I don't like flannel. The material just does not do it for me.

Crisp, long sleeve button up plaid shirts. Sleeves almost always rolled up. That's pretty much my style. Never always buttoned all the way up. Maybe half way AT MOST.
I think we're cut from the same cloth.

GET IT???

I wear a lot of Goodwill and walmart brand stuff. My wardrobe mainly consists of flannel/plaid, basketball shorts, and then band t's. I only really started wearing plaid/flannel this past year because it's been a kind of theme at our high school that all seniors wear it.

Except I don't do short sleeve plaid. I will literally laugh when I see someone wearing a plaid button up shirt and it has short sleeves.
Short sleeve button-ups in general are horrendous

You get points for wearing a western shirt (I LOVE western plaid shirts. That makes up half my plaid collection.), but lose points for the short sleeves.
Please, I feel I actually rock the short sleeve button down look. It all depends on how you wear it.

I don't like the short sleeve look at all. It just doesn't compare to rolled up sleeves, which I think look great.

I feel especially attractive when I'm wearing plaid, my sleeves are rolled up, I have a bracelet on, and a necklace. ;)

...This is a thing???

Unless it's half-sleeves because the sleeves are intentionally bunched up, that is not okay.

As I think we all agree short-sleeve button ups are horrendous (I still love you Dipu), skinny legs or boot cut in pants?
I hate bootcut jeans. There are no reasons why you should own a pair of bootcut jeans. Skinny (as long as they aren't super skinny, and they have the legs for it) are generally okay with me.

I usually go for slim straight.

To be fair I looked at your shirt and though "oh, that's not that bad, I didn't really know what I was booing." I think in my head I was thinking short sleeved flannel.

I don't really pay much attention to guy's fashion. :<

I still have boot cut jeans from like, 4 years ago, sitting in my closet that are gathering dust. Probably just gonna donate them because they aren't getting worn anytime soon.

Skinny legs please and thanks.

Women's fashion is so much more flexible, it seems.
When I go shopping with my girl friends (I only go shopping with two of them), I feel the exact opposite. I feel like men's jeans in particular have a lot better choices.

Except we usually have those really ugly designs on the back pockets if you branch out to different brands. The back pockets are usually the killing factor when I'm shopping for jeans. I could love the wash and the texture and the styling of the jeans, but if the back pockets are ugly, then that's it for me.

Yeah, but I can wear jeans of like 5 different styles, plus skirt of 3-4 different lengths, plus capris, plus shorts of at least 2 different lengths, and that's just on my bottom half. Most men would not be willing to wear shorts shorter just above the knee or skirts of any length, or capris for that matter.

Oh yeah, you guys do get a lot more flexibility and options with styling. I thought he was talking about jeans, though. Oops.

Who says a man can't wear a skirt at five different lengths? Just have to go out and buy it. I wore a sundress one day to marching band.

I don't get why all guys need to wear for a party is a plaid shirt, but girls have to stylize their hair, pick the perfect dress (that looks slimming to boot) or gown or not even a dress at all, apply make up and wear high heels.

Honestly, I don't want to do all that.

Because of the way other females in a girls' life taught her. Not sure how it started, though, but that's why I think that's the case.

But some girls feel most attractive like that regardless, and most people dress not to impress others, but to flatter themselves. That's what styles are all about.
