I understand the quality bit, but well, members have said that they didn't really like all of the thread making we've been doing, soooo. I'm not saying remove it completely, but, me making like, 3 threads a day, maybe pushes it too far? D:
It makes it sound like you have a strict schedule of topics you stick to posting every day, that kinda makes it sound like a chore to me. :/
Posting in VG should be fun and you should always be excited to do it. I never went into a day thinking 'I must post X amount of threads' as it ruins the fun of the board. Have the mentality of posting a thread when you think it will be really fun for the members at that moment in time, as the popularity of VG topics shifts VERY quickly. The risk you also run of posting X amount of threads a day, is it is more difficult for members to create those threads. Normally, what I did was observe the activity of the day and if it was a slow day, I would give some threads a nudge to keep activity up.
I know it has been a long time since I was VG mod... [Was going to say not as long as Klippy but he is like a bad smell; won't go away. ;)], but the way VG is run and the manner in which it is run won't change.

Hyrule Warriors as the thread title indicates exactly what the thread is about and the needless clutter around it is...just plain ugly.
Year of Gaming #7 explains EXACTLY what the thread is about without needing to be plastered with the prefix. I know others that agree with me on this feeling.
I see the [tags] have already been removed and I wonder what they were being used for. I brought in Tags for Online Games to separate and easily decipher what consoles they were on, because there were multiple game threads at that time.

There isn't much of that anymore and it's sort of disappointing as a former VG mod that the work Captain Fabio and I (not to mention other staff members like Hiroshi Sotomura and Morkula) put in to maintain the events has all but died. I'm not sure if it's because you guys don't have any consoles or games.
The BIGGEST thing about VG that HAS to be upheld are the events. I don't care if it is on a console or a flash game in your browser, these HAVE to happen regularly. At the time I was VG mod, in my later days, it was a little difficult to uphold events on my own because I was very busy with other things, but with three of you now, it should be easy. This board, I think and always have, is the most difficult to keep successful and active, due to the nature of the board.

(I also recognize that members sometimes don't post as many threads as could be desired)
As I said above, I agree with Klippy's comment about member generated discussion; it has to come from them, at least 70%, or it feels like discussion is being forced upon them.

Also, I hate a crazy amount of sticky's and always have! :( There should never be more than five, unless one is about a event, because then it doesn't count as it will only be a temp.
Maybe what I have said is just obvious and you already know about it, but having points re-enforced is never a bad thing.
