And isn't it odd that I return to Poetry after I'm demodded? Yes, I haven't written anything in a long time. This... is something I wrote this morning. It was something I needed to write; some of you know that Mandi and I were both friends and rivals, and linked by the Joel obsession. I won't bore you any longer. Music? Yes, it has music. Will you ever hear it? Maybe. For now, it's something I needed to write to get off my chest...

Always Here

dedicated to the memory of Mandi Cormier
a friend, a rival, a staff member
1986-2005

I wonder if you can hear me now
From the sky
Are you playing with the angels you loved?
And I want to know why
This had to happen to someone like you

But you
You're always here
You're living here with us
And when you're up there looking down
Think of us
We're always here with you

You leave us with the memories of you
Asking why
Always happy, always laughing
Why did you have to die?
You were too young to leave this world

But you
You're always here
You're living here with us
And when you're up there looking down
Think of us
We're always here with you

I know you wouldn't wanna hurt us... (no, no, no)
I know you'd want us to get on with our lives
But hey
You know it's true
It's gonna be hard living without you

But you
You're always here
You're living here with us
And when you're up there looking down
Think of us
We're always here with you

And you'll always be here

"One reason why mathematics enjoys special esteem, above all other sciences, is that its laws are absolutely certain and indisputable, while those of other sciences are to some extent debatable and in constant danger of being overthrown by newly discovered facts."
Albert Einstein

"What science can there be more noble, more excellent, more useful for men, more admirably high and demonstrative than mathematics."
Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."

ANNOY ME AT YOUR PERIL. I am becoming increasingly tired of the unmanly elitism and closed-mindedness of certain members who shall remain unnamed.

Modship has nothing to do with it....

And the song fits the music I wrote for it... the verses are just as long as they need to be...

Thanks Star.... why is it that the saddest things always get me writing again?

Mandi was a PC member, a Joel Madden obsessor like me, a Good Charlotte fan and a staff member on my Good Charlotte website. She died in a car accident a couple of weeks ago.

As I had done with Karli's poem dedicated to Mandi, I shall restrain myself from giving suggestions, for the sake and honor of our dear Mandi. <3

You did a really nice job with this JA, and I'm absolutely sure that Mandi would love that people care so much about her. ^______^ I give it two thumbs up. ^_~

Jedi: you put your feelings into it, that what made you write it.
Yeah, its best not to go to the anime for help with the games. I mean, when facing Brock, it's not like you actually have the option of setting the sprinkler system off to aid you in taking down his Onix.

Mandi was a well-liked member of PC, and like me at the time, she was a Good Charlotte addict. She died in a car accident earlier this year.

This is extremely old... >>;

*reports*
Do you even know the rules for the Other writing section, or even bother to read what the poem is about?

This stays open for obvious reasons.

Well... Someone should post that on the rules thread then. Maybe that's why I never knew about that rule. =D

Btw, I know what the poem is about... I knew Mandi.
