hi so i just got this game a week ago and really got hyped on online battling on youtube
and from my cousin

so i created a hypothetical team which my cousin will help me with

Lead :

Espeon @ Light Clay
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind

Chain Baton Pass :

Scolipede @ Black Sludge
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 248 HP / 208 SpD / 52 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sword Dance
- Protect
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

Baton Pass & Phys Attacker :

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 116 Def / 100 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Baton Pass

Receiver Sp Attacker :
Nidoking @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower

Receiver Wall & Sp Attacker

Slowking @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Power Gem
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

Receiver Trap & Sweeper :
Mamoswine @ Focus Sash/Choice Scarf
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Endeavor
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake

i have 3 chains of baton pass from espeon> scoli > scizor > nido/slow/mamoswine to be the end receiver depending on what opponents im facing by my move pool and their weaknesses so its not a full baton pass team and really flexible(?)

i wanted a jolteon on the team but it seemed overkill and has a bad movepool?i really dont know which to pick although jolteon is simply my favorite

i was considering gallade with leaf blade, escavalier, stone edge flare darmanitan, belly drum stock pile snorlax and also conhagrius because of its really cool ability and tankiness

i also considered the vast amount of aegi, talon and azumaril
so i made this team to have some counter to them

In Pokemon Showdown! teams, Baton Pass is limited to only 1 team member.

While you can Calm Mind/Baton Pass with Espeon, Calm Mind is better left to something else: Yawn to force a switch or a potential sleep or Psychic/Psyshock for a reliable Psychic STAB.

Drop Mega Scizor's Baton Pass for Knock Off (for offensive utility if this is a Showdown! team), X-Scissor (if this is a cartridge team) or Bug Bite (if you have Poke Bank and this is a cartridge team).

Slowbro > Slowking because its resistances tend to be physically-based:
-Scald
-Psychic/Thunder Wave
-Ice Beam
-Slack Off
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator

If you insist on keeping Slowking, here are better sets for it:
-Scald
-Psychic/Dragon Tail
-Fire Blast
-Power Gem/Ice Beam
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 248 HP/164 SAtk/96 SDef
Item: Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator

or
-Scald
-Psyshock
-Thunder Wave
-Slack Off
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/44 Def/212 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator

Focus Sash is the better option for Focus Sash/Stealth Rock Mamoswine. Using Choice Scarf on this Mamoswine variant is a no-no because this Mamoswine needs to switch moves to be effective.

Jolteon = no. There are better Electric Pokemon out there that can do what it can do better: Mega Manectric, Zapdos and Wash Rotom.

Though Gallade is my personal favorite, its physical frailty and average Speed let it down. Don't consider it in OU.

Escavalier is worth considering because it's one of the best Assault Vest users:
-Megahorn
-Iron Head
-Drill Run
-Pursuit/Knock Off
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 SDef
Item: Assault Vest

Belly Drum + Stockpile Snorlax is absolutely terribad. It's slow, meaning it won't have time to get all 4 boosts up. If you opt for Rest in the last slot, you do have recovery, but will be stuck with a Normal STAB, meaning you'll be walled by Ghosts to hell and back. And if you opt for coverage, you lack recovery outside of Leftovers. In the end, Assault Vest Snorlax is best because it has actual coverage:
-Return/Body Slam
-Earthquake
-Crunch/Fire Punch
-Pursuit/Wild Charge/Self-Destruct
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/252 SDef/4 Spe
Item: Assault Vest
Ability: Thick Fat

Though Mummy does give Cohagrigus a good niche, it's not worth it because there are better Ghost Pokemon out there with better utility, like Gengar, Prankster Sableye, Chandelure and Aegislash:

Gengar:
-Shadow Ball
-Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
-Focus Blast/Thunderbolt
-Destiny Bond
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb/Focus Sash

or
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Will-o-Wisp
-Taunt/Disable/Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave/Focus Blast
Nature: Timid
EVs: 28 HP/148 SAtk/80 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Black Sludge

Sableye:
-Taunt
-Will-o-Wisp
-Recover
-Foul Play/Knock Off
Nature: Bold/Impish
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Prankster

Chandelure:
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Fire Blast/Will-o-Wisp
-Taunt
Nature: Modest
EVs: 160 HP/156 SAtk/192 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Infiltrator

Aegislash:
-Shadow Ball
-Shadow Sneak/Iron Head
-Sacred Sword/Iron Head/Pursuit
-King's Shield
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 244 HP/12 Def/252 SAtk
Item: Leftovers/Spooky Plate/Spell Tag/Air Balloon

or
-Substitute
-Toxic
-Shadow Ball
-King's Shield
Nature: Modest
EVs: 244 HP/12 Def/252 SAtk
Item: Leftovers

or
-Shadow Ball
-Shadow Sneak
-Flash Cannon/Pursuit
-Sacred Sword
Nature: Hasty/Naive
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb

or
-Swords Dance
-Shadow Sneak
-Shadow Claw/Iron Head
-Sacred Sword/Head Smash
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/4 SDef/252 Spe
Item: Life Orb
