So, just as the question says... when did you last go on a vacation? What was the vacation you went on? Tell us about it. :3

I'm currently sort of vacationing right now. I'm at my anime convention as I type this. Well, actually I take that back. I'm in the hotel room at the moment. It's lots of fun, and I already met lots of friends. ^w^

The last vacation I had was July 2013 when I went to North Carolina for a few days. I went with my family and we stayed over my mother's friend's house which was really nice. The only problem I had was no wi-fi so I had to use my phone's 4G to keep me occupied when I stayed indoors.

I did a lot of shopping for new clothing and I went to the pool to relax a little. However that's probably the final vacation I plan on having. I'm not big on vacations. My ideal vacation is relaxing at home on my computer lol.

I went on two within a week or so of each other so I'll just share both.

First one was earlier this month I went for a week to cape cod with my friends. I love to sight see and whatnot, but the cape area is a place everyone visits in the summer around here so I've been 1000x times. So because of that we spent most of our time just getting drunk/high at the house. Besides that we also went to p town, the beach, shops on the cape, and other stuff but I really don't remember rn.

And then recently I went to Vermont with my cousin for two days and we went to a granite quarry where we got to sandblast a design into granite, walked a few trails, went to a gorge, went to a cheese farm and got to eat 14 samples of cheese for free along with maple syrup. Almost forgot there was also a petting farm there and I got to feed lil goats!!! I posted pics in the picture thread

Couple of months ago when there was a mishap and work and instead of re-working my weekly schedule they just gave me a week off. 8D;

Sucked because it was't technically a vacation, just missed a whole week of hours, so it was kind of against my will.

More than one day would be actually last weekend. I went up north with my boyfriend to Oscoda, Michigan. I think something was in the air though and I got kind of congested.

A more notable "vacation" was when I went to Bronycon 2014. That was an adventure. Traveling on buses for 14 hours is pretty exhausting. Baltimore was pretty interesting too.

Like a week ago actually, haha. We went to Washington D.C to see the monuments and all that fun stuff. We also stopped at Gettysburg PA on the way home. It was a great trip. We usually go on a vacation once a year in the summer. Nothing big.

Aside from going out of town to visit family, my last vacation was last year around this time, when I went to New Jersey to stay with my boyfriend for a couple of weeks. We went to NYC and attended a little Animal Crossing party in Nintendo World, and spent the whole day in the city. It was fun c:

Early June this year I went to Byron Bay (plus one day in Coolangatta) with my husband and his family for the long weekend. I'm not sure how much of that was really a holiday though, considering I was with his family. There was lots of drama courtesy of his 18 y.o. brother who kept going on that we were all boring because he wanted to go clubbing.

The best part of that holiday was when my husband and I ran off on our own for a 8 km trek along the beach.

Went to Chicago earlier in the month. That was a place that we had never been before and wanted to, nothing particularly exciting there but it was still a pretty fun time. Deep dish pizza, Wrigley Field, Lake Michigan, it was a nice time. Very enjoyable!

Honestly I have no idea. I remember my family telling me we went on once before I started school. Since then we just become more poor and all that fun stuff. I don't want to travel anyway, because it involves planes, which I am scared of, and I have no family out of the USA, or state. So really I have no need to go anywhere.

It was last weekend, actually. My family and I went over to Vancouver Island for the first time in nearly 10 years, since my cousin was getting married over there. We weren't there long, so I don't know how much of a vacation it counts as, but it was the first time I was out of the city in over 2 years, so I'll take it.

My last "vacation" was in February at Washington D.C. The reason for the quotes is because that was my honeymoon as well. If a vacation is for resting and relaxing then it wouldn't apply since my wife and I did not get much "resting" *wink*.
Coming sometime!

A fashionable yuri adventure!

Went to San Diego a little over a month ago. Stayed there for a week. All I did was spend time with my old college buddies, my older sister & her two nieces, and traveled throughout the whole city. I even went to Comic-Con! Only went to see the outskirts of it and holy crap there was a lot more to do outside and I was so happy.

My last vacation was in August 2011 at Myrtle Beach, SC. We drove all the way to South Carolina to pick up my twin brother from his BCT graduation. No one felt like driving back just yet, so we went online, found Myrtle Beach and booked a hotel for a few days.

Also my family owns a lakeside cabin in Osage Beach, MO that we go to every summer. I don't know if that counts as a vacation since that's in the same state.

My last vacation was Benicassim with friends a couple of years ago.

It was.. certainly an experience, for sure. Copious amounts of alcohol and a bit of live music. It was an awesome time, i'd go back there in a heartbeat.

I won't really count family visits as vacations. My last one was at Hong Kong in late 2013. It was rather fun I must say. The weather was great (you don't get to experience such chilly weather in Singapore unless you toss a couple of tens to Snow City, which is only a short 20 minute trip), the food was terrific and the skyscrapers were gorgeous.

The only part which I disliked was going up the rather pricey Sky100 observation tower. It's not as expensive as say, the Singapore Flyer and it is certainly waaaaayyy taller, but it was a significant expense of that trip.

My last vacation was actually this past week! My mother took my brother and I to London, England for a week. I've technically been to Europe once before, but I was only 2 when my parents took me so of course I don't remember it at all. So this was sort of my first time off my continent and it was really exciting! It was amazing seeing just how different it is there, even if a lot of things were the same. We didn't do a whole lot besides touristy things and most of what we did was just wandering around and looking at things but I enjoyed myself so much. My second-favourite part of the trip was when we went to the WB Harry Potter studio tour....... it was so cool! I've been a big Harry Potter fan for years so it was incredible to see the sets and props up close like that.

The highlight of the trip was meeting my girlfriend, though. ;w; We met online last year and have been dating since December but we didn't get a chance to meet in person until this trip. (My mom had been intending to take my brother and I to London this year for ages, so it was kind of a coincidence that a few months before we booked it, I ended up involved with someone living there...!) It was incredible to actually be able to spend time with her in person instead of just talking on Skype and she got along so well with my family. It was just such a great trip.

There was a lot of stress getting back from the trip, though (a lot of mishaps on the way to the airport, missing our flights, having to rush onto a standby flight, mom not making it on said flight, losing a checked bag, and so on.......) so I'm incredibly glad to finally be back in my own bed now.
