Since Fire Red has been completed, I am now moving on to HeartGold. I expect this to be the hardest game due to having to defeat Red with only two Pokemon, but thankfully this Gen is much kinder to Golduck. I will update this post with the log of the game and will notify when I complete it. Afterwards, I will move on to Omega Ruby.

EDIT: Sorry it took so long to to add the log. I wasted an ENTIRE day grinding for coins in the game corner to buy the TMs for Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. But alas, here is the mostly completed log of Heartgold.
EDIT 2: All 16 badges have been collected! All there is to do now is grind for Red! Expect an update later tonight for his defeat!
EDIT 3: Red has been beaten! The team ended up being Golduck Lv. 86 and Mr. Mime Lv. 88. Snorlax was the hardest by far of his team due to his massive bulk, and the rest were somewhat challenging but manageable with abusing their weaknesses and hail.

Spoiler:

Falkner:
Psyduck/Brie Lv. 11
Moves: Water Gun, Tail Whip, Scratch, Water Sport
Mr. Mime/ The Joker Lv. 11
Moves: Confusion, Barrier, Guard Swap, Copycat
Commentary: Continuing with the tradition, I named Psyduck after a type of cheese and Mr. Mime after a Batman villain. Anyways, its been a while since I've last played a Johto game, but I'm starting to remember why I took the long hiatus from them. Not to bash on the game, overall it's great, it just isn't a favorite of mine.

Bugsy:
Psyduck/Brie Lv. 20
Moves: Water gun, scratch, Confusion, Tail Whip
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 20
Moves: Confusion, Double Slap, Barrier, Copycat
Commentary: Now I DEFINITELY remember why I do not like this game. The grinding is horrendous and took over an hour to get both of them to level 18. Thankfully the gyms can steer them in the right direction faster with their abundance of exp. which is why they both went up 2 levels. Also, this is the first time I have ever had one of the duo faint. After getting a Barrier up, Scyther critted Mr. Mime and got a OHKO with U-Turn leaving Psyduck alone for the entire battle.

Whitney:
Psyduck/Brie Lv. 24
Moves: Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Confusion, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 22
Moves: Confusion, Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Barrier
Commentary: Not too difficult. Mr. Mime's barrier comes in handy at stopping heavy hitters like Miltank this early on. NOTE: This is why the log was so late, as I spent hours trying to get Thunderbolt and Ice Beam for the two.

Morty:
Psyduck Lv. 28 Moves: Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Confusion, Headbutt
Mr. Mime Lv. 29 Moves: Psybeam, IB, LS, BARRIER

Chuck:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 34
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 32
Moves: Psybeam, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Mr. Mime OP. A single Barrier wasn't even necessary as Mr. Mime OHKO'd both Primeape and Poliwrath. He is truly the sweeper of the duo.

Jasmine:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 35
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 32
Moves: Psybeam, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Golduck finally had his chance to clear a gym by himself. OHKO on everybody with Surf. I'd say he's the bulkier of the duo.

Pryce:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 41
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 40
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Not a challenge at all. Easily destroyed with Surf for Piloswine and Thunderbolt for everything else in the gym. I've also noticed how much easier and more balanced levels are in this game when it's just a team of two.

Clair:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 46
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 47
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Another Golduck sweep. Ice Beam really wrecked house and got insanely lucky on Kingdra. Freezed the first turn, second turn was bland, third turn I hit with Headbutt and got the flinch as Kingdra thawed out, froze with Ice Beam AGAIN as she healed, and got crit Ice Beam the next turn to bring home victory. Sometimes the RNGods just look down and smile.

E4/Champ:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 51
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 53
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary:
Will: Nothing too special. He got lucky with Confuse Ray hax at the beginning on Mr. Mime, but Mr. Mime pulled through and swept with Shadow Ball.
Koga: Almost embarrassing how easy he was. Psychic OHKO'd his entire team and took less than 5 minutes to sweep.
Bruno: A little higher than Will level difficulty. Confusion from Golduck didn't get the KO on Hitmonlee so some HP was lost, but a switch to Mr. Mime easy cleaned the rest of his team.
Clair: Probably the hardest out of the entire E4+Champion. I had nothing to stop Umbreon from setting up, so it took well over 10 minutes trying to hit it after 6 Double Teams. Eventually pulled through and got the sweep with Mr. Mime. Thankfully, the rest of her team either died to Psychic and Thunderbolt from Mr. Mime, or Surf from Golduck.
Lance: Pathetically easy. Thunderbolted Gyarados and swept with Ice Beam from Golduck. OHKO on everything.

POST E4: NOTE: They will be out of order from their actual positions, as I fought/fight them as I find their gym. For example, Lt. Surge is first because he's the first Kanto gym leader I fought, even though Brock would normally be the first gym leader of Kanto.

Lt. Surge:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 51
Moves: Confusion, Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 55
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: First gym leader of Kanto! Yay progress! I definitely was not expecting such high levels from his team and they took me off guard, but Mr. Mime came through with a nice sweep at the end.

Sabrina:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 51
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 57
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: I've finally found the TM for Psychic! Oddly enough, Mr. Psychic is now a fisherman in this game... Anyway, I feel bad for there being such a huge gap in levels between Golduck and Mr. Mime. Mr. Mime was the clear sweeper, but I had to switch to Golduck after Sabrina's Mr. Mime mimic'd my Shadow Ball and made me eat a crit one in return. Surfed his way right into victory.

Erika:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 57
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 57
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: I felt bad after seeing the huge gap between Golduck and Mr. Mime in levels, so I decided to grind Golduck up about 5 levels to be closer to Mr. Mime. Golduck got a surprising amount of KOs in there with Ice Beam and swept Erika's entire team by himself. Not bad.

Janine:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 59
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 57
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Somehow she managed to be even easier than Koga in the Elite Four. Golduck swept with Psychic and made her look like a fool. That's what you get for using two Ariados, Janine. They suck, just like you.

Misty:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 59
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 60
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Pretty much self explanatory with Mr. Mime's Thunderbolt. Swept her team and used Psychic on Quagsire.

Brock:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 62
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 60
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: This, too, was very easy with Golduck's Surf. He even managed to OHKO Omastar and Kabutops. Looks like he's a higher level now than Mr. Mime! Oh how the tables have turned!

Blaine:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 64
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 60
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Another perfect Golduck sweep. Surf was a OHKO on everybody.

Blue:
Golduck/Brie Lv. 65
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Headbutt, Psychic
Mr. Mime/The Joker Lv. 61
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Barrier
Commentary: Surprisingly more difficult than I expected. Really underestimated Exeggutor and thought I could KO with Ice Beam. NOPE. Leaf Storm was a OHKO and forced me to switch to Mr. Mime. Swept pretty easily afterwards aside from Arcanine.

2/6 Gens are now complete in my Ultimate run! HG was likely the hardest mainly due to grinding, so I'm expecting some faster updates! I'll now start on Omega Ruby and trade over the duo as eggs, and the Exp. Share will be OFF for this run! I will update this post with the log, so get ready!

EDIT: The log is started! So far it's only Roxanne beaten due to a family emergency, but have no fear! More is coming!
EDIT 2: Sorry for the delay! Things have been pretty busy at school at whatnot, so progress will resume shortly. Now there's just a single badge left to get!
EDIT 3: Game complete! Steven has been beaten! Complete log below.
Spoiler:

Roxanne:
Team:
Psyduck/Gruyere Lv. 13
Moves: Water Gun, Confusion, Scratch, Tail Whip
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 13
Moves: Confusion, Barrier, Power Swap, Copycat
Commentary: Once again, the duo is named after cheese and batman villains! I also find myself missing the automatic Running Shoes from Heart Gold... Anyway, the gym was a piece of cake with Psyduck. Water Gun one shotted Geodude and took 3 shots to KO Nosepass. Not stellar work, but it got the job done.

Brawly:
Team:
Psyduck/Gruyere Lv. 16
Moves: Water Gun, Confusion, Scratch, Tail Whip
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 15
Moves: Confusion, Barrier, Psywave, Copycat
Commentary: I want the duo to be closer this time in levels after the huge gaps that occured in Heart Gold, so I let Psyduck beat the trainers and Brawly's Machop, and Mr. Mime OHKO'd Makuhita with Confusion. I'm so unfamiliar with Mr. Mime's level-up moveset in this game. Since when did he learn Psywave and Mimic at the same level? Oh well, definitely not looking forward to the Elite Four this game, especially since the first 2 could easily beat the duo. For now, I'll just focus on the next gym!

Wattson:
Team:
Psyduck/Gruyere Lv. 25
Moves: Water Gun, Confusion, Aerial Ace, Screech
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 24
Moves: Confusion, Barrier, Charge Beam, Reflect
Commentary: EXTREMELY difficult battle, probably the hardest in the entire challenge so far. Thunderwave spam ruined any possible sweep with Mr. Mime and Wattson Volt Switched more than Elesa did. I also forgot that Mr. Mime became Fairy, so I had to deal with super effective Magnet Bombs from Magneton. Grueling battle that took 15 minutes to complete. Hopefully things look up from here.

Flannery:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 33
Moves: Water Pulse, Zen Headbutt, Aerial Ace, Screech
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 34
Moves: Psybeam, Barrier, Reflect, Charge Beam
Commentary: It's a long way from Wattson to Flannery what with the Team Magma antics. Easy sweep though with Golduck's Water Pulse. I feel like my movesets are almost identical for each gen and I don't want that, but then I realize that it's the most optimal sets for each. I'll decide later if I want to change it up.

Norman:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 35
Moves: Water Pulse, Zen Headbutt, Aerial Ace, Screech
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 36
Moves: Psybeam, Barrier, Charge Beam, Reflect
Commentary: It's convenient to have the rival take you right back to Petalburg. Truly made it a much easier journey. During the fight, I had to get a little creative since I had no SE moves to abuse (A.K.A. spam Barrier and Reflect then use Charge Beam for boosted S.A.). I was able to OHKO the last Slaking at +4 with Psybeam. Gonna take the sea route and grab Ice Beam for Golduck to deal with upcoming Dragons.

Winona:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 45
Moves: Surf, Zen Headbutt, Aerial Ace, Screech
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 44
Moves: Psychic, Barrier, Charge Beam, Dazzling Gleam
Commentary: As soon as I stepped on the Abandoned Ship, I realized that I couldn't get the TM for Ice Beam until after Tate and Liz, so there goes the idea of sweeping with Ice spam. Without even knowing it, I found a Fairy-Tale girl and got Dazzling Gleam for Mr. Mime. Yay exploration! Anyway, the Institute was easy and Mr. Mime swept Winona with Charge Beam on everything and Dazzling Gleam on Altaria. Might be awhile until the next update since there's so much story to do after this. Until then!

Tate and Liz:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 51
Moves: Surf, Zen Headbutt, Aerial Ace, Screech
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 51
Moves: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Protect, Dazzling Gleam
Commentary: Not gonna lie, I used a pretty cheap tactic for this battle. I replaced Charge Beam with Protect on Mr. Mime and used Surf with Golduck to take down Lunatone and Solrock. OHKO on Solrock but Lunate survived with about 1/4 of its life, so Shadow Balled it to death. Pretty easy win (because of how cheap I am).

Wallace:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 54
Moves: Surf, Zen Headbutt, Calm Mind, Ice Beam
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 54
Moves: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam
Commentary: Lots of moveset updates. Calm Mind and Ice Beam for Golduck (actually went back to the Sea Mauville to get in with the newly learned Dive). Thunderbolt for Mr. Mime rather than lackluster Charge Beam, but I will miss its Sp. Attack boost. Wallace was easy, Thunderbolt everything and Psychic Whiscash. Now I'm off to the Pokemon League and about to finish up the third game!

ELITE FOUR:
Sydney:
Commentary: Incredibly easy. Dazzling Gleam swept his entire team without a single problem.

Phoebe:
Commentary: Somewhat difficult. Dusclops/Dusknoir was bulky so they were able to survive a Shadow Ball and spammed Confuse Ray. Annoying, but manageable.

Glacia:
Commentary: Somewhat difficult as well. Glalie, while mediocre, was left with a sliver of health after Psychic from Mr. Mime and set up Light Screen, making matters tedious and annoying. Hardest of the bunch.

Drake:
Commentary: Very easy. 6 Calm Minds on Golduck and swept with Ice Beam.

Steven:
Team:
Golduck/Gruyere Lv. 61
Moves: Surf, Psychic, Calm Mind, Ice Beam
Mr. Mime/The Penguin Lv. 62
Moves: Psychic, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam
Commentary: Average. Foolishly forgot to switch Mr. Mime for first so had to try and set up Calm Mind and sweep. Got as far as Metagross with Golduck, but Giga Impact from Mega Metagross creamed Golduck. Mr. Mime cleaned up with Shadow Ball and thus ended Omega Ruby.

So I got further and earned 4 badges, and I had no problems with any of them really...
Snorlax made a splashing impression after demolishing Misty... welp, at least I tried to be original.
Dratini than makes his first major appearance when he wrap spams My rival to death, and Lt. Surge follows shortly after that.
Made it through Rock Tunnel with no problems except PP.
Crushed Rival using the combination of Dragonair's Wrap + Thunderbolt and Snorlax's Bubblebeam against Sandshrew.
Erika was easily defeated by Dragonair's Wrap + Body Slam Combo.
And now I'm currently about to take on The Rocket Base to get that Silph Scope.

Current Team
Snorlax Level 36
-Psychic
-Ice Beam
-Body Slam
-Submission
Dragonair Level 36
-Wrap
-Body Slam
-Thunder Wave
-Thunderbolt
HM Slave
Charmander Level 10 (Cut)

Snorlax Stats:174 HP/102 Attack/64 Defense/37 Speed/68 Special
Dragonair Stats:109 HP/84 Attack/65 Defense/70 Speed/72 Special

And that's it but I'm gonna try to beat Yellow tonight and move on to Crystal. If I do at least get 8 Badges than I'll update again.

With Omega Ruby completed, I'm halfway through the challenge! I'm moving on to Platinum next, so I'll update this post with the log of the game.

EDIT: Log has been added!
EDIT 2: Sorry for the delay again! But once again, I needed to grind for money to purchase TMs!

Spoiler:

GYM LEADERS:

Roark:
Team:
Psyduck/Swiss Lv. 14
Moves: Water Gun, Scratch, Tail Whip, Water Sport
Mr. Mime/Two Face Lv. 12
Moves: Confusion, Guard Swap, Power Swap, Barrier
Commentary: Following tradition, the duo is once again named after cheese and a Batman villain! They're off to a fantastic start as well! Psyduck OHKO'd everybody in the gym, including Cranidos with a critical hit! Grinding was much better this time around, as Mr. Mime actually had Confusion. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come!

Gardenia:
Psyduck/Swiss Lv. 23
Moves: Water Pulse, Confusion, Scratch, Water Sport
Mr. Mime/Two Face Lv. 22
Moves: Confusion, Barrier, Light Screen, Reflect
Commentary: Another easy sweep! Mr. Mime dominated with Confusion and beautifully confused Cherrim, the only real problem due to being plain Grass. This run is going really well so far!

Fantina:
Psyduck/Swiss Lv. 32
Moves: Water Pulse, Scratch, Screech, Confusion
Mr. Mime/Two Face Lv. 29
Moves: Psybeam, Substitute, Light Screen, Barrier
Commentary: The RNGods are really on my side this time! I set up Light Screen on Duskull to lighten the blows of Mismagius. Psyduck and Light Screen soaked up Magical Leaves and dealt back Water Pulses, even getting Confusion hax on her! Mismagius hit herself every single time, so it was no problem sweeping with Psyduck. Confusion easily took care of Haunter. Things are looking really good so far!

Maylene:
Team:
Golduck/Swiss Lv. 35
Moves: Water Pulse, Confusion, Scratch, Screech
Mr. Mime/Two FaceLv. 35
Moves: Psybeam, Substitute, Light Screen, Barrier
Commentary: Mr. Mime returns to the sweeping throne! He Psybeam'd his way to victory and OHKO'd both Machoke and Meditite. Lucario took 2 to go down, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, pretty easy battle!

Crasher Wake:
Team:
Golduck/Swiss Lv. 38
Moves: Confusion, Scratch, Water Pulse, Ice Beam
Mr. Mime/Two Face Lv. 41
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Light Screen, Barrier
Commentary: Mr. Mime sweeps again! Thunderbolt, while pricey and tedious to obtain, was definitely worth the wait! It carried him through the whole gym and took down all of Wake's team (Except Quagsire who went down to a Psychic).

Candace:
Team:
Golduck/Swiss Lv. 53
Moves: Surf, Scratch, Zen Headbutt, Ice Beam
Mr. Mime/Two Face Lv. 48
Moves: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, Light Screen
Commentary: Didn't use Mr. Mime nearly as much as I thought I would have. Golduck sweeped most of the gym including all of Candace aside from Abomasnow. Mr. Mime got a lucky Psychic and lowered his Sp. Def, but took Wood Hammer and fainted. Golduck cleaned up with Ice Beam and got us the 7th badge!

I will be playing Pokemon Ruby with treecko's evolutionary line, and a Mawile. I have no hacking devices, but since Mawile is obtainable almost immediately after the first gym where I'd be using trecko only anyways, I feel this is a fair set up. On my most recent playthrough these two Pokemon worked pretty well together, so I'm going to see if the two of them can finish the whole game, despite neither one being particularly good. If I even make it to the elite four, I'd consider the playthrough a victory.

Will update as I progress.

Sorry I have not posted in like a week or two. I've just been busy with life and other stuff, but now I'm ready to start posting again. I beat Yellow which gave me no trouble throughout the rest of the game except when trying to manage my pp at the elite four, as I forgot to grab my elixirs and ethers out my pc x_x but either way Yellow is complete. Now onto Crystal. Hopefully this won't be hard when it comes to Red...

Hey man, are we allowed to use roms such as perfect soul silver, emerald Z, Blaze Black 2, etc? They are base games that are a bit more harder due to more pokemon available and a revamped move/learnset?

Yes, you can use those in both Single and Ultimate, as long the region and story are still pretty much the same.
Full Hacks however (new region and story, like Light Platinum) can only be used in singles.

Aww, wish I had seen the bit about Pokémon Amie being banned! I unfortunately already got both mine up to full affection. :< Is there any handicap I could take so I could still play the challenge without having to go through the hassle of IV/egg move breeding my two again?

"If a Pokémon is traded to a Trainer who is not their Original Trainer, the Pokémon's affection will reset to 0 (enjoyment and fullness are unaffected). If the Pokémon is traded back to its Original Trainer, though, its affection will be restored to the value it had before the Original Trainer traded it away." - Bulbapedia

Given your X game isn't the OT (I assume), try trading and then trading back to see if that resets it.

Pokemon: The Dawn Stone buddies, #475 Gallade and #478 Froslass

NOTES:
Due to there only being no Dawn Stones obtainable before the E4, I will be hacking in a pair of them just before the 3rd gym, as all main evo stones (Leaf, Thunder, Water, Sun, Moon) are obtainable by then through the Underground. I will probably also hack in a Heart Scale or 3 due to Luvdisc not being obtainable Pre-E4, and imma need like 8 of the things tbh. Also this will be slow to start due to my Ultimate Monograss.

Should be good prep incase I try an ultimate solo of some sort (likely Gallade tbh)

Derp, I meant Alpha Sapphire.

And actually, no. I bred the eggs on my X version and then traded them to Alpha Sapphire and hatched them there so the OT is the same as AS. <.<;; So there's no way to reset it.

Seems like fun!
Would love to try it out too.

Pokemon: Flareon & Zoroark

Since none of the two are available before 1st Gym -
Eevee isn't catchable until Route 10 (after second badge)
Zoroark isn't catchable until Route 20 (after the 7th badge)
I have 3 different 3DS Systems, can I just breed both 'mons and send them as eggs to the challenge team.
I'll get challenge started with the approval.
I ♥ Foxes and Cats!! - art i drew myself
instead of 'Catch 'em All' for me would be "gotta Pet 'Em All"

2. Hacking and Trading is forbidden, except in these cases:
2a. You are using a Pokemon not available before the first badge.

2b. You are using a Pokemon not in the Regional Pokedex.
If one of these apply, you may hack at the beginning at level 5 or lower, or as an egg. (HAs and Egg Moves are allowed, as for IVs, idc)
I read that as you are clear to go, given it's what I just did lol

Uhhhh anyway... Ill just throw out a baseline with natures and nicknames and such, and to set a post format. leggo.

Diamond Duo-Species Challenge (0/8):

Important Events:
Spoiler:
- Change the starters using UPR to make Snover a starter
- Boot game, name myself Inigo and my rival Rugan
- Get a female Snover first try. Yus.
- Do obligatory pre-game crap, nickname her Buttercup.
- Check nature. Serious (Spd>Spd). Not the worst that could happen, I'll take it.
- Activate my AR and acquire Westley the male Ralts on like the 10th Ralts encounter (anyone seeing a pattern in the names?)
- Check his nature: Serious again lol. THIS IS FATE.
- Grab those Dawn Stones while I'm at it. Not using them until 3rd gym tho.
- Realize my AR is still on and I forgot to turn off the exp boost cheat. Oh well, it should even out after the first Rival battle.
- Beat up said Rival after the Jublife crap.
- Save the game.

Team @ Route 203:

Buttercup (Snover) Lv11
Female | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Ice Body
- Powder Snow
- Leer
- Double Team
- Bite

Westley (Ralts) Lv12
Male | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Trace
- Growl
- Confusion
- Double Team
- Teleport

Thanks!
I'll get started as soon as possible.
I'm about to update my other challenge.

Have the two eggs transferred - now doing about 8,000 runs around Aquacorde Town until the two eggs hatch
Edit - the eggs hatch, here's the proof from my 3DS XL

Zorua - it evolves at level 30, so for a short while it will have to be Zorua.
(bred male Zoroark with a female Zoroark)
Spoiler:

Eevee - will make it evolve as soon as possible.
(bred male Espeon with female Sylveon)
Spoiler:

The other 2 Pokeballs
one of them belongs to the starter, Fennekin
the second Heal Ball belongs to a Stunky from the other PokeCommunity challenge, mainly so I could transfer a Fire Stone

Both of them will go to the PC Box once I get to Santalune City, can't access the PC until then.

So far:
- Aquacorde Town, transferred eggs and hatched them
- Santalune Forest, battling the trainers
I"m following my tradition for all games battling all trainers (including those in gyms), not running away from wild Pokemon (I will attempt to catch the Pokemon I don't have), sort of document how my gym battles went.

Diamond Duo-Species Challenge (1/8):

Since I'm already hacking in my pokemon, there is no shame in hacking in a couple HM slaves and a few M-Balls to catch them with, is there? WELL TOO BAD!

Also, you are only doing it right when your AR codes have such names as "this is cheating" (Ralts encounter), "this is cheating more" (999x Dawn Stone), "Oh please..." (Shiny Giratina encounter) and ofc "GIMME DAT BOOTY" (Shiny Rayquaza encounter)

EDIT: I went ahead and did more things. Post updated.

Important Events:
Spoiler:
- Reach Oreburgh City
- Find Roark in the mine
- Go to gym, beat trainers, etc.
- VS Roark: Easy gym. Buttercup takes down Geodude and Onix in an Icy Wind apeice, and Cranidos decides to spam Pursuit, which allows me to 3hko it with more Icy Wind spam
- Realize that I will need HM slaves and look up how to get all 8 HMs onto 2 pokemon.
- Hack in a few M-Balls and a Shiny Rayquaza and Giratina to serve as HM slaves. HUEHUEHUE!!!
- Beat up the Galactic scum in Jubilife.
- Made my way up to Floroma Town and did the Galactic crap there.
- Mars' Purugly is absurdly powerful. I end up grinding all the way to Lv20 with no decent way to do so
- Oh yea, Westley evolves into Kirlia.
- VS Mars: On the 10th try, Buttercup is finally powerful enough to defeat Purugly with a barrage of Icy Winds and Headbutts
- Forest, etc.
- VS Gardenia: I C Y W I N D
- Facerush my way to Hearthome.
- VS Rival Rugan: EZ
- Blow past the Veilstone gym, and head down to Pastoria.
- Spend 6 years underground Heart Scale farming
- Blow a pair of Dawn Stones and a metric ton (2) of Scales to get ready for gyms
- Head back north to Vilestone
- VS Maylene: P S Y C H O C U T
- VS Wake: L E A F B L A D E
- Do the Celestic Town crap
- Head to Hearthome and call it a zzzzz

Team @ 5th Gym:

Buttercup (Froslass) Lv34
Female | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Snow Cloak
- Icy Wind
- Shadow Ball
- Double Team
- Wake-Up Slap

Westley (Gallade) Lv21
Male | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Steadfast
- Leaf Blade
- Night Slash
- Psycho Cut
- Drain Punch

Ft. BAWK the Shiny Rayquaza (Rock Smash/Fly/Surf) and DAHKNEZZ the Shiny Giratina (Defog)

Next update!
Mozart, male Eevee, evolved to Flareon via the Fire Stone, I know that Zorua will take a whle (still has 18 levels to go through)

Santalune Forest & Route 22:
Not much from battling trainers and catching a few Pokemon.

Against Viola:
Zorua vs Surskit
Spoiler:
Milo comes out disguised as Flareon, so Surskit assumes it's a fire type so it starts off with 'Water Sport' had Milo give an intimidating stare with 'Leer'. Next up that water bug goes for 'Quick Attack' had Milo attack with 'Pursuit' - same thing done with second turn. That second pursuit was enough to make Surskit faint.

Flareon vs Vivillon
Spoiler:
Forgotten that Water Sport was still in effect so fire attacks where weakened. Vivillon started the battle off with 'Infestation' Mozart the Flareon attempts to take it down with 'Ember' wasn't too effective due to that Water Sport. Same thing with the second turn... finally before the third attacks Water Sport ended, this time, Vivillon attacked with 'Tackle' finally, 'Ember' from Mozart is enough for Vivillon to faint.

Team members:
Milo, the Zorua:
Spoiler:

Mozart, the Flareon

Diamond Duo-Species Challenge (Complete!):

*Grabs easy button*

Important Events:
Spoiler:
- Wait I haven't updated since Fantina? Crap.
- VS Fantina: I won. Easily.
- VS Rival Rugan (Canalave City): See above.
- Train on Iron Island for as long as it takes to beat all the trainers
- VS Bryon: Buttercup took out Bronzor, and Westley took out the other two with a trio of Drain Punches to the mouth
- The galactic stuff happens
- VS Candice: D R A I N P U N C H
- More Galactic nonsence, Cyrus provides no resistance
- Mt. Cornet. Cyrus again provides no resistance.
- M-Ball Dialga
- VS Volkner: E A R T H Q U A K E
- VS Rival Rugan (League): Easy. I'm overlevelled.
- VS Aaron: Also easy.
- VS Bertha: Easier than the last two.
- VS Flint: Flint causes no problems until Infernape, who outspeeds and KOes Westley for the first time since the Jupiter/Mars double battle Buttercup gets off an Icy Wind, and a Revive allows Westley to grab the kill of the now slower Infernape.
- VS Lucian: Ok, now we got ourselves a problem. First of all, we are apparently no longer overlevelled, because Cynthia's G-Chomp is 16 levels higher than Rugan's Heracross. Subsequently, Alakazam outspeeds both members of my team. A few Revives and a lot of Shadow Balls later, I finally beat the man.
- VS CYNTHIA:
  • Buttercup v Spiritomb: Spiritomb decides not to go for any SE moves while Shadow Ball 2HKOes
  • Westley vs Gastrodon: L E A F B L A D E
  • Westley vs Roserade: P S Y C H O C U T
  • Buttercup (w/ support from Westley) v Garchomp: Garchomp easily takes out the damaged Buttercup. Westley comes in as death fodder to Max Revive her, and Icy Wind and Ice Beam take out the Lv66 dragon.
  • Westley (w/ support from Buttercup) v Lucario: Westley is still KOed, so Buttercup becomes the death fodder to revive Westley, who uses Close Combat
  • Westley v Milotic: L E A F B L A D E
- CHALLENGE COMPLETE!

FINAL TEAM:

Buttercup (Froslass) Lv58 @ Spell Tag
Female | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Snow Cloak
- Icy Wind
- Shadow Ball
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

Westley (Gallade) Lv60 @ Fist Plate
Male | Serious (Spd>Spd) | Steadfast
- Leaf Blade
- Earthquake
- Psycho Cut
- Drain Punch

Ft. BAWK the Shiny Rayquaza (Rock Smash/Fly/Surf/Waterfall) and DAHKNEZZ the Shiny Giratina (The rest of them)

This was probably my best Diamond run ever. Gallade is so OP ingame with access to so many coverage moves upon evolution, and Froslass is always fun to use. I think this is a good time to either do a Gallade Solo Run or come up with my own challenge.
