Are there any updates as to when it's coming back?

From what i have researched no theirs no official updates just that the site is currently under maintenance. Although their has been a rumor on gamefaqs that the site could be returning early next year or late this year but it's nothing official.

The reason why PokéCheck is down is because the host (Xfr) was receiving countless emails about Gen VI support. Not because they're working on direct Gen VI support exactly.
So there was never any intention of supporting Gen VI?

If there were never any intention of that, XFR, Bond, Slashmolder and Kaphotics wouldn't be working around the clock to complete hack and decrypt the 3DS. All I'm saying is, the reason why it is currently down has no reflection on support being added at this time.

There are a lot of reasons why Gen VI support may not happen, at all. A lot of stuff I probably can't mention but let's just say the words, PokéBank, Game Freak, Money for a start.

If it were to happen, it won't be in the same context as previous generations, whatsoever.

Also it's common knowledge now that RNG abuse will never happen to Kalos based Pokémon. Which is a good thing, if you ask me.

Alright, hopefully that was able to answer a few of your questions, but since this doesn't really belong in Pokemon General (we don't deal with any topics that relate solely to the games), I'm going to close this thread for you. If you've still got questions on the status of PokéCheck in the future, feel free to ask over in Pokemon Gaming Central's or Trade Corner's respective Daily Chit-Chat threads (here and here). Thanks!

CLOSED.
