Please no graphic tees if you're out of high school/your country's equivalent
So people can't wear band shirts to show their favorite band? Or wear a t-shirt with a video game logo to show their love for a game?

I love wearing my Super Mario Bros. 3 t-shirt and TMNT t-shirt and this is probably the first time hearing that people dislike these kinds of shirts. Considering so many people of various ages wear them.

People can do whatever they want. It's not that I personally dislike them they're just very unfashionable to me past a certain age.

Can someone explain to me why girls like to wear leggings with shirts that don't cover their butts and front? It's really awkward walking behind them on the stairs...
Because they're comfortable? I don't do it because I know there's a stigma against it but I think the stigma is one of the dumbest things ever. I do wear just leggings around the house when I have a window or a door open so I can't just go without pants, because they're super comfortable.

As long as they're not see-through, they're fine. Sweatpants can cling just as tightly everywhere but the calves/ankles (and often do), and so can jeans for that matter, or slacks, or basically any other kind of pants.

I don't think there's anything wrong with them. Band shirts are awesome and people wear them for years. If I see someone wearing a band shirt I recognize it's a signal I should consider talking to them. Just because you're over 18 doesn't mean you have to dress old all of a sudden.

Not wearing graphic tees isn't old, you can totally dress young without wearing a graphic tee. I'm not into men's fashion, but for women there's soooo much you can do that looks young, almost too young even for me, without printed shirts. (lots of images in the spoiler)

graphic shirts are VERY out of fashion imo i never wear them unless im super lazy that day and can't be bothered to wear anything else

anyway i try to dress as nice as i possibly can, ocassionaly i bust out the sport shorts, tennis shirt and tall socks, but usually i go for the frat look which is very popular around where i live - short khakis, boat shoes/sperries without socks, and a name brand like polo or southern tide (preferably with a frocket). obviously there are variations but that's mainly what guys wear. in winter it changes though

Neon green or yellow are my favorite. No h8 pls. I only wear graphic T's if they have a band that I like on them. A nice bright yellow crop top and black jean shorts never goes out of fashion.

I wear leggings as well, but I think the stigma is that people wear them inappropriately.
Both sweatpants and jeans are made of opaque material, while leggings sometimes aren't.

Leggings are. Stockings and tights are not.

Plus the stigma extends to opaque legging as well so it's not that - people talk about how they don't want things to hold so close to their body, that it's like they're wearing nothing at all, etc.

Edit: Of course, I wouldn't call leggings as pants fashionable. Unless you have like Blackmilk leggings.

I don't really like v-necks shirts for some reason. Also not all graphic shirts are bad.
Not at your age, they aren't. I think after you reach your 20s you should try your best to refrain from wearing them, because they are a little teenager-ish, in my opinion. And these guys are right in saying they aren't very fashionable. I don't really dress to be fashionable, and I know most people don't either, but at the same time, because of how kiddish I think graphic tees, I generally don't wear them unless it's around the house or to the store or something.

Depending on how large the amount of mass that you are trying to put into said leggings, yes they can decrease in opaqueness, haha.

If you are referring to Blackmilk leggings as in the patterned kind, then I fear we disagree on that matter. I think those are one of the tackiest things girls have ever decided to wear. But that's just my opinion.

Leggings are comfortable, and if worn properly, can look well on someone. I just don't see many people who do. I guess college experience has tainted that for me.

I like Blackmilk a lot, as long as you wear a subdued outfit to go with them. They do have some questionable designs but when they're on point they're stellar.

Can't really blame it on college because we clearly disagree and I just finished college so :)

I am addicted to leggings. Even my "jeans" are tight legging material. Honestly I have nothing against real jeans I've just been prolonging buying a couple pairs for money reasons wahh

I've never bought black milk leggings because a lot of the designs are pretty crazy and usually my thighs/ass stretch it out so much you can see everything.

I can't follow anymore hahaha :'D

But yeah, on the topic of graphic tees... I'm just gonna say that my father has quite a lot that still looks good on him, and he's almost 50. They're still unfashionable imo, but not all of them are bad. :/

And leggings... haha, I only wear them at home and whenever I have to wear a skirt (aka. school uniforms).

So apparently the store Aeropostale changed.

They're no longer the ones with the 87 literally everywhere on their clothing with Aero in big letters on the back of your shirt, or the hood of your hoodie. Now they're just a copy of American Eagle.

Even their website layout is the same.

rme

Like really, go look at the two websites. The clothes are pretty similar in style too.

Between Aero and American Eagle?
Yeah. I always thought they were basically the same style and people who liked one liked the other as a matter of course. They're not?

Aeropostale is literally the lowest of the low in terms of popular mall brands. At least that's how it's looked at where I live.
