So I really like my Poison monotype and would appreciate feedback since I'm thinking about recreating it on my x y game. You can assume that the IVs are maxed.

Skuntank
Ability: Aftermath
Nature: Adamant
Moves: Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Taunt, Poison Jab
Item: Dread Plate
EV spread: 104 HP, 252 Attack, 152 Speed

Skuntank is Psychic killer. Poison pokes have trouble with Psychic types, but Skuntank shuts them down pretty well. Especially when they're scarfed! The build is as so because it's modified after the "wallbreaker set" and the speed helps me taunt things. I honestly don't know what I should have set the speed in order to out-speed whatever the build was originally intended to out-speed. So I kept it as so. I might just fully invest in hp. Dread plate was picked as Sucker Punch/Pursuit is it's main use. So it's a free boost for the main two attacks used.

Gengar
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
Moves: Destiny Bond, Shadow Ball, 2 ??? (Special Attack Move). I've been using a variety of Dazzling Gleam, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, and Thunderbolt.
Item: Focus Sash
EV spread: 4 HP, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed

Gengar is my revenge killer and my oh crap button. I basically use it to take things weakened out or that Gengar can switch into due to levitate or resistance. Destiny Bond is my good ol' kamikaze button.

Nidoking
Ability: Sheer Force
Nature: Timid
Moves: Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Earth Power
Item: Choice Scarf
EV spread: 4 Hp, 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed

Kind of another revenge killer/heavy hitter, but with amazing coverage and meant to outspeed rather than sneak a needed last punch. Scarf is set to offset it's mediocre speed and mehish bulk. I would love to use Life Orb otherwise.

Tentacruel
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Nature: Calm
Moves: Scald, Ice beam, Giga Drain, Rapid Spin
Item: Assault Vest
EV spread: 252 HP, 252 Special Defense, 4 Special Attack

My special wall. The bulk might seem overkill, but it's really needed! Poison pokes usually lack bulk so Tentacruel really needs to overcompensate. Tentacruel walls Charizard Y and Volcarona. Two common threats.

Venusaur
Ability: Chlorophyll (Thick Fat)
Nature: Impish
Moves: Curse, Petal Blizzard, Earthquake, Synthesis
Item: Venusaurite
EV spread: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Attack

Switch into physical moves and then build that bulk and attack. Pretty simple and effective. Switch into Tentacruel when needed =3 This surprisingly perfectly counters a lot of fire Pokes. Looking at you Charizard X. Bwahaha. This beast absolutely recks.

Crobat
Ability: Infiltrator
Nature: Jolly
Moves: Brave bird, U-turn, Haze, Taunt
Item: black sludge
EV spread: 100 hp, 152 attack, 252 Speed

Crobat is my lead. Taunt those that'll set up. U-turn to switch into a wall. Brave bird for stab an dsemi-effective fighter. Haze ruins those who set up. Haze might be over kill so I might switch to roost. But, I've also REALLY liked Haze too.

Skuntank's best niche this time around is a Defogger. But Crobat does that job better, IMO, though Skuntank does help with that massive Psychic weakness alongside Gengar. In this way, Skuntank can act as backup hazard removal:
-Defog
-Sucker Punch
-Pursuit/Poison Jab
-Taunt
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 16 HP/228 Atk/252 SDef/12 Spe
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Aftermath

Use Sludge Bomb and Focus Blast/Thunderbolt as your last 2 move slots on Gengar.

Nidoking could use Sludge Bomb/Wave somewhere on its moveset so that it can actually hit Fairies harder than Earth Power would:
-Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
-Earth Power
-Ice Beam
-Fire Blast
Nature: Timid/Modest
EVs: 4 Def/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force

Tentacruel seriously lacks power to be considered a viable candidate for Assault Vest, IMO. It needs the passive recovery from Black Sludge more than the special bulk Assault Vest provides:
-Scald
-Toxic Spikes/Toxic
-Knock Off
-Rapid Spin
Nature: Bold
EVs: 240 HP/244 Def/24 Spe
Item: Black Sludge/Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze

Yeah, I don't vouch for Curse Megasaur at all. It needs plenty of support to work effectively and you're wasting away its good 122 Special Attack:
-Giga Drain
-Sludge Bomb
-Sleep Powder/Leech Seed/Earthquake
-Synthesis
Nature: Bold/Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/240 Def/16 Spe
Item: Venusaurite

or
-Giga Drain
-Sludge Bomb
-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Synthesis/Sleep Powder/Knock Off
Nature: Modest/Quiet
EVs: 232 HP/252 SAtk/4 SDef/20 Spe
Item: Venusaurite

As I mentioned previously, Crobat is best played as a Defogger, but that role already went to Skuntank. I don't think Haze is good option, considering that Taunt does the same job, and more:
-Brave Bird
-U-turn/Toxic/Super Fang
-Taunt/Defog
-Roost
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 248 HP/80 Atk/4 SDef/176 Spe
Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
