I was recently discussing this with someone and thought I should ask here. What do you think the person or people you have dated or had some substantial romantic time with think about you or say about you to other people? Do you wonder if you ever cross their mind anymore? Do you hope you cross their mind or no? Have you ever thought about this?

I am sure the opinions are mixed, but I have mostly heard positive things.

Do you wonder if you ever cross their mind anymore?
No. I don't honestly care.

Do you hope you cross their mind or no? Have you ever thought about this?
Nah. And my exes don't even cross my mind unless they are brought up, which is rare. Once I cut ties with someone, I tend to make sure there is no further contact. If there is, I only allow it if nothing gets personal.

I got to go through a negative experience of this in high school. An ex boyfriend and an ex friend teamed up to talk and ridicule me behind my back. They even nicknamed me "Archie" because I had (still do) a thigh gap. If they still think about me at all I hope it is with regret because I never did anything to either of them to deserve that treatment.

As far as adult relationships I would be very upset to think that friends I made at University say bad things about me. I can imagine that they have (and possibly still do) talk about me with others when I'm not around. I'm severely shy and introverted so I can sometimes come across cold and arrogant so I just hope I haven't inadvertently given them ammunition or a need to talk ill of me.

Sounds kind of fake because having a thigh gap is something men generally find attractive and women generally want. Also it's a very odd thing to pick up on and ridicule.

I probably cross their mind from time-to-time as we did have good memories together. I'm not fussed if they come into my thoughts, as I'm just accepting of why we ended. Acceptance is the best medicine for happiness.

The obsession with the thigh gap is a relatively new thing. This was 11 years ago for me. This is not fake, but I agree it's a stupid thing to insult someone over. I guess that's the best they had against me.

I think about it a lot. I really wish I knew more about what they think of me because I actually still really care a lot about most of them. I'm sure they've nothing nice to say about me though. Probably the most prominent thing would be that I'm either way too clingy or way too distant and shy. I doubt I cross any of their minds anymore, except for the last one that is because she's obsessed and won't leave me alone.

They probably don't say very good things lol. Mostly they probably tell people that I'm annoying because I tend to be a bit clingy. Of course, I've only had two relationships and they were both major a-holes who barely talked to me... so of course when I actually did, I tried to enjoy that time to fullest. Didn't help that it was long distance, either lol. Oh the naivete of youth... It really doesn't matter what they say, because I can say a lot worse lol

Man, I'm clingy too. Glad I'm not the only one.
