some reason I've gotten it like three times in the past four months or so (the most recent being this Wednesday). it's ridiculously annoying, and I'm not sure why it's happening. I'm hoping that it'll stop over the summer because there's a ton of bugs going around and I won't be in constant contact with everyone over the summer.

other than that, I tend to get colds once or twice a year (didn't get one over the winter, nor have I had one yet this year, which is good). I used to never get sick... I miss those days...

Not really, and thankfully because I hate going to my doctor's >>;; Often times I'll get stomach aches/abdominal pains, but that's about as far as "illnesses" go, and I never tell my parents about them since they'll start worrying, suggesting that we go pay a visit him...

I've always had a pretty bad stomach, and tend to feel queasy or somewhat under the weather a lot. However, I rarely have something serious enough for it to be worth seeing a doctor. I do feel like I've been getting sick a little more often in the past year or so (not sure why), but most of the illnesses I contract can just be slept off in a couple of days.

I literally never get bedridden-sick. I think the last time I stayed home from school because of a sickness was last year when I had pink eye, but I'm not ever sure if that counts because I felt fine, my eye was just all goopy.

I do, however, have stomach problems quite often. I feel nauseous enough where I have to lie down, but the feeling normally passes in a couple minutes. I literally have no idea why this occurs but it happens quite often. :| My mother never believes me (or cares, really) when I tell her about this so I have never gone to a doctor for it.

My resistance towards colds really depends on the season. During Fall/Winter, I rarely get sick and I live in Canada. Winter in Canada is rather harsh and myself not getting sick during it, is pretty astonishing. But, during Summer/Spring, I'm fairly prone to colds. I have no idea as to why, I can only guess it's because of the abnormal rain cycle at where I live.

Thankfully, I rarely go to the doctors, since my sicknesses usually aren't too serious.

Usually I just get sick once a year around the same time - fall. It's always flu like symptoms that I'm sick with and it lasts for maybe two weeks. Then I don't get sick again at all for the rest of the year, usually. I get a lot of headaches, though. I must get at least two headaches a week.

I only get sick 1-3 times a year. It's usually either during the fall or winter or when spring just starts. Most of the time it's just a simple cough , cold , or stuffy/runny nose and nothing too serious and only lasts a few weeks. I feel like I gotten sick more often as a child , but it happens less often probably because I'm being healthier now and gotten a better immune system.

I might get a cold once or twice a year from the weather changes, robotrip for a week, and then I'm fine. :P It's my mom who's always sick..

Getting legit sick is pretty hard for me, and I'm beyond thankful for that. I have a heart condition and asthma to keep in check, and the worst sinuses in the world. I don't really want any more on my plate. xD

Though even when I am ill, I hardly ever go to the doctor/hospital for it as I refuse to get any shots/prescriptions/etc. if I don't *need* it to survive. :v

I don't remember when I last got seriously sick, but I do get pretty sniffly and allergic regularly, especially around this season. I do have allergy pills that I take, so I haven't really gotten too sick in a while.

For the most part, I'm in pretty good health. No allergies or conditions or anything, at least that I'm aware of. However, my dad has Diabetes Type 2, and I'm told that it can be hereditary, especially to male children. And I'm also a chocolate addict, which doesn't help. At all. -_-

When it comes to the small stuff, it's like... on and off seasons, or something. Sometimes I'll get really sick several times in a row, other times I can go months without getting anything. I remember this one time I had this horrible case of... I don't remember what it was called, but man was it nasty. It was on a vacation. Once I got an injection to get rid of it, I got home, and was completely sickness-free for the rest of the year. It's like that virus made my immune system stronger or something.

Come to think of it, I haven't gotten anything serious since then. Minor colds lasting two to three days at best. Though, I like to fake it or blow it out of proportion sometimes to stay home from school a day. Hehe. >.>

Feeling sick from time to time is only normal, that's one of the ways our body takes care of itself. Rather than swallowing pills for the illusion of a quick fix, people should understand why it is that they are sick and respect their body by letting it take care of itself.
Having said this, I rarely get sick. Haven't been once in the last 4 years, and during winter I swim in the cold lake once a week! That should be enough to get sick, but apparently not.

When I had a job, I'd get sick every few months. So would my boyfriend and he'd pass it on to me. It was really horrible. A cold/flu even though I washed my hands constantly. Probably also due to the lack of sleep and strain on my body. But I'm doing better nowadays.

For the record, I haven't been sick in over a year now. :D

I used to get sick at least twice a year. Once in the spring, and another in the autumn. I always disliked it when I got sick, because I dislike breathing from my mouth because of all the chap that builds up on my lips when doing so, and I don't enjoy sore throats either.

I don't get sick often. Besides the occasional congestion and headaches, I don't ever really get sick. I can only remember one time where I actually felt like ♥♥♥♥ in the past 2 years. When that happened I was in Guatemala. I forgot to take this pill they told me to take while I was during our last few work days there. My skin started developing some kind of rash, and I started badly sweating non stop, no matter how much water I drank. I started getting really light headed, but I'm assuming that was coming from dehydration since I was clearly sweating out more water than I was taking in. Other than that, I can't really remember anytime I've been actually sick recently.

I get colds maybe two or three times tops a year....usually that's the extent of how often I get sick. I don't recall the last time I had to go to the doctor's for anything, it's been a good couple of years.

Which...I like, since I also have the habit of getting whammied with things when I do get sick, if it's not just a cold. :X Oh you have bronchitis?! Here have another lung infection as well heh heh heh. Stuff like that.

I have an annual cold that spawns around October/November that happens because of my body readjusting to winter. This year is going to be especially hard since my state's winter basically overwrote our spring and we just jumped right into summer. I also get sick right before any major event ever where I have to sing. Last choir concert, I had a throat problem and I couldn't sing anything above A3 and it was pure hell, especially since my part was supposed to carry the melody and I'm the only person in my section who honestly gives enough of a rat's ass to actually try to participate in the songs.

I get sick really easily. I go to see a doctor very often too. In the last few years I've been to the hospital far more than anybody should. I also go to the hospital every two weeks to receive IV meds. CVID sucks.

and i will love to see that day
