Okay so this is dedicated to one of my preschool friends..we still keep in touch though.^^
The dreamers' thoughts
When you fall asleep what do you see?
when you look above you will you see me?
If you'll take a careful look will you believe?
For all you know is the truth lies beneath
A dreamer like you and me
A place where dreams come true
Let there be nothing above us
Just let us be..
Now realize my hardest moments
Let's just tell each other that nothing's perfect
If you will please
Don't let me discourage you
Tonight we both fall asleep
You will dream of me and I will dream of more
We are equals who started at the bottom
Ending at heaven's door
As we both dream that night
We meet again somewhere else
This time we are equal again
Isn't a dream just as simple
As the blink of an eye..?
Awwwwwwws, such a sweet poem! All of my pre-school friends are still with me today, even in ninth grade. <3
This poem shows true friendship between people who have grown to adore each other so. This poem decsribes the feelings that people have for others that they care about. Often they think about the friends they've made and even the friends who have moved on in life.
I have one siggestion for you. ^____^ You should use punctuation marks (Commas, colons, periods, etc.) after each line in any poem. This really does help a lot with the flow of a poem. ^^ It also makes the poem a bit easier to read and makes the reader more joyful to look at it. ^o^
Great work Ana, I encourage you to keep up the great work. ^^
