From all the reviewers and others, they're giving Tsubasa Chronicles a "disappointing". I haven't seen it yet (will by the weekend), but it sounds like TC might not live up to the CCS expectations...Again, this is the opinions of the reviewers and guys watching.

From what I've seen of the anime, it looks like the character designs weren't as good IMO, but aside from that, I don't know anything about it (except for the small parts that I've seen in XXXholic). :-/

meh, only 1 episode has been released, so i can't really think of much you can base the "disappointing" off of, but the animation is different...which is probably the reason (once you get used to 1 animation, the same character with a different animaiton would look wierd) but meh...manga wise i find it pretty much equal...i kinda like the idea of tying all of Clamp's previous series into one big alternate dimension show

Well, the character designs looked allmost identical to the manga...Which may be a bad thing depending on your take of CLAMPs new style. The music was well done, and the show was pretty fast paced as well, I just didn't like the animation style. I've never really been fond of it...The arms and legs seem way to long then they should be x.x;

I just downloaded and watched episodes one and two. I really like it. ^^; I think I've gotten used to the style, which isn't nearly as irksome as it is in the manga -- you don't notice the unproportionate arms in the anime as much. x_X; The animation is pretty fluid, too, and I'm quite pleased with the quality of it. (Then again, I haven't watched any new anime in a while, so maybe the quality just happens to be better than the older stuff I'm watching. XD)

It's really weird hearing Sakura speak without Tange Sakura's voice. x_X; It just sounds so strange and that'll take a lot of getting used to. For the most part, though, the anime seems to be well done.

Question: Which day do they normally release the next subbed episode on? x_o; (...or is there no set "schedule" at all? o_O)

Aah, I haven't watched any CCS in a long time. @[email protected] And I haven't even seen the entire series, lol. (It got too expensive. ^^;)

I love Kero, though. <3

I have the whole series..don't worry! It ends nicely...At first,I was like,"Nooo! I hate the ends of mangas!" Cause,you know..you're so used to going to the store,getting a new one..and reading it..like you're in the middle part of a book...anyways...CCS and Tsubasa are both really great!

not really "set" yet since epi 2 hasn't been released...the "not so good" subs(IMO) released about monday-tuesday, the next released wednesday-thursday, and then the last released thursday...least thats what i think...not totally sure though

o really? haven't been paying much attention XD meh gotta go get it now then XD

even though so far i didn't like that group's subbing, they're still the fastest
You mean subbing as far as translation? As long as I get the jist of what they're saying, it's fine with me. x_X I try to just pick out a few words from the subtitles and understand the rest on my own so that I can practice my Japanese anyway.

The release date for Tsubasa 5 is April '05, so it should be out now or at least fairly soon.

X3 I'll have to bug my friend to go buy it so I can borrow it off him~
