My 2nd ficcy, I like this one more.

------------------------------------

It raced wildly across the forests and mountains, streaking in a straight line effortlessly, like a lightning bolt, too fast for
the human eye to follow.

It had traveled the world far and wide, slashing through forests, racing across mountains, and running swiftly on waters,
cutting their surface in two with its incredible speed.
Ever since the lightning bolt that rained down from the sky gave birth to it, it had never stopped to contemplate the world's
peaceful beauty, for the extreme, uncontrollable power coursing through its body would've consumed it if it did so.
Everywere it fled, clouds followed it, its magnetism creating thunderstorms in its trail.

The large, furry beast pierced through the thick forest, small electric discharges sometimes arching out on its body.
But whenever it wanted to lower its pace, it sentenced everything around it to be blasted into pieces, oblitterated by a power
it couldn't restrain.

It had traveled every corner of the world, and yet there was so much it wanted to see...
It had never experienced the simple joys of contemplating an inert landscape, or the inner peace that sleep and rest offered,
compelled to rocket over land and sea in order to keep its power from destroying it.

It wanted to at last break free from the curse it bared.
It gathered all the power in its body, and beamed forward, discharging every bit of energy inside it, until it could no longer
run. As it slowed down, the haze tunnel it had seen for all its life began to evaporate, and the forest slowly began to
catch shape.

Its eyes were overwhelmed by the change, having difficulty to accomodate to the still, firm contours that were slowly forming.
The colours disagregated and the world around it finally took shape, the horizon stretching farther and farther, the details
slowly emerging. The cracking sound of its lightning had finally ended, and its ears began to catch other sounds in the area.
And the perpetual wind blowing in its face scattered away, leaving only a slight, gentle breeze blowing through its yellow fur,
its cloud-shaped, sleak-purple mane gently landing on its back.

It had stopped in the middle of the forest.

For the first time it could glance at a world it could only reach by standing still.

The forest's trees eclipsed the sky, leaving long beams of light filtering through the dancing leaves, uniformly spotting the
lush grass, which swayed under the gentle current, shaking the morning dew off into tiny dropplets that glittered diamonds as
they were blown away with the breeze. The mild wind swept the dew off the ground in waves of sparkling light, creating a magical
feeling.

The creature's eyes expressed an innocent joy, like that of a new born that had never seen the world. It quickly rotated its
head, scouting the area around it, not looking at something in particular. It felt an elliberating joy, gazing at its
surroundings, and its spirit united with that of the forest. For the first time in its life it knew what it's like to live.

Pairs of courious eyes stared at the majestic creature from the depths of the forest, approaching carefully.
A rustle ringed in one of the bushes. The creature quickly turned its head towards its source. A tiny animal, like none it had
never seen before sprouted from the bush. As the creature sized it with its bright red eyes, similar sounds resounded from the
other side. More animals came out. The sound ringed once again, this time from multiple directions, and the creature kept
turning its head to each and every one of them as the woodland creatures revealed themselves.

They were animals of all colours, shapes, and sizes, staring curiously at the strange presence, approaching carefully, and
slowly gathering into a circle around it, greeting it.
The creature looked at all the animals around it with an expression of happiness, travelled by soothing feelings it never known,
of friendship and appreciation, and it returned a glittering, mild expression of deep gratitude.
One of the smaller animals slowly began to step towards the large creature, with an awkward curiosity.

The creature immediatly noticed its approach, leaving all the others aside and focusing on the one, tiny animal that was
approaching with its curious eyes.
It turned towards the animal, sending discrete jolts of electricity streaking into the ground through its paws each time they
rose from the ground.

The two approached each other curiously as the rest of the animals watched carefully to see what would happen.
A tiny bolt of light flew out into the helpless animal, which fled making short, repeated cries of fear and pain.
The other animals were startled by the flash, changing their expression from one of curiosity to one of fear.
The confused creature quickly turned its head to the animals encircling it. They were all stepping back slowly, the fear in
their eyes repelling it and giving it a sense of guilt.

Its fur slowly bristled, and a menacing buzzing sound grew louder.
It tried to step forward towards the group of animals, but they in turn stepped back in a gesture of distrust, and the creature
stopped insisting. It recieved their message like a painful blow to the heart -- its presence was not welcome anymore.
The stream of power had slowly built inside it and was now gushing out of its body, giving it a blue aura that glew brighter and
brighter. Sustained streams of electricity flowed out of its fur, ready to zap the animals at any moment.
Its gentle aspect had turned into that of a frightening banshee.

It stared at them with a helpless look, begging them to stay while its bristled fur and ominous glow scorned them away.
A sudden wave of energy coursed through its body, but the creature held it back firmly, arching in pain. Its eyes became filled
with horror as it realised the true extent to which its body had stockpiled energy.
It would have destroyed all around it. The flow of energy persisted.

The creature closed its eyes, its teeth clenching and its claws scratching the ground as it struggled to keep the imminent
eruption under control. It mustered all the hatred it had for the power inside it and all the love it had for the woodland
creatures, and held the growing inferno inside it just a little longer as it cried out a fierce roar that drove the animals
away.

As it saw the last of them fleeting back into the forest, it released the tension that had been tormenting it, which came out
through a series of thunderbolts, brutally knocking away the trees and set the grass ablaze.
Its mind became flooded by thoughts as the releasing pain overwhelmed it. It begged for forgiveness while hearing the forest's
cries of pain and desperation that was under the devastating wrath of its lightning.

The lightning was still streaking from its body when it opened its eyes. All the trees that were blown into pieces by the
original burst of lightning were now lying down in flames. The inferno had extended much farther than it had imagined, causing
the forest to immolate as far as it could see.

It stared in shock at the once beautiful patch of forest that now lay in ruins, ravaged by its uncontrollable power, a power it
would bear with it for as long as it would live. Quietly and motionlessly, it looked at the monstrous disaster it had caused
with a helpless look of desolation and sorrow as the rain of lightning continued.

The bright lashes that were whipping the forest continued to spread out of its body, leaving painful burns on its skin.
Then, the power inside it grew even larger, giving way to an inner pain that was consuming it.

Deprived of any will to live, it gently sat down in the scorching flames, waiting for its end.
But the pain was too great, and as it grew, its instinct to run grew more powerful, too powerful to stand against, contracting
all the muscles in its body, promising it a release back into the tunnel of rushing images it had emerged from.
Water leaked from its burning eyes, down its face and vanished in the flames below.

It looked forward at the all-consuming fire that stretched into infinity.
It looked down with despise and hatred for its cursed existence.
And it looked up, asking itself why its heart was not meant to take all its decisions.

It beamed forward, ripping the ground underneath its paws and tossing it up in the air, leaving a deep trench, filled with
glittering sparks of energy, and a burning wound in the heart of the forest.

It gave out a tortured, resonating howl that went thundering across the forest and its surrounding mountains, all the way to the
towering sky, surrendering to them, asking them to be taken back into nothingness by the forces that had forged its soul.
But the skies remained oblivious and empty, letting the cry go on until it vanished into their ignorant form...
...the cry of a suffering Thunder God.

Whoa...

The emotion...I could literally feel Raikou's pain and suffering, and I never had imagined the concept of Raikou not being able to stop running.

Just, wow...you've got that one-shot spark. Only complaints I have are that the paragraphing was entered in random places, interrupting the flow slightly, and also that a clear defined image of Raikou was never completely described, but still, this is awesome...
