It's almost like I'm a regular visitor here XD

Is it possible to export my maps in my Firered hack to a new Firered rom? I'm planning to carry over stuff. If not, I'll just make them again, though tiling in Advance Map is a total pain.

Yes, but, there's a downside to it.
The map name will be carried over as well, and changing it will change other maps.

I was being serious. :D But what I usually do is go to name I want to change, for instance, I wanna change Route 1. Go to Headers, then where the names are, the one on the left, is the one you are changing, go to let's say Route 1 for instance, on the right, you change the name with your own. Then check on the headers a bit down, to see if it's set correctly, for instance village or route etc. Then keep switching maps and changing names and checkig everything,

Like i said, trial and error, it does it, when it feels like it for some odd reason.

Hope it helps

Open up the map in A-map, go to File->Map->Save Map As. Then open up the ROM you want to put the map into, go to File->Map->Insert Map.
