Haha, I think your avatar looks quite nice :) it's cute, and fits the Halloween theme perfectly!

By the way, I'm currently running a contest over in Arts & Design, and there's some pretty nifty prizes to be won. You guys should go and check it out! It's most certainly a Halloween contest. ^.^

I went away but now I'm back again! ^_^

Don't know what Hocus Pocus is? I'm a little worried.

Hocus Pocus is the most amazing movie made, and it's a tradition for us oldie peeps to watch it during the Halloween season. <3 Basically it's about three witch sisters who get resurrected by the main characters and start to wreck havoc on Halloween night.

I might have seen it once before, but don't exactly remember much things, unfortunately.

So, guys; is there any Halloween-related game that you're particularly fond of? For me, I have a few, but first and foremost would have to be Banjo-Kazooie. Basically, the game's main antagonist is a witch known as Gruntilda, whose goal, if I remember correctly, is to kidnap Banjo's small sister, and steal all of her youth with magic so that she could become beautiful. In turn, his sister would turn into a monster.

As Banjo, you set out to do missions and collect puzzle pieces with your friend, Kazooie, so that you would finally be able to get to the witch and rescue your sister. There are many ways in which you could fail, and if you do, Gruntilda would successfully accomplish her task, and the game would, unfortunately, be over.

Personally, I've gone through Banjo-Kazooie for approximately five to six times. Regardless of how much I do play, this game just never seems to turn boring or tiresome, really. The series has been put on ice for some time, though, but I'm hoping that they break it some day and perhaps give it a reboot, if possible. I've heard they'd released a Banjo-Kazooie game for PS3 few years back, but I never got to play it, as I don't have the console. Plus, its reviews also weren't too great, which caused me to not look into it. If they bring it back to Nintendo with all of their original style of gameplay, graphics, mechanics, and so forth, it would surely be wonderful!

This actually looks like fun. :O

Anyway, I'm either going to wear my Loki hoodie or go as Rainbow Dash this year. I haven't really decided on what I want to do. Both of them seem like awesome things to do when passing out candy.

Omg! I love that movie. <3 Another favorite of mine is The Nightmare Before Christmas. :3 That has to be one of the greatest movies ever made. XD

I don't really know any halloween-related games. Does Kingdom Hearts count? It does have a halloween theme when you go to Halloweentown in the games. XD

Added those who just came in the club to paaaaarty~

Played Silent Hill for PlayStation a looong time ago. One of the most amazing games that didn't freak me out, but rather game me a sense of adrenaline when playing. Now I want to buy that game again.

Also on a funny note. I'm in my 2nd class right now and my professor tuned in to a Halloween station on Pandora. Billie Jean by MJ is played. Not sure if mistake or idk. xD

I'm not sure if anyone in my college aside from the professors will dress up, haha. Hmmm, I have a glorious Cat in the Hat costume that maybe I can use.. o:

My workplace is already decked out for Halloween, especially the Front-End crew. idk if we're allowed to dress up though, and idk if I'm working on Halloween either. xD (it's on a friday and I'm off Fridays, sooo doubt it lol).

I never dress out for Halloween at my uni.

I got a topic in regards to costumes! What was your favorite costume as a kid?

I used to have a lot of costumes when I was a kid (about nine or so, if I remember correctly).

Of all costumes that I did have, my most favorite would likely have to be a vampire one, which was completely black with red cape. It also came with a set of fangs as well as black lipstick, which definitely added to its touch. Loved going trick-or-treating by putting them all on! Though, last time I'd actually worn it would be about eight years ago or so. Still have it in my basement.

Aside from above, I was also pretty fond of the Cinderella outfit that my dad had gotten. Was very attached to its coloring! I've worn for only one Halloween, though, so afterward, it was still completely new, and I decided to keep it somewhere safe so that I could give it to my sister when she gets bigger. (She's big enough now, but haven't exactly tried it on yet, unfortunately, as my parents constantly get her new costumes every Halloween.)

I was a huge Disney Princess fan when I was a kid. I was Snow White for two years straight, then I was Cinderella, and then Pocahontas. Then I got older and moved on to much...awesomer costumes. I was the Green M&M, then a bunny, then a tiger. When I got to high school I wore the same "sexy-ish" bat costume for four years straight, because I really loved that costume I didn't want to go for something new (plus I couldn't really afford a brand new one at the time).

Not even at parties? That surprises me if that's the case.

I'm not sure if any people from my college will actually be dressing up. Well, I know one might; few months ago, my friend sent me a picture of her witch costume that she had made (or rather, helped make), and if she still has it with her, she'll likely be wearing it also. It looked very pretty! Not exactly sure if I could put together such a dress myself, personally; have never looked into it, haha.

Hey guys! 20 days left till Halloween!~ Hope everyone's houses got their decor decked out, and chosen your costumes already, and even got the CANDY ready to go ($6.99 for a 10 pound bag at Costco yeeeeeeeeeeeeah).

It's harder in college because of scheduling and all that. It's on a Friday and I don't go to class on Friday. It'll be empty :P In high school we always have a mini carnival such as a costume contest, a Thriller dance off, and more. Pretty fun :D

Anyone have any scary stories to tell? I have one, going to type it out later on when I have a bit of free time. :)

Me and a friend of mine plan to dress up on the 30th, because nobody has Friday classes at my college. It'll be interesting seeing how many people do and don't dress up. If nobody dresses up, then I probably won't; thank gosh my outfit is something that can be removed easily.

People don't dress up because they have the mentality that halloween is only a "kid" holiday. Sadly my parents stand by that belief and I was criticized a few times during high school for dressing up for Halloween. I'm an adult now, so I be like "yeeeeeeeeah i'm just gonna have fun okay".

I haven't bought candies yet (or anything else, sadly), but am going to! They're selling bags of mini-KitKat for twenty-five percent off in one of the local supermarket stores, so will definitely be buying those. Maybe two bags, or even three. They're also offering small Reese's cups for the same price, and I might snatch one of their bags as well.

Last year I got sick from eating way too much candy, possibly too much chocolate because I took advantage of the post-halloween candy sales at target. I'll probably go for Tootsie Rolls or sour patch kids or anything that's gummy!

Prooobably I'll wait till then to buy candy to snack on for myself. :)

I got sick yesterday from eating too much candy, and it's not even Halloween yet. D:

How's everybody's Halloween preparation going? I just resubbed back onto World of Warcraft specifically for the event, and I've organised a bit of a movie shindig at my place on Halloween night with some friends I know. So excited!

I went away but now I'm back again! ^_^

Agh, I know that feeling! It was two days after Halloween where I had to go to the doctors and got diagnosed with an ulcer due to so much candy. xD

All is good right now. I should know if I'm working Halloween next week, once the schedule is out. My workplace is already decked out for Halloween, and I'm gonna ask if we're allowed to wear our costumes on that day (if I do work), if yes...I'm gonna be pretty exciteddd~ All in terms of preparations, everything is going super! 17 more days~

Haha, mouth ulcers are NOT a good time! I ate so much candy yesterday that today my mouth is simply refusing to adjust to savoury foods. Sucks so much, especially since I'm back home from a week away from work, and all I want to do is munch down on some nice home cooked meals!

That sound super fun! Your work place sounds rad. Halloween is the best theme ever in my opinion, Christmas coming in at a close second. I'm actually about to design some Halloween themed banners and stuff, if anybody in this club would like a C L U B N I G H T M A R E specific one feel free to let me know! I'm doing them anyway >.> <.<

Unfortunately I'm working on Friday the 31st (roof layer, can't get the day off argh) but due to my strict no drinking policy I'm going to be fresh all Halloween night! Can't. Wait.

I went away but now I'm back again! ^_^

Halloween on a Friday night sounds fun, albeit extremely crazy. Everyone's throwing Halloween parties all around and that also means YEAH DRUNK PARTIES AND STUFF. never really drank on Halloween before, because I always have to take my sister and nieces trick or treating, so there's never really time to drink haha.

Oh please, please! If you can also make a small banner for the club that would be aaaawesome~ (I'd do one, but busy busy right now haha).

I'd just enjoy being able to JOIN a Halloween bash for once. >:T

No, but seriously, Halloween is just that time of year to go a little crazy, AND be in the spirit of spooks and ghouls. It's a fun time, no question. Though, I do have to wonder. What would, oh I don't know, a drunk zombie look like? ;P

I sure can! I'll get to working on it tonight. ^.^

Found out if your work is gonna be cool and allow Halloween dress-ups?

Maybe it's just because I'm not really drinking anymore, but I don't even feel like partaking in a drink this Halloween. Last year I was absolutely blind, I ended up dressing up like a Disney Princess which after a few drinks became quite a problem for my girlfriend. :\

I am absolutely terrified of this gif you put in the splash Meg. It stares into my soul.

...

Nevermind, the URL I copied was wrong haha. It was the dancing skeleton in front of the grave spinning the shovel. So scary, much wow.

The splash rotates! xD It's one spooky gif and another it's a random skeleton dancing. Glad people are liking it!~

I literally act like a zombie when I'm drunk...that's what my friends say. So there's that.

What Halloween party activities do you guys partake? Maybe you guys build your own haunted houses and all that? ;3

I've never even thought of building my own haunted house until you just suggested it and I'm totally doing that this year!

I generally just enjoy watching scary movies and eating candy with my family. I don't spend much time with them so it's nice when we're all together. Usually with a take-away like some Indian food or something. We're doing that tonight actually, minus the scary movie part.

What Halloween activities do you usually partake in, Denny?
