I have been thinking lately about alternate theories on stuff, such as Rick's dreams are the zombie apocalypse and so on (Walking Dead Season 5 premieres tonight!!!).

My theory is that Ash and the game protagonists NEVER go on the pokemon theory and that pokemon NEVER even exists in our fictional pokemon world.

In the pilot episode of the season 1 anime for pokemon, ash wakes up and is late to receive his pokemon (would later get Pikachu). I believe he is suffering from Maladaptive Daydreaming and ADHD.
Many people with ADHD and other disorders are known to be extremely smart and artistic. He may be "inventing" or writing about his fictional characters, or pokemon because we see posters, figurines, and poke balls in his bedroom, a result of his talent and imagination. His pokemon journey are the result of his daydreams. In the show, we see that he overreacts to many things, is hyper, and can't focus (bar battles), which are clear signs of ADHD. This could be mirroring his real life personality. Often, they go to sleep in the show, which could be his "breaks" from daydreaming.

Maladaptive Daydreaming is is a psychological concept first introduced by Eli Somer[1] to describe a proposed condition in which a person excessively daydreams or fantasizes, sometimes as a response to prior psychological trauma or abuse. This mental disorder is not psychotic or schizophrenic as those affected by this are aware of the difference between reality and fantasy, sometimes painfully. This disorder only becomes truly harmful when it interferes with a person's daily life to the point where it impedes his/her ability to eat, sleep, etc. [2] -Wikipedia

As you have probably noticed, you don't see Ashe's dad. Maladaptive daydreaming is often caused by abuse. He could be abused by his dad because he doesnt make good grades because of his ADHD. Because of this, he eliminates his father from his fantasies. He also probably doesnt have many friends in real life, which is made up in his daydream where he finds friends despite his annoying personality.

The games are a little more complicated to prove. The protagonists are Satoshi Tajiri- the creater and founder of the pokemon universe. They are the result of his ideas and daydreams representing his hunting bugs as a child. We can see this because we find various nintendo gaming systems on the floor of your bedroom in-game. (if you were in your bedroom in your dream, you would see the objects in your bedroom). As for never seeing your father in the game, his father was probably at work most of the time and his mother staying at home.

But, its just a theory- a game theor- oh wait.

That theory has been floating around for ages, dude.
I have never heard of that theory, otherwise I wouldn't post it. I made it all up myself.

While not exactly the same (the prevalent one is that Ash went into a coma after falling off that cliff that first day, and everything from thereon is a dream)- it's pretty similar.

I'm not bashing you. Just saying you're a little late to the party.

Your basically talking about One of the most hated Ending idea of Doreamon.
One of Suggested Ending Of Doreamon was that Nobita is actually a dying Boy who just imaging Doremon and others.
This ending was hated so much that Fans started Protesting against this ending .
That why it was dropped .
So I wonder if the Anime writer is actually planning for this type of Ending after knowing what happened to Doreamon.

I'm not familiar with Doreamon, but from what you have told me, it seems similar. I haven't watched all the anime and don't really watch it, but it would be disappointing if the pokemon anime ended that way-especially after about 15 years (probably over 20 by the time the franchise ends). However, it would be interesting- and my theory would be correct.
