The forgotten~In memory of those deceased ones we know.

Is it the first time you've come to visit me?
Perhaps you didn't even come to see me one last time.
I've lied here for so long awaiting,
Waiting for you to come and comfort my soul...

It's been so long since we walked together,
Something that goes and cannot come back.
The love between you and me never dies,
But have you simply left me to stay?

For I am the forgotten,
Lying in an unknown graveyard.
A ghost awaking from the dead,
Coming back to haunt the heartless..

You loved me until the day I had to leave you,
And went away to another.
Don't you remember what you promised me,
Or did you just not want to remember?

Please remember the forgotten,
before they awake and come back.
Just give them the respect they deserve,
Isn't it just so easy?

Unless you choose to remember me,
I am still forgotten..

There seems to be a deep story behind this, despite being dedicated to the people of the deceased, and what is left behind, you could tell that its related more to a person in a relationship where one dies and all of a sudden the widow just moves on, and even though that the person may be dead, the soul and spirit still live on and is hurt by that.

Very nice words to use and poem, great job ^^.

Awwwwwwws, this poem sasys so much about our loved ones whohave passed on. It brings tears to my eyes to think that I've had a few close people and animals to me die...and I think of them every day yet seem to pay no mind to the thought of their memory. ;-;

This poem makes me want to go out and visit my dearest friend who passed on not five months ago. Very well done Ana, I loved it. <3 *stamps the "Kelsey Seal of Approval" on Ana's poem*
