Co-op modes have been around since a while, and it can range from just 2 players playing together to even 8 people playing alongside each other. Co-op's have a wide range from just a few missions, to entire campaigns made for them and in some games you can just play the full campaign like you would play it in singleplayer in co-op.

How often do you play co-op modes in video games? Do you play with friends or with random people over the world? Is co-op something that should always be implemented in today's video games?

Oh yes Co-op/multiplayer.

I play it online all the time, haha, and when my friends come over, I play 4 with them. So to answer your question I do both xD. AND YES WITHOUT CO-OP/MULTIPLAYER THEN AFTER YOU BEAT THE GAME YOU CANT DO ANYTHING ;; It should be in every single video game and it is a lot of fun ^^

Oh no Co-op/multiplayer.

I tend to avoid multiplayer generally because of my crappy connection and the fact that I don't know people who play there.

If I can get into an RPG missing with some people I know, I don't mind it.

I love co-op. Local is a preference since my internet sucks, but I'll play online with friends occasionally.
Though I also prefer local because I'd rather play with Boyfriend or my dad, anyway. :3 Never really liked multiplayer. Or PvP. Or playing with randoms in general. I'd just rather play with friends/family, haha.

And, on that note, considering how many couples and families like to play together, I really wish local co-op was implemented in more games.
Obviously I'd prefer that to be the case for more PC games (even though I can understand that), but the recent rise in console games that only allow 2-4 co-op via internet is just disappointing.

I dislike co-op very much because the people I end up playing with are either way worse than me or way better than me and it's very much frustrating either way and I would rather play alone.
