My favorite album currently would have to be

gene - Pay money To my Pain. (artist in bold)
Some of the hacks that I like:

I also support Pokemon Liquid Crystal, Glazed, and a few others who either have large banners or none at all.
I'm often not on, but when I am, I show my support in likes :-D
School is back in session. Time to stress out and disappear (even more so than before).

Been listening to this album by Air Dubai for a little while (only came out July 1st I believe). Absolutely love it though. I'm usually picky about albums, usually liking only one or two songs, but this time around the whole album was really good (did the favs in bold as well). Highly recommend it to anyone, the best I can explain it is they're like alternative R&B/rap, which isn't usually my area, but I thought it was well done.

1. All Day
2. Afterglow
3. Coasts

4. D.L.G.
5. Hit The Dark
6. Gone
7. Warning (feat. Patricia Lynn)
8. Let Down
9. Soul & Body
10. Dance With The Devil
11. Nighttime
12. Lost Tonight
13. Sunrise

Lou Reed's Transformer. I love that album. There is nothing outstanding musically about the album, but that's the point. It has a poppy light hearted exterior, but the lyrics are very dark to an absurd level, which in turn makes the whole presentation rather funny. It's a masterpiece in absurdist humour in the guise of a glam rock album.

Right now...

Welcome to sky valley by KYUSS
1.Gardenia
2.Asteroid
3.Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop
4.100° Degrees
5.Space Cadet
6.Demon Cleaner
7.Odyssey

I could say a lot of stuff about it , it's a truly unique and inspirational album ... I've never heard anything similar to that ( except Blues For The Red Sun from KYUSS which is equally good and "atmospheric" ). The rest is told to you by the album itself...

It'd have to be a tie for me. My two favorite albums are entirely different genres and comparing them would be unfair and wouldn't do them justice. Favorites/standouts of the album will be put in bold.

The Fame by Lady Gaga

1. Just Dance
2. LoveGame (Hey, it's my PC namesake!)
3. Paparazzi
4. Poker Face
5. I Like It Rough
6. Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)
7. Starstruck
8. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich
9. The Fame
10. Money Honey
11. Boys Boys Boys
12. Paper Gangsta
13. Brown Eyes
14. Summerboy
15. Again Again
16. Disco Heaven
17. Retro, Dance, Freak

Before this came out, I didn't care for pop music at all. It was one of the most refreshing things to happen to mainstream/radio music in the late 2000s and features the most variety I've seen in a pop album in a long time, ranging from standard electro-pop to power pop-rock or bittersweet ballads. It was instrumental in fueling both my "musical awakening" and my long-standing crush on Lady Gaga. In fact, I was almost strictly a hip-hop head before hearing The Fame, as you might guess by my next choice:

Undaground Legend by Lil' Flip

1. What I Been Through
2. U See It
3. 8 Rulez
4. I Shoulda Listened
5. 7-1-3
6. The Way We Ball
7. Get Crunk
8. Haters Still Mad
9. We Ain't Scared
10. Make Mama Proud
11. I Can Do Dat
12. Tonight
13. What Y'all Wanna Do
14. It's A Fact
15. R.I.P. Screw
16. Forget The Fame

I'd actually been listening to Lil' Flip since I was a kid, what with growing up in Texas and all, but I didn't listen to this whole album until early 2009 when I rediscovered my favorite rapper. I initially remember liking his debut album The Leprechaun, but even though it does contain my favorite song of his, the rest of the songs on there suffer from painfully slow delivery probably meant to be heard while sippin' on lean. This album was a lot more varied and I always respected Flip for having genuinely heartfelt songs while still throwing a few standard "thug/money rap" tunes in there. This album is the essential Lil' Flip album in my opinion, and if you want to check him out, you should definitely start here. It even has two features from Bone Thugs N Harmony member Bizzy Bone.

Kodaline's In A Perfect World. I truly believe this album is a masterpiece from start to finish. There's so much emotion built into each song that I like to listen to specific songs when I'm feeling down. I got to see them alive too before they started picking up speed in the US and throughout my extensive concert experience I can confidently say that the Kodaline was one of the best I've ever been too.

1. "One Day"
2. "All I Want"
3. "Love Like This"
4. "High Hopes"
5. "Brand New Day"
6. "After The Fall"
7. "Big Bad World"
8. "All Comes Down"
9. "Talk"
10. "Pray"
11. "Way Back When"

Honestly all of them are good in their own ways, but these one's in bold stick out to me.

Totally one of my favorite albums since it was made. Passion Pit's Manners

1. "Make Light"
2. "Little Secrets"
3. "Moth's Wings"
4. "The Reeling"
5. "Eyes as Candles"
6. "Swimming in the Flood"
7. "Folds in Your Hands"
8. "To Kingdom Come"
9. "Sleepyhead"
10. "Let Your Love Grow Tall"
11. "Seaweed Song"

Truly, every song is amazing, filled with so much emotional weight. Making a synth pop song, which talks about life-crushing themes like death and mental health issues is hard, but they manage to do it perfectly. On the other hand they perfectly execute cheering songs about love. I just love this band.

That's too difficult to put into words. But I'll go with the Beastie Boys on this:

Favorite lyric: So put a quarter in yo' a** 'cause you played yo' self
From Track: 7. "Hey F**k You"

I feel kind of old when I choose the Beastie Boys. "Gran'pa been rappin' since '83. . ."

Most definitely one of the better influences of East Coast hip-hop. The Beastie Boys have a special space in my soul. I had a minute panic attack when I had discovered that Adam had passed. . .

You must give the Beastie Boys a whirl if you appreciate a good rhyme.
