Shiritori

Here's Wikipedia's entry for Shiritori:

Shiritori (しりとり) is a Japanese word game in which the players are required to say a word which begins with the final kana of the previous word. No distinction is made between hiragana, katakana or kanji. "Shiritori" literally means "taking the buttocks" or "taking the end".
We'll have to alter the rules a bit for the English version :3
Shiritori is a game where you say a word, and the next person has to say a word whose first sound is the last sound of your word.

English has some weird sounds, so we might have a few challenges here or there, but that's what Fun and Games is all about!

Example:
Person 1: Apple
Person 2: Please
Person 3: Easy
Person 4: Xeno
I'll make one rule: You can't say a word that is the last sound of the previous word.
Example:
Person 1: Northern
Person 2: Urn
New rule: Words must be at least two syllables long.

Also, making a word plural will almost always make the next word harder, so consider that when writing your word. :)

So, I'll start with Corner.

Ghoti

The "gh" = "f" (or "ph", the last sound in "xenomorph"), the "o" = "i", and the "ti" = "sh". So in other words:

Fish.

Isshin

That means...something. It's Japanese, though I'm not 100% on what it means.

Also, xeno is actually a soft "e", like you would see in "Ed" or "Elephant". At least, that's how dictionaries have it.

shoehorn

I think that's a good rule, too.

Also, regarding issue, that would actually refer to the first syllable of Isshin. The second syllable would be Sheen (or In, pronounced (E n)).

Sorry, I just noticed that you ninja'd me otherwise I would've corrected it. xD

and as for Xenomorph, I pronounce it differently because that's how everyone around me pronounce it.
