Your sentenced to jail for a crime you did not commit. You're there for two years, since it was a relatively minor offense.

How do you think being sentenced for a crime you didn't commit would affect your perception on the world? What do you think will happen to your mental health while you're in jail? Use what you already know about yourself and how you handle sorta-similar situations to give an educated guess!

Simple: I'll kill everybody. :D

Seriously, with my kind of mental state, that will be what I'll do if I ever ended up in that kind of situation. I mean, I've always thought that the world is already tainted so much. But when that kind of injustice happens to me, I will snap. And yeah, killing instincts.

...hey, I should've posted here before going to that darkest thoughts thread. Ahaha, I sound like a psycho here. Please forgive my thoughts and my own mental state. :'D

Someone has been watching Orange is the New Black.

I'm sure I would be culturally skewed. If I were to try and use Twitter two years after going to jail, I would be incredibly dated on recent trends and popular slang. All the things popular to teenagers would have a different set of popular people with different types of humor making different types of videos, in the case of Youtube, and games that are popular now would probably have been moved to the backburner. Two years worth of Keeping Up With the Kardashians to catch up on? Forget about it! My mental state would deteriorate after jail because I wouldn't be able to handle the changes in the world.

hngggg that was the first thing that came to mind about this thread!

Honestly I know that jail would change everything about me. 2 years may seem like a relatively short sentence but that is over 700 days of being cut off from society. Think about how much the world has changed in the past week and multiply that by 100 and that is what being in jail for 2 years would be like. Add that on to the bullying that takes place, the unhealthy conditions, being around all kinds of people who are there for real offenses, and there is no way a person could come out feeling the same way as when they went into jail. It's actually scary to just think about!

I'd probably try to carry out revenge on people who were responsible for ruining my life.

Having to waste two years of my life on a crappy jail cell, all while being innocent? It's going to eat me away mentally. I wouldn't be myself.
