Kingdom Hearts, you say? *appears immediately*

My copy of 2.5 arrived last Monday. I haven't had a ton of time to play it, but I'm just about finished Ven's story in BBS. (BBS is my favourite game in the world, so I'm not touching KH2 until I've finished it, haha.) The game is definitely worth the wait. It's gorgeous in HD. ♥

sadly I have to wait until December XD BUT I'm positive that it will be worth the wait! I love Ventus/Roxas!

When it comes to games in the Kingdom Hearts series, I have only played Chain of Memories, Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance. Of those three, the only one I own is Birth By Sleep. The Command Board in Birth By Sleep is a great way to level up the commands.

Kingdom Hearts is my favorite video game series. My Copy of 2.5 (Japanese) arrived last monday too! I started Kh2FM, imma beat the story then move on to BBSFM, and watch Coded's scenes, then do post game KH2FM and Post game BBSFM. KH2.5 is more beautiful than KH1.5 IMO. I love it! I only played the prologue of BBSFM (it looks BEAUTIFUL in HD :O ), but I've been working a lot too, trying to get ready for my daughter packing up a lot of items for her birth haha so been busy but in between I am playing 2.5 :)

I've always loved watching KH Let's Plays but... the only KH game I've played was Dream Drop Distance and that I just cannot beat. D: Stuck on the first world boss and am probably never going to move on from there lol. Wish there was a very easy mode for people that suck like me. :')

The only ones I've played are 1 and 2. I do like the series, but I could just never get into playing all of them though, don't think I'll ever bother with Chain of Memories or 358/2 Days. Kinda wish that they'd hurry up and release KH3 already. Gotta get around to borrowing and playing my sister's copy of Dream Drop Distance sometime too.

However, one that caught my interest was Birth By Sleep. Unfortunately that one was a PSP exclusive, and I don't have a PSP (or a Vita), so I never got the chance to play it. But then they announced KH 2.5, which is for the PS3 and includes both KH2 and BBS! Yay! So that's something on my list come December. Even though I kinda spoiled some of the story for myself.

Aww, I suggest everyone try to play the side games, if they can. They're actually all my favourites! (BBS > CoM > 3D > Days > KH2 > KH1 > Coded, in my personal preference--I do admit KH2 is a much better game objectively than pretty much all of the rest, though.) With 2.5's release, every game except 3D will be available on PS3 and Nomura (director of the series) has said that he thinks it would be weird if 3D were the only one left out, so I think we'll be seeing a 3D:FM on PS3 sometime before KH3 comes out.

My order is so spotty, it's crazy. I never had a PS2 as a kid and I finally got one in 2009, well into the PS3 era. So the order I played was Days > KH2 > Re: CoM > DDD > KH1. I haven't finished some of those though. I need to get 1.5 for the first one. I cannot deal with the camera on the PS2 version...I don't know how people made it through back then. Like I really don't. lol

I intentionally skipped Coded because I heard it was just bad. Bad bad bad plasbad. And I never picked up BBS due to not having a PSP, but I still have my boyfriend's because he wanted me to play Daxter. I was thinking about picking up BBS at some point, but I'm not as into KH as I was when I was 17. :( I'll play it someday, though. It's apparently the best in the series.

My favorite is Kingdom Hearts 2, followed by 358/2.

The gameplay in 358/2 is really bad in comparison, but since I like Roxas I don't mind.

As I am a robot, I am incapable of dreaming, but... how shall I put it? I have very much longed to

I loved KH2 also! 358/2 days is my second favorite cause I to also love Ventus/Roxas my least favorite is Recoded.

I really liked that one mode in Days...idr what it was called, but you got to play as Organization members, which I always thought was really fun.

My favorite is also KHII followed very closely by Days. I mean, the gameplay in Days might have been terrible but the story in Days is really good and worth trying to get through the gameplay in my opinion. Even though there the "movie" you still need a lot of stuff because of the dialog that they say during the missions and so forth.

And KHII is kinda a favorite because it's the I beat first haha. Which actually does remind me that one day I should really beat the first game (which I intend to do when I can finally get a PS3 and 1.5 hurrhurr) as well as CoM. One day. But I've beaten all the rest of them!

They should just remake Days into a full game then everything will be set for me :) and like you said I loved that mode that allowed us to try different organization members.

I love the multiplayer modes in KH games! I was most disappointed about Days becoming just cutscenes in 1.5 HD because it meant we'd never get Mission Mode back and I've had a lot of fun doing that with my friends, when we could. Except I always play as Marluxia who has a really wide attack arc, meaning when you have friendly fire on he'll destroy both the enemy and any partners nearby in his basic combo. It's in-character for him, though, so I never felt that sorry about it, hehehe.

I'm also a little sad they took out BBS's multiplayer in the HD version, because its was a lot of fun too! I really love Command Board and throwing on a movie while playing that with a group of friends was one of my favourite pasttimes. Also some of the Mirage Arena battles were hard to do on your own. I think they've rebalanced them a bit for single player, but I still wish we could've had it all, you know? Apparently if they had just been making an HD version of BBS, they would have been able to port it up, but since they had KH2 to fine-tune and Re:Coded to put into cutscenes, they had to abandon the idea (grr, yet another reason to resent Re:Coded for me, hahaha).

It'll be interesting to see if they put any multiplayer stuff in KH3. I know they've said they're first and foremost going to concentrate on single player plot--which is good--but it would also be nice to be able to play online with friends somehow, too. Imagine an area like Mirage Arena in KH2 where the characters you could choose from are all the different Keyblade Wielders! I mean there's enough of them that you have all kinds of play styles even with just the Keyblade users now. :P It'd also be cool to throw the Organization in there and do Dissidia-style competitive fights (apparently Dissidia: Final Fantasy was originally conceived as a KH game!) but I also really enjoy co-operative stuff so I'd be happy with that too. Honestly, I'd even be happy with little multiplayer minigames like Flick Rush (?) from 3D or something too. :P

Someone tell me how I missed this thread. O_o

Uh, anyway. Kingdom Hearts is easily one of my favorite video Game series ever. And it's one of the things that got me into RPGs. The first one I played was Kingdom Hearts 2, which to this day is still my favorite out of the series. (An out of my favorite games it's number 6) And it also got me into the Final Fantasy series. It's also the main reason that I destroyed my first playstation, since I played it for over 600 hours. That's also the reason that the disk is so scratched, to the point of being unplayable. It literally took 8 hours to load the world map last time I played it.

The funny thing is that my copy of Kingdom Hearts 1 was scratched up pretty bad, and I didn't even know it at first because the game worked perfectly fine until I got to the ending credits; then it froze up on me.

Ouch. >_< At least it was at the end credits and not the final battle. That would have been worse. (I would know because it happened to me many times on other games. ;-;)

I'm a fan of this series, and have watched plenty of Let's Play videos regarding Kingdom Hearts games, all of which were enjoyable. Even though watching others play these games is definitely fun, you still don't get the same, exact experience as playing, which I, unfortunately, didn't have chance to do much of. In my entire lifetime, I've gotten through only one Kingdom Hearts game thus far.

Well, actually, I haven't finished it, but have started playing; Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded. Have downloaded it couple of weeks ago and put it into my flash-cart; currently, I'm up to chapter two, part after you finish those quests in the island. Personally, I'm finding it to be a lot of fun; hitting and defeating enemies require a lot of button-mashing and less thinking, which's very enjoyable, if you ask me!

I'm kind of sad that I haven't played any other KH game prior to this, but will be sure to make up for it by trying to catch up, somehow. Might take some time, but it'll likely be worth it.
